Ufouria: The Saga 2 is a fun and amusing side-scrolling platform title. This wonderfully wholesome title will make you smile from beginning to end. However, it is far too easy and short. Accordingly, you will be left wanting. Yet, the short experience is captivating and brilliant.

In conclusion, ‘Exophobia’ is a retro sci-fi shooter that offers a unique blend of methodical gameplay, challenging combat, and atmospheric exploration. While its Metroidvania elements might leave some players feeling lost, those who appreciate a more deliberate and thoughtful challenge will find much to love here. If you’re looking for a game that rewards patience and perseverance, this one is well worth your time.

Shredders is a beautiful snowboarding simulation title. Take to the mountain, wow the crowd, and get an invite to the kick-ass event. Fantastic solo, but better with friends! Pull off some gnarly tricks and be one with the snowy wilderness.

Although I will say that I had a good time with Resonant Blade, I had some issues that I feel like addressing. This might have been an issue on my end, but playing this game with a controller was a bit difficult. It played fine until I reached a certain point where I had to hold down a button. It was as if it was treating my keyboard and my controller as being active at the same time. From then on, I had to use a keyboard for the rest of the game (which wasn’t too bad to play on either). Thankfully, the developer is making constant updates to the game to fix issues. If you enjoyed this game or not, be sure to leave helpful feedback to the developer. Overall, I would recommend this game if you’re looking for a unique 2D action adventure game.

Penny's Big Breakaway is a fun and interesting platform experience. Furthermore, the controls are tight, and the level design was well considered. However, the constant search for collectables and side quests may drive you mad.

Peppa Pig: World Adventures is a phenomenal child-friendly title that will impress your youngsters. With fun and safe gameplay, and vivid colours, this is aimed at a younger audience. However, as an adult, it was pretty annoying. Thankfully, though, the simple controls and straightforward mechanics allow your children to tackle this alone.

Misc. A Tiny Tale is a fun and wholesome 3D adventure. If you want a break from violence and gore, this is the game to turn to. It is colourful, funny, and a great experience.

Garden Witch Life is a wholesome sim title with a glorious fantasy edge. This slow-paced affair lets you explore at your own pace. Additionally, it demands that you help your neighbours as you progress. Though this wholesome approach may not appeal to everyone, I adored the feel-good factor. The only negatives are the lack of direction and the occasional bugs.

Roots of Pacha is a wholesome and touching life-sim that offers few surprises. However, the sense of belonging and the heartfelt storyline was pleasant to experience. Alongside this, I loved the mini-games and the fun world to explore. Yet, if you are after something new, this may not tick that box.

Overall, “DIG – Deep in Galaxies” is a solid game that provides hours of entertainment. The multiplayer system is a great addition, and the graphics are lovely. The roguelike mechanics keep things challenging and unpredictable, although the learning curve can be a bit steep for new players. The game can feel repetitive after a while, but the distinctive 2D landscapes and ecosystems of each planet make up for it. This game is definitely worth checking out, especially if you’re a fan of the roguelike genre or if you’re looking for a game to play with your friends. Just be prepared to die a lot and spend some time getting the hang of things. With a bit of patience and perseverance, you’ll be able to DIG deep and uncover all the secrets that this game has to offer.

Double Dragon Gaiden is a fantastic trip down memory lane. The pixelated art style has a wonderful art style. Moreover, the audio is loud and crass. As such, if you adore old-school beat 'em up games, you will fall for its dated charms. My only complaint is the mindless nature of the action is shallow and repetitive.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is exactly what it sets out to be; a fun and nostalgic trip down memory lane. Stunning pixel art visuals, fun and engaging combat and a killer soundtrack will make fans of the series long for more. Sadly, some players will not feel as challenged as they’d like to be in gameplay, along with tedious frustrating moments found in the super scaler levels. A simple plot and repetitive voice work don’t do the game any favours either, but overall, if you love the Power Rangers and arcade games, you’ll find room in your heart for this one. A nostalgic trip!

There’s a meditative quality in browsing the shop, weighing risks, and setting up the perfect formation that scratches an itch few games do. Maybe Knightica could carve out a larger niche for itself. For now, it’s a refreshing, strategic spin on the roguelite formula that’s worth keeping an eye on.

For someone who was brand new in many ways to this genre, I found SMTV enthralling in its deep and meaningful story, its superb cast of characters and its beautiful, yet haunting environments. However, I struggled at times to grasp its unforgiving combat. To sum up, this type of game and gameplay is certainly not for everyone, but for fans of the series, it’s the formula you know and love with wonderful new additions. Quality of life improvements help polish an already well-rounded game. Beautiful art style and a heart racing soundtrack complement the game to make a wonderful package for both returning players and newcomers like me. See you in the desert!

I love these types of games, simulation games that also can be considered to play like a sandbox game too! It’s got career mode to get you understanding and also learning how to play. Then you have the chance to just build up your farm the way you like. After of course, learning how to play and use the different features, which there are plenty to learn, it does become easier to know how to build and run a farm as a great manager should!

This is such a wonderful game that really is great for kids and adults. It is so much fun to play with a group of people, friends or family and even by one’s self. Nevertheless, you can do so much with the many options to play. For example, the multiplayer choice gives you an option to play separate games to compete with 2-4 others. While, the single-mode is a game on its own, where others can join if they like.

Though it wasn’t perfect, there is no denying that I loved Moo Lander. Its blend of exploration, combat and RPG elements was fantastic. Sadly, the controls weren’t as accurate as I’d have liked, but this is a minor thing. If you love multiplayer games, you’ll adore what is on offer. Alongside this, the story mode is excellent thanks to its amusing plot, badass cows, and eclectic blend of aliens. Unsurprisingly, I recommend you to buy it here! Will you save your species, or will every cow escape? Upgrade your ship, kill the aliens, and beam up every bovine you encounter.

Train Sim World 3 is an ultra-realistic simulation title. You will not notice minor issues and technical faults if you have never driven a train. However, if you have, you will despise the mistakes that undermine the potential. Besides this, the routes are fantastic, the trains look realistic, and I adored the additional gameplay elements.

This long-running franchise has seen some excellent additions over the years. Therefore, it may be foolhardy to say that this is one of the best. Other than its obvious shortcomings, this is a brilliant game that enhances the fighting genre. I adored the mixture of classic gameplay with new user-friendly elements. If the developers had enhanced the story mode, then this would have been exceptional.

Totally Spies! Cyber Mission is a fun but simple family-friendly title. Your kids will adore this 3-player experience. Furthermore, the dialogue is light-hearted, albeit annoying for adults. ICARUS Console Edition isn’t a perfect experience but when it’s on song, it’s a bold, vast, atmospheric and hugely ambitious survival game. It can be rewarding, satisfying and breath taking. Sadly, some players will be put off by a brutal learning curve and terrible UI. If you can get past that, there is a deeply rewarding survival game where you are the story and your adventures fill the page.

Over the years we’ve seen some excellent and some poor shmup games. Luckily, Remote Life is addictive, difficult, and frankly, superb! Its gameplay is easy to understand, the story is deep and captivating, and the artistry is phenomenal. The solo developer has done a fantastic job of capturing the best elements of the genre within his original game. Consequently, I loved it and I recommend you to buy it here! Can you eradicate the aliens that threaten mankind? Take on each unique mission, destroy the aliens, and return a hero.
