Overall, Railroad Corporation 2 is a great choice for fans of the tycoon genre, showcasing impressive attention to detail. It’s a game that requires patience and dedication, rewarding players who dive into its systems. While it might not be my favourite, I can see the effort and creativity that went into it. If you’re looking for a challenging tycoon experience, this game could be just what you need. Just be ready for the complexities that come with it.

    VED
VED feels like an intriguing D&D campaign, with our choices actually mattering. While the gameplay is a little on the thin side, the interesting plot and characters make up for it, and the story diversions kept me coming back.

Fun sniping, big open areas, and enjoyable side content highlights the strengths of the franchise. Wonky AI and a dull, overpowered protagonist hurt things a little in the close-combat though.

Onsen Master is a fun but short spa management title. It captures the madness of Overcooked but demands more planning. With level-specific challenges and angry bosses to overcome, you must think ahead and find every weakness.

Aesthetically, I really thought that MIO: Memories in Orbit was beautiful. The stunning visuals mixed with the vocals were super pleasing to experience. This element pulls me in as a player, and it grabs my attention from the very beginning. The developers did a fantastic job in this area. If you believe you are the right kind of player, then I happily recommend you pick this one up, just for the visuals alone.

Party Animals is a mindless and casual multiplayer experience. Furthermore, it is fun to join your friends as you punch, kick, and bully unsuspecting victims. However, the shameful in-game purchases are unforgivable.

Spellforce: Conquest of Eo is a turn-based strategy title that tries something new. However, it should have stuck with tried and tested mechanics. Yet, the change in genre is enjoyable and I loved the tactical nuance and the varied playstyles.

Bratz Rhythm and Style is perfect for younger children. However, adults will hate the simple action, repetitive one-liners, and puddle deep gameplay. This isn't aimed towards adults, so those concerns matter not! Kids will adore the vibrant graphics, straightforward mini-games, and controlling their favourite character!

Amanda the Adventurer is a delightfully creepy homage to an era of childhood innocence tinged with nostalgia. Its unique blend of children’s cartoon aesthetics, intricate puzzles, and interactive horror makes it a memorable experience that will surely haunt you long after the credits roll. Despite its brief length, it’s a nice experience that is worth embarking on, especially for fans of psychological horror or puzzles.

Brokenlore: UNFOLLOW highlights the negativity of social media. Moreover, it has some horribly creepy moments as you search for clues and overcome an array of problems. Although it is short, it is great to play.

My time with the game was one spent being mesmerized by both the wonderful art style as well as the soothing music as I took my time to solve each puzzle. There were some minor glitches that prevented me from progressing in certain areas but at the time of this review, I was playing through it on both the steam deck when it was unverified as well as the Pc so this may not be the case for other players. For those looking for a strong puzzle game with a unique story and setting, Terracotta is definitely worth adding to the collection.

I love Zelda and I really wanted to love this entry. If you’re looking for an open world sandbox with outstanding physics and mechanics, this is the game for you. Its graphics, controls, sound design and music are absolutely stunning. And despite my grievances, I still put in over 150 hours, even on an adult’s schedule. But I can perhaps see now why I dropped this game shortly after launch, it’s a less cohesive experience than Breath of the Wild, exemplifying not only its best qualities but also some of its weakest. Perhaps open world Zelda has reached its natural peak; will the next entry try to somehow top it, or will it return to the old formula that I seem to be hung up with nostalgia for? Time will tell.

Dyna Bomb 2 is a great solo or cooperative platform adventure title. With plenty to see and do, it'll keep you busy for hours. Its heavy reliance of grinding will disappoint some, but I enjoyed the overall challenge and replay value.

Everspace 2 is a perfect blend of an arcade shooter and space-looting action RPG, but not without its flaws. While a massive departure from the first Everspace game, if you’re nostalgic for classics like Freelancer and want a story that would fit perfectly into a 90s action sci-fi movie, this is the game for you.

Truck Driver - Heading North DLC is an excellent addition to the base game. With new tasks and a large map to explore, this brilliantly enhances the simulation experience. Unfortunately, the frustrating UI haunts the DLC. Yet, this won't taint an otherwise enjoyable sim title.

Doki Doki AI Interrogation is a fascinating concept. This short game lets you twist the narrative and torture your suspect. Moreover, it ups the ante once the hard mode is unlocked. However, it has room to grow, and I'm excited to see how this one evolves.

Leila is a dreamy and strange story-driven puzzle adventure title. The subjects are odd and the puzzles misleading, but I adore the plot, the story, and the wonderful soundscape. Though it is great, a game-breaking bug undermines the polish.

Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is a fantastic solo or cooperative 2D platformer. With old-school aesthetics and simple-to-understand elements, this is easy to play. Furthermore, you can be tested if you increase the difficulty. However, the controls and empty levels lead to some criticism. Despite these shortcomings, this is still an excellent title that I enjoyed.
