Excellent visual presentation and some solid gameplay fundamentals for the future, but with some puzzling omissions.

Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is a correct remake of the 2007 classic, which uses the mechanics and graphics of Sherlock Holmes Chapter One to update the Frrogwares game. Unfortunately, the circumstances of the conflict in Ukraine have affected the development and ambition of the project, which is a step behind the previous title of the franchise.

An amazing puzzle title that is very easy to understand, fun and with really good ideas. However it is very short.

It's one of the best adventures of the last decade, but the PC port is a disaster in terms of optimization, performance, and bugs that don't live up to the franchise.

A great metroidvania adventure and good artistic design where its negative point is found in some scenarios with an artificially high difficulty.

Refreshing, unique and incredibly polished, Pizza Tower brings an experience that few other platformers can hope to match. A twisted energy spike in a world full of bland 2D indies.

Dredge is surprising in its proposal to mix fishing and the RPG genre, but it loses steam after a few hours of play. Still, it is a very interesting and innovative work.

Peaky Blinders: The King's Ransom manages, through the care it gives off and the good work done in the implementation of its mechanics, to be among the best games for virtual reality in standalone systems. An appreciable achievement considering that the limited hardware has made poor graphics the norm for many developers. [Meta Quest tested]

Dreams in the Witch House is a point and click adventure game with role-playing and survival elements, inspired by Lovecraft's short story of the same name. Its gameplay is very original, and its setting is magnificent, and it leaves us complete freedom of action to decide what we want to do at all times. Only the lack of content and few and not very brilliant puzzles keep it from being outstanding, but we are left with a different and fresh graphic adventure, highly recommended for fans of the genre and essential for lovers of Lovecraft.

This remake of Resident Evil 4 is an homage to a classic, very respectful with it (maybe a bit too much respectful). It´s a terrific action game, but we miss some of the braveness Capcom had for the Resident Evil 2 remake.

A Space for the Unbound is one of those games that ends up having a considerable emotional impact on you, and this is not easy nowadays. A work that, even if you put on the greatest emotional armor possible, when the time comes, it will break you, it will make you reflect and draw conclusions such as how important the video game is as a medium and how unused it continues to be today in many cases. An adventure that, due to its message and the way it is told, should be in schools.

Despite not being perfect, Scars Above can satisfy those players that look for a challenging experience in a science fiction environment. Technically average, we talk about a long game with an important sense of progression and a great variety of weapons, although most of the combats are based in elemental weaknesses.

Blood Bowl 3 is a step back from the second installment of the series in terms of content, and it seems like an early access release full of glitches and omissions. We love its gameplay and the possibilities of its proposition, but we think it still has a long way to go to reach its potential.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is going head-on from the start. The new soulslike from Team Ninja returns to sign a solid, addictive combat. It is the hallmark of the team. Risk has its reward. Mechanics added to the formula, such as the morale system, influence the development of the levels. From the moment you enter a mission, you activate the chip to achieve everything and destroy everything that comes your way. It's hard not to recommend it to fans of the genre. Only the limitation of the bestiary and the uninteresting loot system keep it from going one step further.

We doubt that many indies more beautiful than Season will pass through our console this 2023. Season is a contemplative experience that helps to break the rhythm of modern society and serves to rest and heal the soul. It's a pity that the controls are so bad and that the game is empty of meaning and message. As if you were passing a beautiful postcard through Instagram and filling it with hashtags and pose.

Wild Hearts is a great gateway to the online hunting genre and a worthy alternative to Monster Hunter. The idea of constructions is the future of this type of games and its rhythm, like a musou, makes Wild Hearts dynamic, original and fun. Its a pitty what happens with the camera, its performance issues and its broken progression system that requires you to grind to death and doesn't allow you to complete the game if you are a lone wolf.
