Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is better than the previous installment but it doesn't revolutionize his concept. More cars, more tracks and more game modes for a frenetic arcade racing game that feels somewhat conservative at the controls.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is a really great deal of great games with lots of good extras. Its main flaw is the absence of graphical upgrades, but if you don't mind about this just buy it.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder arrives as the new bar within the 2D saga. Nintendo reinvents a formula after learning all these years in the 3D branch. It is a diverse, challenging game, full of surprises and that is constantly on the rise from start to finish.

Lies of P is a good Soulslike that follows the shadow of From Software’s work. The game shines when shows it’s own identity (bosses, for example), but it is a short time compared with the rest of the adventure.

Sonic Superstars is not only one of the greatest tributes to the more classic side of the blue hedgehog, but a game with a character and personality all of its own. A title that feels familiar from the first moment, but that will surprise us as we progress. SEGA proves that there is life for classic Sonic beyond the pixel art style.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is the perfect sequel, the best game from Insomniac Games and a new must-have in the PS5 catalog. It improves on the previous ones in absolutely every respect and has a much darker and more violent story, with two sensational villains.

Lords of the Fallen is one of the best soulslike out there. It is very ambitious and great to play, but it is not perfect. Its technical problems makes it very irregular, but at the same time the game is essential for all Dark Souls fans.

Disgaea 7 is the return to the series in style, being by far the most accessible game in the series through its different options while retaining the characteristic identity that has popularised the franchise, both through gameplay mechanics and the development of the plot. Undoubtedly an option to take into account for fans of the series and the tactical RPG genre.

When we are on the court, we have nothing but good words for NBA 2K24, with a solid gameplay, improved thanks to ProPLAY, and amazing visuals. The problems come when we go out of it, finding the always present microtransactions and other decisions difficult to understand.

Mortal Kombat 1 is a true love letter to the 3D era of the saga. This is the Mortal Kombat 9 of this generation, and it must be valued as such. Although it is not sold as a celebration of legacy, it works very well as such and as a standalone saga title. It is a fairly complete video game whose main defects are not the game itself, but commercial decisions such as removing some fighters that are already included in the game to sell them separately. However, given the amount of content available and its quality, the fact that it will be updated over time and its overwhelming graphics make these outrages not hurt as much.
