Dreams in the Witch House is an engrossing experience. It uses well-executed visuals, music, and writing to seamlessly place the player in the center of H.P. Lovecraft’s story. The role-playing elements work seamlessly with the narrative to heighten empathy for the protagonist.

Live the life of a starving student or investigate dark occult secrets. It’s your choice in Dreams in the Witch House, a roleplaying/resource management/point-and-click adventure hybrid that makes for a very challenging, occasionally frustrating but often fun balancing act.

Dreams in the Witch House is a point and click adventure game with role-playing and survival elements, inspired by Lovecraft's short story of the same name. Its gameplay is very original, and its setting is magnificent, and it leaves us complete freedom of action to decide what we want to do at all times. Only the lack of content and few and not very brilliant puzzles keep it from being outstanding, but we are left with a different and fresh graphic adventure, highly recommended for fans of the genre and essential for lovers of Lovecraft.

Wow! I didn't expect that the BEST Lovecraftian game I've ever played would be a simple indie game with graphics reminiscent of classic King'sWow! I didn't expect that the BEST Lovecraftian game I've ever played would be a simple indie game with graphics reminiscent of classic King's Quest and other adventures from the early 90's. But... amazing! This game has a great story and survival mechanics that shows us the true horror of being simple people tormented by the Elder Ones... and college exams! Expand
