No, NHL 21 is really not a news party by any means. It feels more like an "just because we can" attempt by EA to make one last penny on the current console generation. There is nothing major wrong with the game itself, but if you've played the prior editions of recent years you will notice the lack of new thinking.- M3

Sega has really tried to do something new with Team Sonic Racing. Despite the great entertainment value, we are quickly bored due to the limited selection of tracks and frustrated by our teammates. Combined with unclear difficulty, we suspect that few players will have the patience and desire to play Team Sonic Racing as many hours as we have done.- M3

Even tough the story is a bit unevenly told; we cannot stop playing Sea of Solitude until Kay has reached the end of her journey. Partly because the story always manages to motivate us to go further, partly because the adventure is not long enough for the shortcomings to become too intrusive. When it is all said and done, Sea of Solitude is a gripping but uneven journey that is worth taking.- M3

In Hot Wheels Unleashed you get to drive, jump and slide around creative and demanding tracks. The races are short and intense, and the toy cars feels great to control. The gameplay lacks a bit variation though, and sometimes a second of bad luck can destroy all chances of winning a race. At its best though, Hot Wheels Unleashed can compete with timeless classics such as Ridge Racer 7, Micro Machines V3 and F-Zero GX.- M3

Little Hope, the second part of the horror series Dark Pictures, is a more refined and scarier experience than its predecessor. Walking around the misty town reminds us of Silent Hill, even though the game soon takes a more familiar horror route. The journey could be better in a lot of ways, but just like horror movies, some weird acting and other oddities are a part of the package. Little Hope is far from perfect, but it is still a fun little horror gem that will entertain horror fans.- M3

With jaw-dropping graphics, fantastic music, great gameplay, likeable characters - and terrifying hordes - it is hard to tell that Days Gone is Bend Studios first truly big-budget game. The Lego concept is starting to go on auto pilot, and Lego Avengers does very little to change that. It’s charming and fun, but the puzzle design and the combat system both could been way better. With NHL 22, EA's classic hockey game finally gets a new game engine, which gives us better physics, graphics, and animations. As usual, we also get a ton of different games modes that will make most hockey fans happy. What we do not get, however, is enough notable gameplay improvements. Even though the improved physics helps a fair amount, plenty of old shortcomings remains. That said, NHL 22 is a great hockey game, but there is still room for plenty of improvements.- M3

Although the innovative concept is very impressive and while we are undeniably entertained when working with Labo, this can hardly be counted as one of Nintendo's great successes. MXGP 2020 is a motocross game that on the surface looks like its rather mediocre predecessors, but with higher resolution and better framerate. After a lap on the track, however, it becomes obvious that the control and physics have been greatly improved. Watch Dogs: Legion offers light-hearted and not-too-challenging entertainment, all portrayed in a surprisingly compelling replica of London. Despite its name, Project Cars 3 is anything but a sequel to the realistic Project Cars 2. For better or worse, this is more of a sequel to Need for Speed Shift. Instead of tactical and demanding gameplay, Project Cars 3 aims for fast and thrilling races, spiced with an ounce of realism. It might sound like a disaster, but if you know what to expect, there is a lot of fun to be had here - if it was not for all the bugs and some odd design choices that currently ruin the experience. After a few updates the game might very well be worth your time, but at the moment it is better to wait.- M3

Mario Golf: Super Rush is a well-made and entertaining sports game that shows that Nintendo and Camelot learned their lesson after the content-poor Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash. When the old Gameboy Advance game Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team get a Switch-remake the new shiny graphics makes a great first impression. Apparently, Yu Suzuki's own vision for the open world genre did not match what the latter came to be. But we do give him credit for choosing to stay on the route that fans expect. On the one hand, Darius Cozmic Collection Console deserves praise for giving us access to nine rare and classic shoot 'em ups. Nine titles that, for the most part, hold a high standard to this day.
