A ferocious, fast and solid dungeon crawler, Bloodborne is a title of great quality and deep atmosphere, albeit limited by its lack of variety in terms of enemies, weapons and environments, frame rate drops and exhaustive loading times.

An unorthodox and wacky shooter, Battleborn oozes style and charisma, but its deep and original game-system is not for everyone. The game will give a lot to those who can understand it, but might be a little misunderstood by those who are looking for instant gratification.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is much more than just a paint job trying to make a 2006 game look good. It's so much more than that. If you loved the original game you will fall in love with this one. If you didn't have a chance to play it back then and love RPGs or Final Fantasy, don't wait and grab a copy. You wont be disappointed.

SOMA is a great psychological horror experience that sci-fi enthusiasts should not miss for the world. It’s a philosophical, deep, and well written story that encourages players to think and explore as they descent into the abyss.

Dragon Quest III: HD-2D Remake is the best way to play this classic JRPG thanks to its additions but also because it has the same soul that made the original game so important for the genre. It’s visually stunning, magical and very attractive for new and old players.

This is truly the definitive edition of a great hack and slash game. The exclusive additions may seem dreary, but they actually refresh the fighting system and serve as a return to the roots of the franchise. This is a well-made re-edition.

While the new engine, based on Kojima Production's FOX Engine, allowed a visual improvement, it also helped us realize that the game's physics are in need of a little renovation. The game modes are basically the same as in previous editions, but the real improvements were made in its core mechanics. Obsessive players are going to be able to control every detail of the game, but newcomers might feel overwhelmed by all the new possibilities that the complex control scheme allows.

Gran Turismo 7 is a great racing game. It's clear that Polyphony Digital learned from the missteps of Gran Turismo Sport to deliver a game that, in conjunction with being an extremely solid experience, is the return to its roots that fans were hoping for. While it's certainly not an arcade experience, it does enough to be approachable for those who are not experts but want a deep racing game with a lot of content.

This new expansion in the Diablo universe puts great effort into what really matters in the franchise: the tireless search for the most epic of equipment for your character. Every feature in Reaper of Souls is a highly rewarded activity that will captivate old a new players alike.

Konami decided to unearth 3 of its most valuable jewels and make them available to us in a single package. M2 was the studio in charge of making the necessary adjustments so that the games are optimally adapted to the new platforms. Thus we can enjoy an experience almost identical to the original and even some improvements. Castlevania Dominus Collection is one of the best collections to date that also includes valuable and interesting extras.

Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny is a very good remaster worth every second and guaranteed to be fun. It’s a testament to a different era, but no less exciting for it. The audiovisual improvements, gameplay tweaks, and enough content to replay (despite its limitations and flaws) are enough to give you a glimpse into the past and prepare for what’s to come. Onimusha is emerging from obscurity, and that’s definitely a good thing.

Madden NFL 15 won't break the mold in terms of gameplay innovation, but its new looks coupled with a much-needed improvement on the defensive side of the ball and the Gauntlet mode, add some freshness to the formula and, most importantly, make this the first truly next-gen iteration of the series.

Since it was launched, the PS Vita has been longing for a game like this. Not only Killzone: Mercenary a good FPS, but it is also a solid addition to the scarce lineup of games in this portable console. Leaving aside some problems with the running and covering controls, the game offers a pleasant experience that we can't really see happening on another console.

Control takes us right the other side of that door you do not remember having unlocked, to the middle of the that dark hall that you started crossing while thinking that there’s nothing hiding in the dark, specially not behind you. The dark tone and creepy setting of the Oldest House remains all through your adventure and even though you’ll eventually get enough powers to kick around any enemy you find, you’ll never get to chase away that feeling that something is not right. Control is a reminder that Remedy is still a developing powerhouse.

Underneath the odd blend of Mario with the Rabbids lies a very good SRPG. Its combat mechanics are frantic, fun and complex enough to make the whole campaign a joy to play. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a nice surprise, there is no doubt about it.

EA Sports F1 25 is much better than last year's installment, and Codemasters addressed key points to ensure its fans weren't disappointed. Braking Point 3 and My Team 2.0 are high-quality offerings that warrant recommending the game to fans of the competition and those looking to immerse themselves in its world. The handling improvements, despite their rough edges that will surely be addressed in future updates, are a decent sim cadence, as is the audio-visual section. Despite the less than favorable environment, this is a good F1 installment, and it will undoubtedly hold its own throughout the season.

Far Cry 5 has an interesting story and a theme that explores dark corners of the North American psyche. The Story has some pretty good moments that make you think about what a group of people is capable of when they follow an extreme ideology and they try to impose their vision of the world not caring about anything besides what one person or a book says. But the story just establishes the setting of the game; on top of it there is a pretty fun game, full of action and adventure in witch you'll be running from religious fanatics and blowing everything that stands in your path to put an end to madness.

Pikmin 4 captures the essence of the franchise, even if it doesn't redefine the gaming landscape. While it doesn't revolutionize gaming, it delivers the familiar real-time strategic gameplay and introduces interesting changes. The open philosophy in level design and beautiful atmosphere will immerse players in a miniature world. Though it may be too easy and lacks an intriguing story, Pikmin 4 is a solid addition to the series.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is a bold step forward for the franchise, turning the traditional formula into a fast-paced action RPG. Its combat system is thrilling, strategic, and refreshingly different, while its return to Kalos brings nostalgic charm. However, its single-city setting, underwhelming visuals, and lack of voice acting keep it from true greatness. Still, Legends: Z-A captures the wonder and heart of Pokémon better than any recent entry. A strong evolution, even if not the final form.

Conceptually fresh and quite deep, The Division delivers on almost every level despite some minor bugs and sporadic crashes. The Dark Zones need some work and true to the genre, there is a sense of repetition here and there, but in the end The Division feels like an early Christmas present.
