Diablo III is a great game for anybody who enjoys fast-paced games with action-packed fights. Blizzard did an excellent job taking this game to consoles. Fans will enjoy playing with the new control scheme and newcomers will have a blast experiencing Diablo III for the first time.

Mario vs Donkey Kong is the perfect example of how Nintendo should remake all of its games. It has everything the original had but it adds a lot of content that looks better than ever.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land isn't a revolution for the series, but... did it need to be? All it had to do was deliver a game that was faithful to what has made Kirby a franchise that generates excitement, and it largely succeeded at that. Kirby took too long to make the leap to 3D, but the point is that he did it, and in a satisfying way.

Tactics Ogre Reborn is not perfect but it is a very wise re-release. It's not uncommon to see re-releases that disappoint by being simplistic or disrespecting the original creative vision by changing too much, but in this case we're talking about a release that avoids falling into either of these holes. Instead we have a title that succeeds by delivering the definitive version of a tactical RPG that deserves to be played by more people.

Foul Play runs under the premise of being an action filled theater play, so you'll have to keep your audience entertained at all times. The level and character design helps maintain this illusion, and even though you'll see the actor's faces beneath the monster's costumes, the cheering of the crowd will be enough motivation to don your monocle and kick some demonic butt.

It seems that Codemasters' plan is to revolutionize its F1 franchise every 2 years and this season we saw minimal changes. However, the result is still outstanding and although it is necessary to correct some details, it is, today, the best Formula 1 game. The career mode is a great success and in itself is worth it to start the engine of the car. compete on the top circuit. It may cause division between realism enthusiasts and casuals in its released state, but not everything has been said. Despite this, in general it is, once again, one of the best sports games of the year.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus proves that the franchise can evolve and experiment for the better. It's a solid game that breaks the mold, and despite its visual simplicity, it doesn't detract from Game Freak's attempt to revamp a classic. Pokémon Legends: Arceus could have been better, but it is an important step towards the future of the franchise.

Mortal Kombat 1 is like taking a step back in all the right ways. The reboot cranks up the intensity and throws caution to the wind by tossing in the Kameo Fighter as a spicy new ingredient in the classic mix. The freedom you get when pulling off aerial combos? It's downright glorious. Sure, there might be a bit less content to munch on, but the game makes up for it with controls that are as solid as a rock and as versatile as a Swiss army knife. And let's not forget the characters, oozing charisma and packing a punch as they dive headfirst into all-out mayhem. Mortal Kombat 1 is a wild blood-soaked party where fun takes center stage.

Superhot is high-octane, adrenaline-fueled action... in slow motion. It’s a good representation of frantic FPS gameplay with smart puzzle mechanics, and a meta-story most indie developers dream of.

ROAD 96 is so much more than an indie point-and-click. It’s a solid recommendation despite its obvious limits. This small world created by Yoan Fanise and DigixArt, suggests that there is still a lot to see from the Indie scene. What else can I say about this game? Perhaps whoever has lived it will understand, because for me ROAD 96 is Jeremy by Pearl Jam; Something in the Way by Nirvana; Nutshell by Alice in Chains; Firestarter by The Prodigy and 1979 by The Smashing Pumpkins, all at the same time and made into video game form.

Octopath Traveler II is a solid JRPG that shines beyond its nostalgic tricks. With fantastic storytelling, beautiful visuals, an exceptional soundtrack, and engaging combat mechanics, the game delivers 8 memorable journeys. While it stays in line with its predecessor, Team Asano and Acquire understood the areas of improvement and worked to deliver a great experience.

Mario Tennis Fever is the most complete entry in the series so far. The game offers fast-paced matches, creative power shots, and a surprisingly stable online mode. While motion controls feel inaccurate and disappointing, the core gameplay, large character roster, and multiplayer options make it a very fun and engaging experience on Nintendo Switch 2.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst respects the legacy of the first game. Actually, it is neither better nor worse than its predecessor but the fact that it is a reboot allows a new audience to approach the series. The number of activities, the argument and 30 hours of gameplay make up for the bleak atmosphere of Glass City. DICE seems to have laid strong foundations this time and perhaps this is just the beginning of a new Mirror's Edge series.

Doom Eternal is one of the best FPS that exists today. We can even say that it far exceeds the original. However, not everything shines with the same intensity; the story is confusing and unnecessary, the platform sections are tedious, the new visual identity is generic. In general, you can notice a change of direction towards a game as a service for the wrong reasons. Doom Eternal finds himself caught in the eternal conflict of finding his own identity.

Monster Hunter Generations may not be a direct sequel to the Monster Hunter series, but it serves as a celebration to all the hunters that started with the series 10 years ago instead. The complexity of the game is still there, the gigantic monsters too, but the new mechanics are the main attraction of this portable title that looks amazing on a brand new 3DS. In the end, fans of the hunting video game category will feel grateful that Capcom keeps doing great Monster Hunter Games.

We were pleasantly surprised by Borderlands 4. It's a game that managed to hook us for weeks during the process of writing this review, and we know we'll continue to clean up loose ends and experiment with the rest of the characters. However, the technical issues raise some alarm bells that we hope are just that. For better or worse, the reality is that it's more Borderlands. We don't mean that as a necessarily negative thing; after all, its value as the game that popularized looter shooters is impossible to deny. What we mean is that if you're the type who didn't enjoy the loop of the previous games, we don't expect this title to change your mind.

EA Sports FC 25 marks a turning point for the better in the renewed football franchise. Of course, it carries some vices from the past, but it is far from those disastrous moments or those that showed a lack of interest among followers of this type of games. We can say that the foundation is being built for a total football experience that satisfies casual and demanding players and that is saying a lot, as it breaks with the mediocre period of recent years. We are sure that this year's installment will have more fun for you and that you will scream with emotion for each goal as if it were real, so, believe it or not, there are more good ones than bad ones this year. Happy start to the football season.
