Prospekt tries to emulate the formula that made Half-Life 2 so great but falls short in its execution. The puzzle elements are forgotten as soon as they are introduced along with the story, which results in a painful experience due to its broken combat design.- LevelUp

Kirby Battle Royale has well designed party minigames but its campaign is repetitive and disappointing. If you have friends to play it you’ll enjoy the madness of the battle but the whole game feels like an extra of past Kirby games and not as a full priced 3DS title.- LevelUp

New Tales From the Borderlands could have been a much better game. There is a huge potential in the Borderlands universe to explore stories about all those people who with their work and sacrifice pay the bills for the eternal greed of corporations. The potential of this world to tell stories we can relate to and then give us the illusion that the little guys can win, even if it's just once, was completely wasted.- LevelUp

An exercise in tedium, Farming Simulator 15 has a very laudable compromise with the recreation of agriculture, but its problematic progression, poor presentation and general dullness detract from its genuine potential as the best simulator on the subject.- LevelUp

As a twin stick shooter, Halo: Spartan Assault is a decent game, but as an iteration to the Halo series, it leaves much to be desired both in story and content. Spartan Assault offers 30 short missions that, without the skulls, are an easy challenge for the player. The coop missions are the only pleasant additions, but there are only 5, in top of that, completing them also takes a very short time. Maybe if the single player missions from the campaign had received the same treatment, but that was not the case.- LevelUp

The solid combat mechanics and quality voice acting are the only things that this game has going for it. Everything else feels either disjointed, shallow or out of place. Lords of Shadow 2, as a whole, feels as a mediocre product with some graphical hiccups. In the end, the sequel destroys the good memories we had from the first iteration.- LevelUp

The Jetstream DLC includes a new and short campaign, but its main problem is that it recycles the scenarios and boss fights from the original main campaign. If you were expecting to get a whole new experience you will feel rather disappointed.- LevelUp

Somerville takes inspiration from 2 great modern classics, Limbo and Inside, however, it falls short to offer a deep contemplative experience. Despite some technical difficulties, it offers great value as a visually compelling puzzle adventure.- LevelUp

Mario Party the Top 100 is a missed opportunity. The idea of bringing together the best of the series in a game was good but it has been poorly executed with lack of motivation to return to play. The almost complete absence of the classic board game fun is an incomprehensible decision.- LevelUp

Unlike other entries in the LEGO series, such as LEGO Batman, in LEGO Jurassic World, collectable characters are irrelevant, there are just a few zones were you can actually use your dinosaurs and they lack activities. Bottom line, this game works better as a souvenir than a videogame.- LevelUp

You have to commend Visceral Games for trying something new. Sadly, though, Battlefield Hardline ends up being a lackluster mix of concepts, none of which actually shines with a light of its own. For every single-player or multiplayer idea in Battlefield Hardline, there's a better equivalent somewhere else, including Battlefield 4.- LevelUp

FUSE feels like a cluster of several half-baked ideas. From generic art direction to a poorly paced and developed script, the title falls short in almost every aspect. All the character classes feel like variations of the same boring template, the enemies are faceless drones with no personality, the boss fights are repetitive and the level design is mediocre. You'll have to be a very hardcore third person shooter fan to enjoy the uninspired combat design and generic nature of this title.- LevelUp

Felix The Cat returns in a two-pack of platformers from 30 years ago. The nostalgia hit is evident but not enough to justify its price. It's appreciated that Konami has taken an interest in unearthing a gem of its era, but the treatment of the package is very poor. The lack of extras or improvements on a technical level is somewhat disappointing. It's a nice attempt to bring back Felix The Cat, but it's not the tribute he deserves.- LevelUp

More like an elaborate joke than a real game, if you decide to play along with Goat Simulator, you will have a good time. However, it's not much than a fancy tech demo. In the end, Goat Simulator is funny because of the absurdity of the concept rather than because of the game mechanics.- LevelUp

Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai is a missed opportunity for fans of Dai (known as The Adventures of Fly in the West) who were hoping for a good game to revive the franchise. Despite the dedication to telling the story, the game is mediocre and fails to encompass everything seen in the anime remake. In short, it joins the list of anime-based games that fail to live up to their expectations and squander their potential.- LevelUp

Kinect Sports Rivals can be fun at times, but Rare assumes that Kinect works perfectly and increases the challenge accordingly, not knowing that the devise is still a bit slow. The result then turns into frustration and exhaustion. Add that to the lengthy loading screens, dull story and reiterative NPC sequences, and you end up with an experience that will only entertain for a few hours at most.- LevelUp

It doesn't matter if the game explores an interesting yet unknown aspect of WWII, the Warsaw Uprising, its lack of presentation and good art direction, along with tons of bugs, overshadow some interesting design ideas and good level design. The lackluster multiplayer doesn't help much to improve the game, either.- LevelUp

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake represents a setback compared to what was seen in the remake of Battle for Bikini Bottom, which should be the standard, especially since this is a game with an "original" proposal. Without problems, it can be an introductory experience to gaming for children and youth audiences, but outside of that group and if you are not a fan of the series, better watch an episode or its movies.- LevelUp

A good choice for users who did not play the original title, as it keeps its excellent soundtrack, accessible gameplay, easy customization and a good implementation of 3D stereoscopic effect. Unfortunately, it doesn't add outstanding stuff to the mix to justify a second purchase at full price besides its compatibility with amiibos and the C-Stick on the New 3DS.- LevelUp

Mario Sports Superstars is a mediocre game by itself and even more in Nintendo’s standard. The real problem is not that the developers sacrificed depth in favor of greater variety, but that the execution lacked charisma in each and every sport. There’s no emotion nor intensity, only a very generic and technical experience. If Camelot and Nintendo would have chosen to leave behind the seriousness, to embrace the chaos and spontaneity that worked so well in the past, maybe then Mario Sports Superstars could had become a great sports game.- LevelUp
