Despite its relaxing gameplay and great Japanese sense of humor, it can be repetitive at times and even disappointing for those who expect something resembling Animal Crossing.

Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash is nice and fun, with a sexual overtone that provides identity to the game but also gets in the way of the gameplay mechanics. It is clear that the game is aiming for a very specific audience but it could have achieved much more with a bit of moderation.

Just Dance 2018 is an update to the popular Ubisoft franchise with more songs as its main attraction. The gameplay has not changed much and although we appreciate add-ons such as Kid and Double Rumble modes, you will not find new mechanics that transform the gameplay we all know.

The Centennial Case : A Shijima Story is a game with very clear strengths and really pronounced weaknesses. In the end,its strengths are what stand out thanks to a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. It would be great if its interactive parts were less tedious. However, those who manage to see past its stumbling blocks will find the mystery story engaging.

LEGO Horizon Adventures achieves its primary goal: capturing the essence of Horizon Zero Dawn and blending it with LEGO's characteristic humor to deliver a charming and entertaining experience. While it shines through its beautiful visuals and enjoyable combat system, its linear structure and uninspired level design limit the variety, making the gameplay feel repetitive. Even so, it's a good entry point for embarking on Aloy's journey for the first time.

LEGO Marvel's Avengers will make you smile with tons of content, fan service and its tongue-in-cheek tone if you are a kid or an otherwise obsessive fan of the franchise, if not, you will grow tired of its repetitive formula and design flaws very soon.

In the end, Caravan SandWitch is a game for those who don't want to get into trouble and want to enjoy an interesting story with a simple design and mechanics, perhaps even for those who want to get into video games, but not in a such a deep level. The sense of freedom and exploration is well achieved, although the proposal does not take long to expose the resources that, in my opinion, lengthen it more than necessary,

The upgrades to the Toy Box Disney stop Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition from being a completely mediocre game. However, the campaign and overall presentation leave a lot to be desired.

An amazing technical feat but a shell of a game in most respects, No Man's Sky excels at atmosphere and world-generation but its core mechanics are commonplace and unexciting as they come. Good, but not extraordinary by any means.

An ambitious game that loses depth in its attempt to incorporate too many elements. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham has a well-rounded story and the great variety of characters brings a broad repertoire of possibilities even when reiterative level design and poor mechanics dilute what could have been an exceptional title.

Patapon aged very well and it’s nice to play it now on the PS4. This remastered version is just a decent way to enjoy the rhythm and strategy of the PSP classic with polished graphics.

Daemon X Machina scratches an itch only select titles can alleviate. It shines through its cel shading aesthetic, but suffer from a bad control scheme and a horrible camera design that will cause you to miss the action in the game. Piloting a mecha is the best feeling it has to offer, but the game stiff mission scheme turns boring quickly.

Maneater is a game of many of many shortcomings; terrible loading screens, frightening cinematics cuts and a myriad of technical difficulties. However, the game is also extremely fun if you can overlook some of its problems.

A good attempt to bring competitive multiplayer to Xbox LIVE Arcade. With qualities like weapon customization or the possibility to modify every aspect of your character, this game falls short of becoming one prominent example of its genre. Maybe in the future the developers will include more weapons and new maps, but in the mean time this game is fun but doesn't offer anything new.

Diablo IV remained stuck in the past while trying to find innovation without generating friction with fans who have played the franchise for over two decades; It feels like the ghost of Diablo Immortal continues to haunt the halls of Blizzard. The game is more of a reinvention of the classic experience, focusing on a games-as-a-service format to ensure another decade of content for Diablo.

Saints Row is an experience with peculiar contrasts Volition truly tried to reinvent the franchise for a new generation, but not wanting to betray its roots it was unable to evolve in the way it needed to be truly relevant in the midst of 2022...It is an entertaining and fun experience that many will have a good time with, of that we have no doubt. However, it has clear flaws and antiquated systems, so it will probably be remembered without much shame or glory.

Beyond the controversy, NBA 2K21 manages to save itself only because of the special attention that the development team puts on its playability since the game does not offer anything at the moment other than its already known modes, which are beginning to being flagged by the community as old and outdated, as well as an online component that got eaten up by microtransactions.

Metal Gear Survive is a strange and unique mix. On one hand it’s an interesting survival game, on the other it’s a merge of Sci-Fi elements with a shoehorned political plot and dull characters. The game has some genuinely fun and intense moments, but its mechanics and stiff controls sometimes make the experience unnecessarily difficult. Despite all of this the game can be quite rewarding and keeps you in a state of urgency that can be really fun.

Although it doesn't include as much content as we would have liked, Rise of Iron turned out to be a fun expansion, full of tweaks and small changes to stuff that used to make us angry. The new raid is a hoot and the redesign of the Iron Banner feels very welcome.

SD Gundam Battle Alliance is an interesting proposal. It is one of those games that can entertain you for dozens of hours. The problem is that, in order to achieve that, you need to have certain niche tastes. The point is that you can enjoy SD Gundam Battle Alliance without being a fan of Gundam or actions RPGS; however, it seems to me that its true appeal can only be appreciated by those who are.

They say old habits die hard, and that's precisely what stains Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. We have a game that knows how to capitalize on the franchise it's based on to deliver a product that does enough to distinguish itself from other releases. Despite having several moments of quality and clever design, the overall quality suffers due to outdated mission design, as well as a dull, hollow, and timid story that shows a lot but says very little.

I liked my time with Dread Templar, especially when the game took off and began to offer a challenge on par with the best exponents of the young retro FPS subgenre. On the other hand, I think it needed a bit of work to really stand out, perhaps by handling the upgrade system or the boss battles in a different way. In any case, Dread Templar is a good game that understands the classic fundamentals of the genre and contains adrenaline-pumping moments in polished and emotional combat.
