Need for Speed Heat is an average game that maintains some essential elements of the franchise, with some poor implementations that sabotaged the project itself.

Even when you consider that this game has solid foundations inherited from previous iterations of the franchise, its poor level design and dull learning curve, make it a forgettable experience that we can do without, especially when there are much better platform games out there.

Mario Party 10 fulfills the purpose of entertaining the whole family and brings some interesting innovations to the table thanks to the Game Pad ―like the Bowser Party mode. Having said that, it is very clear to us that at some point, development took a wrong turn and some segments received more attention than others.

A bit of a disappointment, Armikrog fails to surpass or even match the magic of The Neverhood due to repetitive puzzles, broken interfaces and a lackluster story. At least Armikrog brings more TenNapel visual goodness to compensate.

Painfully generic, Paper Jam is dull and boring in many respects, but at least has some decent mechanics going for it.

This first attempt from Codemasters to bring the F1 Championship to the next-gen consoles lacks a better carreer mode and they absolutely need to fix the multiplayer. If you enjoy only driving without caring for a more in depth carreer mode, you should give this a try, because the simulation is the only good thing about this game.

Windbound shines at first glance for its beautiful landscapes and a mix of survival themes with good sea-navigation mechanics, yet it falls short putting these ingredients into action. It's a game that becomes fun if you manage to overcome the learning curve, but it becomes very tedious and frustrating after a few hours.

Despite remaining true to the essence of the franchise, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts has no elements to highlight in the FPS scene and may represent an option that attracts the attention of the public that remains true to this CI Games proposal, but nothing more.

Life is Strange: True Colors is an immersive experience that connects the user with its characters and successfully transports the player to the town of Haven Springs. This moving story about emotions, empathy, love and loss is built very solidly on a well written script, very well developed characters, an intriguing story and very moving moments. Unlike DONTNOD's Life is Strange 2 that starts in a forced and sudden way, True Colors takes its time, is patient and shows its nuances little by little, at the right moment to tell its story. Unfortunately, everything that makes Life is Strange: True Colors great is overshadowed by an overwhelming technical deficiency on the Nintendo Switch, something that leaves me with a bittersweet taste. It is a fine game that should not be played on the Nintendo Switch.

An unworthy successor, Hotline Miami 2 is plagued with bugs, baffling level design, lackluster story, gimmick characters and illogical decisions, only redeemed by a splendid soundtrack, level creator and the solid foundations of the original.

Concord has a solid foundation and interesting ideas; however, its bland cast of characters and lack of innovation make it a generic and unappealing hero shooter destined to fail, especially considering its $40 USD price tag. It's not a bad game, but is something much worse: an unnecessary product that fails to understand the market it competes in. Simply put, there are better and more enjoyable free alternatives out there

Despite a huge open world, almost the entire United States territory, The Crew lacks in the replay value of its multiplayer, a story full of cliches and not so next-gen graphics. The game has its good moments with scripted events during missions, but after a while, they become boring and repetitive. If you love to drive for hours exploring, doing random events and looking to outrun the police from time to time, this game might be for you, otherwise stay away from it.

Mothmen 1966 brings us closer to the past by portraying the architecture of old computers and bringing the pulp genre to life. The sci-fi story grabs you from the start if you are willing to give in and ignore the lack of interaction.

Having the opportunity to get this collection for Nintendo Switch, and being able to live out the story of Max and Chloe anytime and anywhere is highly recommended. However, we believe that Square Enix was able to even further polish and improve the game by taking advantage of the unique possibilities that the console has to offer.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris had the potential to be a standout game with a dynamic battle system and good RPG mechanics. However, the pacing is agonizingly slow and has unforgivable technical issues. Sadly, it’s only recommended for fans of the series or players with maximum patience.

For Honor has the best, most innovative and rewarding combat system we have seen in years. However, the whole experience is crippled by poorly-designed game modes and progression schemes; a broken matchmaking system and online instability. It's best to avoid it for now and wait a few months until the developer can fix its problems.

F1 2014 doesn't bring anything new to the table with this year's game. To be honest, it feels like F1 2013, just with a couple of small changes that only hardcore fans would notice. New cars, new circuits and a new difficulty setting are the new features. Graphics look really bad, specially compared to other games in next-gen consoles. Only F1 lovers should give this game a try.

Finally, WWE 2K17 is here for current and last generation consoles. The lack of Showcase mode gave the chance to My Career to shine on its own, but instead, showed how badly prepared this mode is compared with other sports games. On the other hand, the game mechanics are slower, hurting overall and experience that need an urgent evolution so the franchise can feel fresh. WWE 2K17 must be taken as a lesson of how a wrestling game should not be.

Without a story or a proper introduction, Wasteland Workshop feels a bit thin. The traps and the arena concepts are fun, but everything else gets lost in the already complex repertoire and, in the end, the whole package seems disjointed. Good thing this DLC is a cheap one.

Sword Art Online may not be the game fans deserve, but it is at least a nice iteration that they will enjoy. It does not have the greatest game mechanics but its simplicity should appeal to those curious players that would like to taste this game. You will give it a try for the main campaign but stay for the multiplayer experience.

Yo-Kai Watch 2 works great for someone that never played the first iteration; however, those who did will receive the same experience with no new game mechanics or elements that provide a different feeling. Whit no animation upgrades and a corny narrative, Yo-Kai Watch 2 is an RPG that took one step forward and two —or maybe three— steps back by not contributing with something fresh.

Gundam Reborn is some kind of remake of the previous titles of the series. It's awesome to play once again with Mobile Suits, but the fact is that the game looks and plays almost like the first title of the saga, it makes you think if Tecmo Koei just reskinned it.

A good game doesn't have to be carefully crafted to be entertaining. As Fuel Overdose demonstrates, sometimes the fun comes from the design mistakes. As a top down racing experience it offers frenetic action at the expense of constant control issues and glitches that promise frustration, but even though the chaos ensures a sense of pleasure since you can mess with everything, everywhere. Sadly, character design and presentation are kind of archaic.

Although it was presented to the world as a fighting game, Jump Force ended up eclipsing and sabotaging its proposal by hiding it behind a series of bad implementations, design problems and little or no attention in key areas. Yes, underneath all this is that funny proposal that manages to shine at important moments, but even there are weight problems that end up leaving a more sour than sweet flavor.

PaRappa the Rapper is a legend, but even legendary status doesn’t prevents its latest remaster from being a let down. The charm is still there in the music and its visuals, the problem comes with the archaic mechanics and some technical issues. If only Sony would have went beyond the graphic remaster, maybe the game could have fulfilled our nostalgic expectations.

The Isle of Armor is an expansion that does things right, but in the end it feels like an underwhelming experience. The main story leaves a lot to be desired and I can't help but think that some of its improvements should be on the base game.
