Halo 5: Guardians is an entertaining action adventure whose fate rests on whether the online mode works or not (still to early to raise the green flag). Besides that, it's a really well made Halo game. The graphics are detailed, and the frame rate is smoother that ever. The campaign is solid enough, but lacks those memorable moments that defined the first couple of games in the series.- Level7.nu

By taking a step away from hours of cutscenes and codec conversation, and instead focusing on pure gameplay, Metal Gear Solid V is an unfamiliar but ultimately great and lengthy experience. It would have been nice with some more time spent on the characters and story, but it is a fair compromise with the new open world direction. Metal Gear Solid V is a great evolution for the series and it is a shame that the new direction will not reach its full potential due to Konami's probable withdrawal from the console world.- Level7.nu

A collection with the sex Mega Man games for NES made available for the latest consoles is a great deed. The restoration has been cautious and the games are thus unchanged, which unfortunately means that the the flaws that existed 20 years ago persist today, like choppy frame rate when too many enemies are on the screen. A nice new feature is the challenge mode, which is insanely addictive. However, it feels stingy to not get a bigger collection, given that previous collections contained clearly more titles.- Level7.nu

When N + was released in 2008, it was very well received because of the cruel, yet fair difficulty. The concept is still intact in the sequel: extremely hard micro courses that demands nothing but perfection from the player. Over 2,000 tracks are available which is an impressive amount, however this is also the games biggest problem. The sense of repetition is palpable and it's relatively easy to get bored. Japanese art in the shape of a pop up-book combined with semi-challenging puzzles did seem quite appealing, based on screenshots. But in spite a wonderfully atmospheric soundtrack and all the creativity the visuals boast, Tengami falls a little bit short. The game is completed within two hours, similar to That game company's modern classic Journey. But what it lacks is a sense of progression and a reason to play. Also, there isn't enough content - just when you think you will finally start experiencing the game, it ends. The HD Edition of Heroes of Might & Magic III introduces some graphical improvements but lacks the modernized user interface introduced to the original game through mods. It is still as enjoyable and time-consuming as ever but for those not opting for the Ios version the Complete Edition has the better content value.- Level7.nu

Gunman Clive 2 is a traditional sequel. As with its predecessor, the stages are short, but intense. The graphics uses more color, but the platforming has also changed properly. Traces of both Super Mario Galaxy and Uncharted are able to spot. With just a little more experimenting could Gunman Clive 2 have been an unforgettable gem.- Level7.nu

Life is Strange oozes potential. The female portraits are unexpectedly fresh, the basic concept originally formulated by Telltale still excites and the rewind mechanic is interesting. At the same time, it is also the game's biggest weakness, because it diminishes the impact of the choices made. Nevertheless it will still be exciting to follow the rest of the season.- Level7.nu

#IDARB gives us the answer to what happens when the whole Internet gets to play game designer. The result is an inviting and simplistic e-sport with unexpected depth of play. Unfortunately multiple players is a must to enjoy the game. However the support for up to eight players, if enough controllers were available, makes this a guaranteed hit and one of greatest multiplayer experiences on the Xbox One. Perfect for a game night with friends.- Level7.nu

Daedalic has managed to make an already interesting game a bit better. Sadly, Blackguards 2 still has a long way to go. Mostly because of a monotonous feeling and a poorly written story. However, the battle system is really good.- Level7.nu

Dying Light is a zombie game that doesn't really add anything new to the genre. Sure, the parkour mechanics and the night/day cycle feels a bit fresh, but for the most part it's just Dead Island all over again. And just like that game, Dying Light is filled with stupid mission design and comes with an overall unpolished feeling.- Level7.nu

Even though the adventure genre nowadays is filled with great games, Grim Fandango feels almost as good as it did 1998. The remastered version has some technical flaws that should’ve been taken care of and the puzzles aren’t always on top, but besides that this is a game that no one should miss. Easily one of the best adventures of all time.- Level7.nu

Elite: Dangerous offers a vast and remarkably authentic galaxy with magnificent views to explore. Sadly it feels somewhat desolate with only artificial life. In combination with often repetitive tasks this might alienate some but space enthusiasts. Still it can be quite addictive and will hopefully grow with future expansions.- Level7.nu

Saints Row IV puts the pedal to the metal from minute one and offers an exaggerated, silly and entertaining adventure - if you are in the right mood. The game has received a much-needed technical upgrade that improves the graphics and gameplay, but there are still some rough corners like bland graphics and an uneven framerate. Annoying problems, although they do not prevent Saints Row 4 Re-elected from entertaining greatly.- Level7.nu

After almost 20 years the first Resident Evil is still a masterpiece, and a must-have for everyone that likes a really good survival horror. However, Capcom could have put more energy into this remake, especially into the backgrounds and into some horrible looking cut scenes.- Level7.nu

Scrolls may not be the next Minecraft for Mojang but it proves that the studio still has got a pretty unique way of thinking. The best part of Scrolls is the way that it combines a traditional board game with a digital card game. Everyone that enjoyed Hearthstone should take a closer look.- Level7.nu

This War of Mine focuses on civilians rather than armed soldiers. It is extremely refreshing even though the game shows the dreadful constituents of war. With a dense atmosphere and an impressive depth, this is one of the decade's most important cultural experiences.- Level7.nu

With Fantasia: Music Evolved Harmonix delivers a great mix of music and dancing games. To fill the screen with fireworks and music by waving your arms is incredibly fun and addicting. Unfortunately Kinect is not always reliable and you will regularly miss notes for no reason. Luckily that does not prevent Fantasia from being one of the best Kinect games so far.- Level7.nu
