Insomniac Games is obviously doing something else, like PS4's new Spider Man, and this Song of the Deep feels second-tier in every aspect, from its visuals -not to be confused with art- to the combat segments and puzzles, nothing we haven't seen already and underwater levels. Even so, in the background there is a nice story that makes you keep moving forward through it's not so lengthy gameplay.- LaPS4

Furi won't appeal to a wide range of gamers due to its above-average difficulty. However, we're eager to see more from this team that brings us their first PS4 game.- LaPS4

As with Resident Evil 6's remaster, Resident Evil 5 adopts 1080p and 60fps (almost always) successfully. Always keeping in mind that it is a game launched in 2009 and it's gameplay mechanics are kind of dated, it can be a good game for those who love non-stop action. There is no survival horror moments, but enough content to be entertained for quite some hours and high-end production values.- LaPS4

Grand Kingdom is a great tactics game that demands patience because it isn't an easy one, has many options and a not-so-easy-to-handle progression curve. It's complex gameplay mechanics might make the less patient players abandon it.- LaPS4

The LEGO games aren’t interesting today. There are too many titles by TT Games. But Star Wars is a very strong brand, and you will want to discover this new content from The Force Awakens. The game has 200 characters, new shooter mechanics, spaceships battles and a lot of secrets. But it has no surprises.- LaPS4

To be honest, we expected much more from this game. A boring plot and characters you don't care about, along with stiff gameplay mechanics, make this a game for fans only. Not a good choice if you want to start with JRPGs.- LaPS4

Vanillaware signs a great remaster, with a superb work both in the artistic and sound fields. Many gameplay hours and enjoyable fights hide several minor issues and make Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir a game you should pay attention to, whether or not you're a fan of the studio.- LaPS4

This is one of the most obvious times that a game just tries to capitalize on what you could call the 'nostalgia factor'. It doesn't offer anything you couldn't see in any of the earlier Mega man games and it isn't even more enjoyable than any of the classic games. Just a failed product.- LaPS4

The best thing that can be said about Umbrella Corps is that it isn't as bad as it looked, which wasn't actually really hard. Several mistakes in its gameplay mechanics turn interesting ideas into something tedious and repetitive.- LaPS4

Blood & Wine is the perfect closure to a perfect game. A humongous DLC, with an absorbent plot and many, many things that you will want to do. Get involved with the Wolf's last adventure, but do it with enough spare time, since you will be playing non stop for many hours. I swear upon the heron.- LaPS4

Those who haven't played Dead Island or its sequel can do it now the best way possible, with all the DLC content and Retro Revenge as an interesting bonus. The franchise still has some technical issues, but with so many hours of gameplay and the visual enhancements of this remaster, Definitive Collection is really an interesting game.- LaPS4

Mirror's Edge Catalyst doesn't surprise anymore. Clean aesthetics and fluent, chained parkour movements are still there, although EA DICE decided to develop a sandbox game. If you are a fan, you won't see many differences and you will see some debatable design choices. If you haven't played the first one, give Catalyst the chance to surprise you.- LaPS4

Even though it's not One Piece's first game, it is as a PS4 game and the feeling can't be better. It lacks story content, which revolves around Marineford's story arc, and really simple scenarios. Visually, it looks really like Pirate Warriors, although an enhanced modelling of the characters, really fluid and with no framerate drops, make it look closer to the manga.- LaPS4

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has seen better days. Platinum Games had no money for this TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan. The combat fails completely and only the final bosses are good and charismatic. In addition, this game has a very high price.- LaPS4

Overwatch needs more content. Right now the game does not justify its price although we know Blizzard will expand it. This hero shooter maintains a perfect balance of gameplay and it has charismatic characters, but perhaps its sales model has not been adequate.- LaPS4

Homefront: The Revolution is a game that dwells around missed opportunists and it has some poorly-executed ideas. Dambuster Studio needs more time, staff and money to succeed in what they have tried. Only the most patient ones will have their reward, as the enjoyable parts come late.- LaPS4

Far Harbor puts an end to Fallout 4, at least until the arrival of mods to console versions next month. A wide map to explore, a nice array of new gear and missions, the fog is calling for us and we will come to see what is hiding inside.- LaPS4

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered brings us one of the most underappreciated games when it came out to Playstation 3 in 2008. It's way to tell a story stand out of the usual, focusing on the customization options both in and outside of the battlefield. A nice price tag, all the DLCs, 1080p visuals and 60fps invite us to play it at least once.- LaPS4

Doom is a '90s game made in 2016. It's campaign is, plain and simple, lots of fun, as long as you can keep up with its innumerable battle arenas and its gameplay mechanics, based on movement, pure speed and rhythm. Its multiplayer options lack work and don't depend as much on player skills, although the SnapMap mode leverages it, thanks to its almost infinite edition and creation options. This amounts to an all-around game, especially made for players that grew up with FPS games a long time ago.- LaPS4

Telltale puts one of the most well-known characters of the original plot as the main character of this spin-off. Even with some great moments as well as a nice general scheme, it feels like a lost chance to offer something really important, although few players were expecting The Walking Dead: Michonne to be something new. Even so, Michonne is charismatic enough to keep you interested all the way through the three chapters, being the most valuable asset of the game.- LaPS4

Gearbox's new game is weighed down by a lack of starting content and its campaign feels repetitive, although the different gameplay mechanics when using all of the 25 characters available, good matchmaking and the stability when you put it all together make an all-round game. It leaves you thinking that there are very few maps, although the competitive modes are really addictive and enjoyable once you understand the rules. Playing always online can be a negative for some, but when you manage to put together a committed team who want to wreak havoc, you can have a great time.- LaPS4

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is the first great gift by Naughty Dog to the PS4 users. But it's also for you, Uncharted fan, who now reads these lines after years following the exciting adventures of the "descendant" of Sir Francis Drake. This generation really begins with Uncharted 4, because this game is what everyone was expecting. It's technically excellent, it's what's really required for this console. The grand finale for one of the best PlayStation franchises.- LaPS4

Housemarque placed their bet: all-in for an action loaded, restless game, with enjoyable and interesting co-op options that would make it impossible to not enjoy many hours in this shootout frenzy with very bad aliens. It may not look original, but that feeling of playing an arcade in your living room and its visuals will make you forget about it really quickly.- LaPS4

Randal's Monday is amazing because of its extreme classicism. Mind-puzzling riddles and PC controls feel a little bit out of place in PS4, although its script is funny and it has a superb dubbing work. Nexus Games Studios paves their way as indie developers with irregular tiles, but they are a team we should keep track of in their next projects.- LaPS4

Pang Adventures is an expensive title on PS4. It's preferable to buy it on mobile devices. The classic gameplay returns. You will miss more content. The final bosses or the new weapons can be good ideas, but the overall result is poor. You can see that it's not too budgeted.- LaPS4

Ratchet & Clank amuses with its great tech and gameplay mechanics which are so nostalgic yet enjoyable and full of nods. Both franchise veterans and newcomers will find a must-have to understand today's platform and action genre on PlayStation. A great example of how to do a remake, showing also how to make a game based on a movie.- LaPS4

Miyazaki did it again. With nothing new but using its successful formula, Dark Souls III becomes the best entry in the franchise and a serious contender for Game of the Year. If you're a fan of the franchise or have played any of its entries once, you will love this game more than you could imagine. From Software has created a true homage to its players.- LaPS4

Resident Evil 6 looks great running at 1080p and 60 FPS. Capcom's game comes fully loaded, with all of its content available from the very beginning, which guarantees many non-stop hours of fun. Probably not the best game of the series and it doesn't offer any changes besides the visuals, but it offers action and enjoyment without complications, being the most ambitious Resident Evil entry in the franchise.- LaPS4
