    If you enjoy a challenge and some classic old-school arcade action, you can’t go wrong with Pang Adventures. Just watch out for the bouts of imminent Rage Quit.

    In keeping with the spirit of the nearly three decade old original, Pang Adventures entertains with its easy to grasp, difficult to master shooter sensibilities. While the broad repetition of mechanics and lack of online play and truly new content will surely grate, Pang Adventure remains decent fodder for a quick session whenever you have the odd few minutes to spare for its classic arcade beats.

    Pastagames has made a great job rejuvenating an old classic game. Pang Adventures looks good, plays well and will definitely appeal to arcade lovers, especially with its coop mode.

    Similar to the classic arcade, but worse due the changes and modifications included, that doesn't hit the balloon correctly.

    Pang Adventures is an expensive title on PS4. It's preferable to buy it on mobile devices. The classic gameplay returns. You will miss more content. The final bosses or the new weapons can be good ideas, but the overall result is poor. You can see that it's not too budgeted.

    When played with a friend, some of its issues become easier to overlook, but the fact still remains that those hoping for a triumphant return will be left disappointed by this rather one-dimensional arcade rehash.

    The introduction of boss fights fits surprisingly well in the game, the new lightning bubbles are also a great addition.

    If I had a mild criticism, it is that some of the menus on tour mode are a bit fiddly to nagivate when trying to go for the score stamps, and the loading screen music is unusually load compared to the rest of the soundtrack. If you are a fan of the previous games like I am, this is an essential purchase.

    I wasn't expecting to enjoy this game especially since it has been developed by a different developer, but I bought it on sale and was very surprised.

    A must buy for any Pang fan.

    PS The soundtrack is fantastic!!! The final stage "Asteroid P4N6" has one of the coolest tracks I've heard in a game since Super Stardust's "Lave"    … Expand

    I have bought this game because I am a retro-gaming enthusiast but to be honest I was a bit skeptical about it.
    Pang was a good game in arcade, but it had a lot of limitations, so I was afraid to just find the same old game only with new graphics.
    But in the end it is a brand new game in the series and it brings much needed game elements to the series! I won't make the list here of all the new features (bosses, flame thrower, ninja stars...) check on the internet guys. What I can say it is that the graphics are great , the music reminds me of Hotline Miami, and the challenge is real.

    I thought I would play this game for just 2 or 3 hours, but in the end I play with my girlfriend and my friends because it is immediately understandable and fun!

    Finally there is a global leader-board and I now I will spend a lot of time trying to put my name among the highscores.

The new additions like lightning/lava/armoured balls and the new weapons are interesting. On the negative side the boss fights are either too many or too uninspired, except for the final boss and once the campaign is finished (and it's not very long) there is nothing much to do unless you are a hardcore arcade gamer and enjoy the insane challenge of the two extra modes.… Expand
