Do not rely on the first few minutes of play which make it look very naive, as you risk missing out on a beautiful and touching story.- Jeuxvideo.com

A charming surprise and should mark the genre of adventure game thanks to the quality of the writing, the few mechanics borrowed from RPGs, the possibility of playing as a duo and its accessibility.- Jeuxvideo.com

A very, very traditional musô ... but nevertheless successful. Admittedly, its cel-shadding remains an obvious make-up for a dated technique, but it also causes a reinforced Japanese atmosphere and some appreciable graphic effects; Likewise, the repetitiveness of its missions is an obvious black point but is compensated by a diversity of characters and interesting gameplay, and this despite the criticized reduction of its cast.- Jeuxvideo.com

With absolutely sublime pixel art, lively and enjoyable gameplay all of its own as well as a dozen successful bosses and a nice replayability, it's hard to fault Eldest Souls. If you like demanding action games, you are going to be served. Maybe a little too much. To be choosy, we can say that the Fallen Flag studio is sometimes a little too happy on the difficulty.- Jeuxvideo.com

With Marvel Future Revolution, Netmarble has given itself the means to achieve its ambitions. Pushed graphics for mobile, dynamic gameplay, mechanics of numerous evolutions, dimension MMO and open zones ... The title wants to exceed the limits of its support to the point of being particularly greedy in terms of resources and battery. If the title has something to keep players in suspense thanks to its content, once the "whaoww" effect is exceeded, we are a little more cooled by the progress at times tedious and the overload of menus which make the experience less pleasant to browse. It remains to be seen whether the game will be entitled to a follow-up as exemplary as that of Marvel Future Fight to become in turn one of the essential Marvel games on mobile.- Jeuxvideo.com

Lemnis Gate is a clever and damn well-designed game. Emphasizing tactical choices over pure skill, this original turn-based shooter impresses. Its successful concept mixing FPS and time loops gives rise to refreshing clashes. Too bad some of its content neglects strategy in favor of less interesting direct confrontations. Hopefully his already sparse player base doesn't dwindle too quickly, as Lemnis Gate follows through on his excellent concept.- Jeuxvideo.com

If Riders Republic may disappoint Steep fans (the title goes against the spirit of the game of 2016), this new production remains a must for all thrill seekers. With its many playable sports disciplines, starting with the bike which offers exhilarating sensations, its exotic world and its many modes available both solo and online, the latest production from Ubisoft Annecy will undoubtedly keep you busy for the long haul.- Jeuxvideo.com

By its proposal, Duel Master clearly distinguishes itself from Duel Links, the other free-to-play in the universe of Yu-Gi-Oh!. By focusing solely on the playing card game, the title offers a very complete experience with official rules and a huge collection of cards on all media thanks to cross-platform.- Jeuxvideo.com

More meditative than contemplative, FAR: Changing Tides is an invitation to tranquility, so assertive that it sometimes becomes sluggish. Between the long crossings, moments of grace maintain the interest of the experience, translated by intuitive puzzles and sound design at its peak.- Jeuxvideo.com

If it hasn't drastically changed its gameplay, WWE 2K22 is almost a reboot in its visual rendering and with the incorporation of the My MG mode. The latter is a good surprise, leads us to manage a stable of stars and a schedule of shows without being too complex, a successful bet. Technically, the latest generation of consoles holds its own and avoids the pitfall of WWE 2K20's many bugs, even if some loading times are long. In short, if this last opus could have been deeper in terms of staging, it delights in its lifespan thanks to an XXL roster, realistic in the animations without being polluted by the less vital virtual currency than in NBA 2K. A spectacular and versatile title, like the cover star Rey Mysterio.- Jeuxvideo.com

The player also has the possibility of settling the challenge at his convenience and at any time. Another very good point that allows you to appreciate in all circumstances the universe of Young Souls, which has been the subject of very special care despite a writing that is ultimately quite perfectible.- Jeuxvideo.com

Demanding without ever being totally off-putting or daunting, Souldiers is highly recommended for all fans of pixel art metroidvania platform action games. Its deliciously retro artistic direction is far from being the only one of its qualities since the game also knows how to renew itself intelligently by offering no less than 3 radically distinct character classes and gigantic maps full of secrets.- Jeuxvideo.com

In its way of transforming the fast FPS into a raging rhythm game, thanks to the support of an impeccable soundtrack, Metal: Hellsinger gave us a few hours of pure adrenaline. The gameplay loop is mastered, the instinctive handling and the multiple levels of difficulty allow you to create an à la carte experience. The fact remains that the content is a little too light, since we will complete the main campaign in 5 to 6 hours depending on the desired challenge. The challenges, however, allow you to extend the lifespan, but it is above all the interest in scoring and the desire to climb the world rankings that will allow you, or not, to play Metal: Hellsinger for more than 10 hours. As it is, it's still an experience to try if you like "Doom Like" and big guitar riffs.- Jeuxvideo.com

Generous in its narration as in its gameplay, Banishers firstly offers a level of writing which without any harm maintains the good reputation of Don'tnod in the matter, offering multiple narrative arcs with striking choices which consolidate all the coherence of the 'universe. At first a little summary, the clashes benefit from an exhilarating evolution, enabled by a concise skill tree and a natural progression of the characters, very complementary on the ground. We also retain certain lengths, marked by dispensable intrigues, a slow increase in the power of the gameplay and a somewhat frustrating research part.- Jeuxvideo.com

MLB The Show's 2021 vintage isn't a strike out, far from it. The title of Sony San Diego does not revolutionize its formula, but refines it in depth, from the more readable interface to the new very complete stadium editor, including the addition of the cross-platform and a perfect cloud backup. The heart of the game is still beating strong, namely a very faithful transcription of the major leagues by adding dynamism and variety in the realization to the clear and customizable gameplay.- Jeuxvideo.com

Inspired by the greatest, Limbo and Ori and the Blind Forest to name a few, Unbound: Worlds Apart delivers a fun adventure that will keep you busy for a weekend. In particular, it offers small puzzles as well as various platform phases that are pleasant to navigate, at least initially. The rest is much less inspired, the fault of an artistic direction less and less convincing and a level-design incompatible with the different skills that Soli, our hero, accumulates as he progresses.- Jeuxvideo.com

While the latest titles in the PGA Tour license left us a little hungry, 2K21 being too classic and 2K23 not very ergonomic, PGA Tour 2K25 manages to enchant with its Career mode. The latter is very complete, leaving an exhilarating feeling of progression throughout the season with marketing choices, calendar, equipment and skill points finally completed. The most discerning will say that NBA 2K lacks an open world, but it is clear that there has been progress this year also in online games. The fully customizable gameplay is still as precise in approaches or putts. Enough to live a great experience for any fan of golf or the saga.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Cowabunga Collection frankly lives up to the expectations placed on it. Despite its status as a “simple” compilation, the work of the Digital Eclipse studio is a lesson for all publishers who bring out the old things of the past. If the 13 games do not show the same interest, we can only bow to the avalanche of options and bonuses integrated into this compilation. Admittedly, some productions have aged and the lifespan is not enormous, but the user-friendliness is there and in the field of compilations, this Cowabunga Collection holds the dragee high for the tenors of the genre. In such conditions, it is difficult not to be seduced.- Jeuxvideo.com
