Creature in the Well inovates in many ways, and has a great atmosphere. But the game is damn tough and will discourage many players.- Jeuxvideo.com

Unsurprisingly, this next-gen version of WRC 9 perfectly exploits the possibilities of the SSD with very short loading times and active functions allowing you to go faster to game modes.- Jeuxvideo.com

Tinykin brilliantly revisits the "Pikmin-like" by successfully adapting it to the platform game with puzzle-game inclinations. A true invitation to explore, one can only be fascinated by the incredible microscopic universe imagined by the Splashteam. Generous, teeming with details, full of humour, the Tinykin adventure will appeal to young and old alike. We want more!- Jeuxvideo.com

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game was a Beat'em Up classic in 2010, and the Beat'em Up hasn't aged a bit over the past decade. The Complete Edition is generous in content, inspires fans of the genre to outdo themselves in a full-bodied experience, and remains punchy with its extremely well-thought-out combat system.- Jeuxvideo.com

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was cool last year, and it is still good fun in 2018 on Switch. The only noticeable flaw is that the game never reaches 1080p even on a proper TV screen.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Bearded Ladies signs a winning return to the Tactical-RPG genre after the potential trial run Mutant Year Zero. Miasma Chronicles retains the same formula in gameplay, namely a title combining RPG, Xcom-style strategy and even infiltration to make the task easier in combat. The scenario, the characters, the graphics and the sound form an organic universe largely at the level to make the game one of the beautiful surprises of the year 2023. There remain a few imperfections (camera, difficulty, etc.) to be corrected so that the Swedish studio establishes itself as the leader of the genre for the rest of its adventures.- Jeuxvideo.com

Without being perfect, Narita Boy offers a pleasant neo-retro ride. Visually sublime, it manages to push the codes inherited from the 80s further than a few games before it.- Jeuxvideo.com

A psychological thriller that successfully mixes cinema, videogames and virtual reality. Transference has a thrilling and sufocating atmosphere. Unfortunately, even if it's a narrative success, the game lacks freedom and feels too short.- Jeuxvideo.com

Clearly, Starlink: Battle for Atlas is repetitive and its storytelling is more than conventional. But the dogfight and the big open world are just so much fun. A good addition to the toys/video games cross-over.- Jeuxvideo.com

FIFA 23 was undoubtedly the most complete title in the saga under the old name, and EA Sports FC 24 goes a little further despite the name change. If the title does not really move the furniture in the Career modes (whether manager or player), it drastically increases the variety of the Ultimate Team mode by adding women's football maps or the principle of evolving maps. We will especially appreciate the well-revised gameplay compared to last season, with deep races and advantageous fast players, but a fairly clever construction and pressing system. Also note, the change in visual identity of the menus, some additions of stadiums like that of Lille to properly launch the EA Sports FC lineage.- Jeuxvideo.com

Pokémon Legends Z-A isn't the game that was hoped for. It innovates in terms of combat, but remains too timid when it comes to exploration. Its universe, focused on the city of Illumis, limits the desire for adventure, even if its combat system finally paves the way for a new generation of Pokémon gameplay. Trainers looking for a breath of fresh air will find it a solid and enjoyable title. Pokémon Legends Z-A releases on October 16th on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and should appeal to those who want to test their trainer's reflexes in a brand new arena. And those who still love the franchise's evolutions and captures.- Jeuxvideo.com

id Software delivers a memorable conclusion to the Doom Slayer epic. By erasing the flaws of the previous expansion, Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part II offers the most complete games of the series. The new enemies are integrated very well and create new well thought out challenges. Apart from its lifespan, which can be explained by its release model, this new content has nothing to envy to the base game and closes the saga of the Doom Slayer with panache.- Jeuxvideo.com

Its staging has steadily transported us, while its cleverly designed boss fights have us fully engaged. Only, by the time we have fully assimilated its mechanics, Olija has stopped. As soon as the last gear is unlocked, the end credits take us back from the gaming systems that were only waiting for a final level to shine brightly. We would have liked to be able to test our abilities in one final twisted climb, defending ourselves from an ambush with uncertain outcome or in a final duel at the top like Genishiro Ashina de Sekiro.- Jeuxvideo.com

Even though we find the same graphic style and some familiar areas, we feel a slight lack of artistic risk-taking, a somewhat recycled bestiary and menus that haven't changed one iota. On the gameplay side, class balancing still needs adjustments and world events like raids, rare terrains or cataclysms remain too rare to permanently break the routine. The communication system boils down to a ping that isn't always precise, and attempting the adventure solo borders on a feat, given the high difficulty and the need for a cohesive team. However, the game manages to create a strong addiction: even when a run turns into a disaster, we want to try our luck again to take advantage of our character's progression curve and the pride of defeating a boss. Nightreign won't appeal to all players, its severity and small flaws may frustrate more than a few, but it brings a breath of fresh air to the studio. It's a good start, we'll say.- Jeuxvideo.com

While the 2021 edition had more than conquered us, the 2022 season of MLB The Show is still a success... but will not bring as much interest. Perfect gateway to baseball games for anyone who loves the sport and knows its rules, the Sony IE title will not make a regular in the saga jump out of his chair, and that's the only big downside: the lack of new game modes. For the rest, the modeling of the greatest bat and ball stars is impeccable, the lifespan striking with a gameplay always accessible to newcomers. But be careful, you still have to know the sport.- Jeuxvideo.com
