In the end, we are very happy with the experience, but it is less striking than that of Bastion des Ombres or Renegades.

Pacific Drive must be given the time it deserves to understand its myriad parameters and be able to appreciate them properly. But the atmosphere and the special relationship you create with the car really elevate the experience to a thoroughly enjoyable level. Naturally striking with its attractive concept, Ironwood Studios' game compensates for a redundant gameplay loop with a unique character.

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story isn't reinventing the wheel, that's for sure. However, its solid game systems make it quite a recommendable RPG, especially for LoL fans. They will be able to appreciate the reinterpretation of their favorite universe by Airship Syndicate and Joe Madureira. And while we regret a somewhat conventional writing that sometimes lacks subtlety, we appreciate being able to immerse ourselves in the alleys of Bilgewater and the Dark Isles in the company of charismatic champions.

With its scrupulous respect for the rules of D&D, its obvious love of tabletop role-playing, its very complete character creation sheet and its combat as tactical as it is fun, Solasta: Crown of the Magister is a very ambitious game produced by a team. with modest dimensions. And if this modesty is felt in the lackluster chara design, the linear story or a not always impeccable realization, it is absolutely not the case of the fights, vertical, deep and dense, which constitute the bulk of Solasta, which offers a premium tactical RPG experience, able to delight fans of the genre and why not invite laymen to try it, which should keep them occupied for a good thirty hours.

Just one more Metroidvania? Not really. Blasphemous has its own thing, with its grim, gloomy atmosphere and tight combats. We could have used some more save points though.

Redundant and not very rhythmic, it risks leaving some players on the floor. But still, thanks to its engaging universe and its ingenious combat system, the game holds up well.

With its third episode, The Council is touching greatness. Many decisive choices and revelations, more freedom… It’s a shame the framerate is so bouncy, to say the least, but Big Bad Wolf is proving itself with Ripples.

Despite some obvious flaws (especially in the combat department), Hell is Us is a good action-adventure game that shines particularly brightly thanks to its atmosphere and its ability to surprise the player. Rogue Factor has managed to create a rather unique blend of exploration, action, and puzzles, supported by a technique that commands respect. In short, if you're looking for a game at the crossroads of the genre, we recommend it. Be careful, however, if you have high expectations in terms of action-RPG or puzzles.

The PC version of Space Junkies benefits from a well-balanced experience and great controls. There’s no bots and its content is limited, but if you’re looking from a competitive VR FPS, give Space Junkies a try.

That Switch version of Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition is a good way to play the game if you haven’t done it yet. You can feel at times how old it is but it’s still a good game, in 2019.

If you're tired of going around in circles on the twelve tracks of WipEout HD and its Fury expansion or if you're just a thrill-seeker, Pacer is for you. Even if it does not manage to overtake the master, it will charm you with its inspired artistic direction, its substantial content or its sensations of speed. But you have been warned, while R8 Games' production has many qualities, the title also delivers many shortcomings. The handling of the game lacks precision, especially in the highest difficulties where it will necessarily be necessary to play double airbrakes to hope to escape unscathed, the HUD is particularly intrusive and the menus are not very ergonomic.

Still There is a truly convincing narrative experience that features a surprising and ambivalent story, filled with light and dramatic events, but scatterred with some challenging puzzles that artificially extend the adventure.

At first, Jonas Manke, with Omno, takes a seductive initiatory journey that we love to discover. Exploring this colorful universe offering pretty panoramas and inhabited by curious animals is a pleasure at all times, especially if our hero has all the possible improvements. But at first, the player must necessarily deal with a more capricious gameplay, with strange inertia, and face a formula that is struggling to renew itself.

Just like Splatoon, Arms' dynamic gameplay is geared towards online multiplayer. Behind its funny and colorful looks, the game is highly technical and offers various game modes to master.

11-11 Memories Retold focuses on two different fates and is more intimist than Valiant Hearts: the Great War. It takes some distance with historic reality to tell a well written and luminous tale. Maybe too luminous, though.

While we felt a real leap forward between the 2022 and 2023 installments, the progression is much less dazzling this season with NBA 2K25. Only the most regular players of the license will be able to see certain new animations and the fine new features of a gameplay that is not revolutionary. The fact remains that the title is largely at the level of its generation, and is finally progressing on its usually shaky matchmaking with a few parades (the online Proving Ground mode). For those discovering the game, NBA 2K25 is a real gold mine, with single-player content further expanded with the Curry era for the My NBA mode and other immersive additions. The shadow on the board remains the micro-transaction system (VC) in individual marking of the wallet, essential to progress properly.

Once upon a time there was a little hero who, wanting to be appreciated by all, arranged himself in the manner of the lords of his time. Charming as a prince, he invented specialties with eloquence, “a mind as sharp as a fist” he promised. But behind his pleasant features, our adventurer had a hard time hiding his limits. “Stop trying to swell up, or you will die” a lady who saw through his game said to him. That day, he understood: if he did not become a new revered ambassador, he would remain this valiant little esteemed page.

If you've already fallen for Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty! in 2014 or 2015, be aware that there is no need to go to the cash register again. The Oddworld Inhabitants remake is in every way similar to the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. We therefore find the same qualities as well as the same defects. However, if you're discovering the license today, we strongly recommend this version, since the title gains in flexibility thanks to the arrival of an addition of size, the nomadic side of the console which fits perfectly with the spirit of the Die & Retry title.
