By leveraging aerial multiplayer dragon-back combat, Century of Ashes dusted off the genre and proves that free-to-play can be ambitious. Visually stunning and blessed with excellent artistic direction, he is only entering the dawn of his career, but enjoying fun fashions, charismatic characters and majestic dragons. Without pushing to buy, the game is counting on its community to grow and the future looks so bright that we want to follow its course carefully.- Jeuxvideo.com

This Switch version of Dragon’s Dogma : Dark Arisen has no reason to be ashamed at how it compares to the Xbox One / PlayStation 4 versions. More enjoyable when the Switch is in TV mode, it’s an old but still a very good game.- Jeuxvideo.com

If it hasn't drastically changed its gameplay, WWE 2K22 is almost a reboot in its visual rendering and with the incorporation of the My MG mode. The latter is a good surprise, leads us to manage a stable of stars and a schedule of shows without being too complex, a successful bet. Technically, the latest generation of consoles holds its own and avoids the pitfall of WWE 2K20's many bugs, even if some loading times are long. In short, if this last opus could have been deeper in terms of staging, it delights in its lifespan thanks to an XXL roster, realistic in the animations without being polluted by the less vital virtual currency than in NBA 2K. A spectacular and versatile title, like the cover star Rey Mysterio.- Jeuxvideo.com

Ride 3 is better than the previous entry in the franchise, in all respects. Moto handling is good and content amount is huge. Unfortunately, there is no local multiplayer to compete with friends and online MP deserves more work. Plus, the game's tracks are still a bit empty sometimes.- Jeuxvideo.com

Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred is a good expansion for Diablo 4. It doesn't revolutionize the original game like Reaper of Souls did in its time with Diablo 3, but it does bring some solid additions. The main storyline is still driven by an exceptional atmosphere in which you feel immersed. The new class works wonders in terms of customization and is the best way to play dynamic and nervous gameplay. In addition, the underworld of Kurast is a new way to gain power interactively. In short, Vessel of Hatred takes advantage of the additions made in season 4 to offer even more satisfying gameplay than before. The expansion is the perfect excuse to come back to the game for those who abandoned it upon its release or simply those who put it aside at the time. However, it may be too light for veterans who may be expecting more in terms of new features and customization. More than just a place to call home, Sanctuary now has the feel of an unmissable amusement park with Vessel of Hatred.- Jeuxvideo.com

As expected, Paper Mario: The Millennium Door HD follows the same path as the original 2004 version. This remastered version maintains the excellence of its pen with a cast of characters each as striking as the next with a combat system that has already proven itself. The modernized artistic direction works wonders, both visually and aurally. But form is not everything. The structure of the game can quickly weigh on anyone who is allergic to the multiple forced back and forth, especially since the features to relieve this archaic architecture are too little impactful to relieve its heaviness. In short, Paper Mario: The Millennium Door HD remains the best way to discover the best of Mario RPGs when it is released on May 23, 2024 on Nintendo Switch. But we must keep in mind that it also risks tarnishing the wonderful memories that some people have of it.- Jeuxvideo.com

In space, no one will hear you scream... with joy or anger? Building on the rock-solid foundation of the first Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol dodges the photocopy with its intense, difficult, but not as precise melee combat as we would have liked. Despite a certain lack of audacity, Striking Distance managed to steal Saturn's rings in order to slip them on the ring fingers of sci-fi horror lovers. Fasten your asteroid belt, the Space Mountain gore will shake you up, even if the trip turns out to be as imperfect as it is classic.- Jeuxvideo.com

Two feelings arose upon releasing Football Manager 26. Like many, there was disappointment at not getting the expected knockout punch after a two-year hiatus and a major overhaul primarily by Sports Interactive. This was due to an interface designed to appeal to everyone (newcomers, experienced players, console and PC gamers) that risked not fully satisfying anyone, a lack of varied modes, and above all: too many bugs at launch! However, it's important to take a step back and see that the game remains incredibly deep in its management of a club, a manager's career, and player development. All of this is boosted by the new Unity engine in matches, the inclusion of women's football, and tactical progression before and during games. And for those seeking total immersion with all the licenses, authentic logos, and player photos, the passionate FM community will always be there to mod the game on PC while waiting for the licensed 2026 World Cup and updates from the British studio.- Jeuxvideo.com

It would be a lie to say that The Sims 4: Werewolves revolutionizes the gaming experience, but for a simple game pack it is surprisingly interesting. On many points, it is of course reminiscent of The Sims 4: Vampires and even offers more individual and group mechanics. As such, The Sims 4: Werewolves is not just another pack, but a good addition that will allow you to explore many new branches and customize your Sims and their stories even more. If there were not a few balancing concerns and global weariness for all kinds of packs, the Sims 4: Wolves-Garous would have won the title of best game pack.- Jeuxvideo.com

By wanting to compete with Genshin Impact, Kuro Games took everything that made the HoYoverse title successful... sometimes even too much. Whether in its structure, its content and even its interface, everything is reminiscent of the king of gacha. However, it tries to stand out on certain points such as its more advanced action gameplay than its rivals, but also its elegant artistic direction which could turn some people over. Unfortunately, it's difficult to enjoy the experience properly because of this failed French translation. In summary, Wuthering Waves has some arguments to convince those disappointed with Genshin Impact, but it remains to be seen whether it will succeed in demonstrating a follow-up as exemplary as that of HoYoverse productions.- Jeuxvideo.com

On Nintendo Switch, Kingdom of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is the perfect example of a successful port. Complete on cartridge, and very technically correct, failing to really offer the (mysterious) graphic improvements of the remaster, the title now in the hands of Kaiko is ready to welcome Nintendo players for the first time. Magnificent tribute to the saga that inspired it, Evil Dead: The Game is an asymmetrical multiplayer game that surprises with its constant dynamism and frenetic action very well staged. Unfortunately, the software quickly turns in circles. Despite the multitude of playable characters and the two gameplays offered (survivor or demon), Saber Interactive's game does not manage to diversify its approaches. A production that primarily targets fans of the genre and the cinematographic creations of Sam Raimi.- Jeuxvideo.com

With art of rally, Funselektor signs a magnificent love letter to the world of rallying by offering a demanding title that is as complete as it is pleasant. With its six destinations and about fifty cars with unique behaviors, the game simply makes you travel across the globe and through the ages. Ride 4 is more complete than its predecessor in terms of gameplay possibilities, that's a fact. It retains its qualities in the finesse of the grip, will delight fans of the first hour without totally putting off the neophytes, and adds several strings to its bow...On the other hand, Ride does not advance in its staging, tasteless on the track and in the off-circuit events, and even regresses in the career. Back 4 Blood is indeed the worthy heir of the first two Left 4 Dead games. There is no doubt about that. The title from Turtle Rock Studios offers nervous and impacting gameplay that knows how to reinvent itself as the players progress thanks to this successful deck system and these varied objectives that take place in many different places. Unfortunately, the production still lacks balancing. The game is either too simple or too punitive. We hope that a future update will correct all this.- Jeuxvideo.com

The latter is running out of fuel in terms of originality, even showing itself to be frustrating in its construction.- Jeuxvideo.com

Expeditions: Rome touches a bit of everything and, if it does not succeed in making a perfect copy on its conquest and exploration component, it does rather well on its tactical combats and its very pleasant story to follow. If you're not too sensitive to technique and some heaviness in the game's pace, you should have a good time in the heart of the Roman Empire, building your own legend and pursuing your quest for revenge.- Jeuxvideo.com

Andro Dunos 2 does what it is asked to do: restore the arcade pleasure of the old-school shmup while making some concessions to modernity. Very short, but frenetic, difficult, but configurable, varied, the title of PixelHeart will undoubtedly leave on the floor those who are indifferent to the genre, but will undoubtedly delight fans of the franchise as of shoot'em up in general, despite some rather problematic readability issues on Switch.- Jeuxvideo.com

While the automatic aspect of clashes isn't meant to tie us to our seat, it makes it an app of choice for multitasking and alt + tab enthusiasts. If we regret that the start of the run was not the most thrilling and that grind is necessary to achieve the real fun of the game, it is nonetheless a good game for those who like to be in the oven and the mill.- Jeuxvideo.com

Counter Strike 2 did not pass the weapon to the left. This is evidenced by the many players still on the title but also the modifications made more in form than in substance. Thanks to the new Source 2 engine, maps that players have known for more than 20 years are getting a makeover without changing one bit the range of possible tactics or the gameplay sensations. Basically, this update called Counter Strike 2 seems to be more about getting up to speed with the competition than attracting a new audience. What's the point of revolutionizing a team that's already winning?- Jeuxvideo.com

F1 24 suffers from the syndrome of many annualized sports licenses. The Codemasters developers took a risky gamble by modifying the gameplay of the previous edition which had, in our opinion, found an interesting balance between simulation and arcade. Accessible to everyone and rich in content, F1 24 is a convincing automotive title, but which does not bring major changes except for driving which will not suit everyone. From there, it will really depend on everyone's interest in this franchise, but the need for renewal is becoming glaring.- Jeuxvideo.com

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was cool last year, and it is still good fun in 2018 on Switch. The only noticeable flaw is that the game never reaches 1080p even on a proper TV screen.- Jeuxvideo.com

Windjammers 2 is the logical continuation of the episode released in 1994: new characters, new mechanics and online ranked games, it comes out with all the advantages expected of such a title in 2022. in easy hand does not close the door to neophytes while the added moves constitute an additional strategic layer for amateurs of high level game. That said, it must be recognized that the title of Dotemu is sorely lacking in content and that it will hardly hook solo players in the long term.- Jeuxvideo.com

With Ghostrunner 2, the One More Level studio is making an action-adventure shift that is not without its challenges. By focusing on larger and not always very precise areas, we lose a little of what made the first part charming... Here, “die and retry” is more often synonymous with frustration, which results in a less addictive experience! The adventure is thus punctuated by attempts (more or less successful) to flesh out the experience - with a few passages that stand out, particularly in the second part. We therefore end up with a pleasant experience, driven by gameplay that is always effective, but which gets lost a little too often.- Jeuxvideo.com

This fourth additional campaign for Borderlands 3 is undoubtedly not the most generous in terms of content, but remains very successful thanks to a good story, a very endearing duo of characters (the two Kriegs) and humor bordering on the absurd that hits the mark.- Jeuxvideo.com
