If Ghostwire Tokyo does not escape the "one more open world" syndrome, this is almost its only default. If the general structure is undeniably classic, the environment is fortunately much less so. The districts of Tokyo are faithfully represented, and exotic for us Westerners, while the morbid supernatural bestiary from Japanese folklore really does not lack charm.

Crossing Souls offers a solid experience with a good mix of action and adventure where we enjoyed to lead the 5 kids through their journey. If you like pixel art and 80's vibes, don't miss this game.

With its dirty and stressful universe, its wonderful artistic direction and the impressive bosses, Tango Gameworks' game teaches a lesson to Capcom's Resident Evil. A true sequel to Resident Evil 4, believe us.

Get Even could have been a great game but it suffers from too many flaws to be able to really capitalize on it's strengths. It still offers a good narrative and amazing sound.

Even if Concrete Genie offers nice arty visuals, and a good freedom in the murals we can paint, most of the other aspects are let downs, from the gameplay to the level design and the narrative.

Mixing influences such as Canabalt, Broforce, Hotline Miami and Gunpoint, not a hero sadly misses to get the most out of this quite prestigious list of games. In spite of an oriented sense of humor and a weird story, the game manages to be quite joyful with a nervous gameplay and a good replay value thanks to the random character system.

Valentino Rossi The Game is a tribute to the Italian motorbike pilot, glued with the yearly MotoGP game. With few improvements over the past ones, this game will mostly appeal to VR42 fans, and Moto GP fans.

Overall, GRID : Autosport ain't a bad game, but it sticks to recycling the gameplay of Racedriver GRID and the graphics of GRID 2. The content is scarce at start and the AI is an example of what not to do. All this was expected as the game spent less than a year in development, but still, selling a stand alone DLC for the price of a full game is a but daring. The loss of customisation for cars is a major down from previous episodes. Overall the game still proves worthy but it surely wont seduce much besides the ip's fanboys. The best way is still to get GRID 1 & 2 during some sale.

Star trek Bridge Crew is a must have for all serious Trekkie out there with an immaculate respect to the IP. On the other hand, most players will find the game repetitive and quickly boring due to the limited gameplay.

Without being a revolution of the first game, Attack on Titan 2 is a nice evolution that packs enough new stuff to rejuvenate the game. On the downside, the gameplay is still quite repetitive, but that can be due to the game closely matching the manga.

Tranformers Devastation is best Transformers game to date. PlatinumGames did a great job with the fighting portion of the game and that's all we want to remember, as the rest is not on the same level.

Certainly, DiRT Showdown is not the best racing game of 2012. However, Codemasters proves it knows how to develop a good one. If there's nothing bad to say regarding its content, choices in terms of gameplay can be questioned. indeed, some good ol' drivers could easily fall asleep whereas newcomers will enjoy the spectacular races DiRT Showdown has to offer, introducing a new social network, Racenet, to the multiplayer mode.

This return is a success! Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time keeps doing what the former games of the series did very well : very colourful graphics, great direction and skilled platform levels. New characters, introduces by Sanzaru Games, are more a good idea than a bad one. And the lack of challenge is quickly forgotten because of a deep content and an hilarious adventure.

Ten years after its original release, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit remains one of the best games of the IP, but the remaster is quite light, with no new content and only lightly improved visuals.

If Troy isn't the best Total War, it's one of the most convincing Total War Saga games. Overall the recipe for the IP doesn't change much, which is a bit sad for newcomers, but will delight the fans of the series.

Capcom could have played it lazy for this Remake of Duck Tales, but the Japanese studio instead decided to pay tribute to one of it's most mythic games of the Famicom Era, by bringing us this fully reimagined version of the game. Sure, some things haven't changed like the gameplay or the levels that made its success, but the work on the visuals is such a bliss, and the new content surely enough too keep you entertained, even 20 years after the first dip in that adventure which left us so many memories. And for the younger players, it's the right time to discover an excellent platformer game.

With such an imbalanced gameplay/narrative ratio, South of the Circle clearly won't appeal to everyone. The few gameplay mechanics are really anecdotal, so much so that even the choice system does not lead to different ends as tradition dictates. It is imperative to approach this production from the angle of the essentially narrative adventure, or even squarely to place oneself in the spirit "I am watching a nice animated film of 3h30".

If Shenmue 1 & 2 are still great games, this so-called remaster is barely a lousy port, with plenty of bugs and and technical problems. The only improvement is 1080p display and a few new content, but overall, Shenmue 1 & 2 HD doesn't deserve your hard earned cash.

Iron Harvest is quite a nice RTS (which is a rare thing ATM), and even if we can find a few hiccups with the AI and more specifically it's pathfinding, we can expect some updates to correct all of this. Seven years after the last Company of Heroes, it's great to see some new faces.

In spite of being quite short, and having an over-complicated system to switch between powers, Carrion is a very good game that offers something different from the mainstay. We specially like the animations of the monster and the fact that we play as a huge beast.

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is meant for those who didn't play the original game on PS3 and Xbox 360: it's the most complete version to date, brought to you with 1080p and 60fps. Enjoy. The others should keep their money for the sixth episode.

Lara Croft and The Temple of Osiris does comply with all the promises made by Square Enix. It's a nice mix of puzzles, platforms, action and loot that still works even if the developers stayed away from risk-taking. Even if it's not The game you want for Christmas, you can still enjoy it, even more so if you're giving it a shot in co-op.

For the first time, you can really be the Batman and it's a exhilarating feeling. Rocksteady adapted Batman to VR really well: they kept focus on investigation instead of fighting, avoiding motion sickness by making Batman still. And they eventually offer a surprising scenario. It's far from perfect, but it's one of the best experience on PS VR you can play today.

Players will have trouble considering Prototype 2 as a full-fledged sequel. The lack of surprises regarding the gameplay compared to the previous title, and a story that is not worth telling despite some amazing live action cutscenes, could curb the enthusiasm of the few players looking for new game mecanics. However, Radical Enterainment managed to create a gaming experience as intuitive as the one offered in 2009 in the first Prototype. So, James Heller will surely help some players reach true power with their controller and it would be crazy not to try!

Starlink: Battle For Atlas feels a bit like No Man's Sky with a bigger development budget. The game is a very decent space-opera and the toys are cleverly used. The narrative is quite a let-down though and the price is still high, even for players who only want the digital content.
