Tales of Zestiria is a good J-RPG, based on a deep and clever fighting system, and offering a nice and classic journey. But maybe Bandai Namco should now let some features and some techs behind to begin a really new era with its IP.

A successful bet for Robocop from the Teyon studio which offers us a pleasant spectacle, especially if we like the character and this 80's 90's period of American cinema. But make no mistake, Robocop is an ultra generic FPS, bordering on old school in its foundations, the game doesn't invent anything and people who only swear by the codes of the modern FPS will perhaps be disappointed. But the game has such a pleasant feeling that it is difficult to ignore its pleasure, especially since the game respects the license to death, and that must also be emphasized. It's violent, it's kitsch and it's even narrative, but we had a lot of fun in the 12/15 hours needed to finish the game. Because yes, this Robocop also has the delicacy of having a duration of very honest life for a narrative single player game.

If the fans might object that Team Sonic Racing has only karts to race, the co-op mechanics are very good and getting our team in front feels even better than to win the race. On the other hand, the game offers little-to-no challenge and the the content is pretty light.

We saw this coming: the Just Dance series begins to show some signs of fatigue. Less tracks, no big new feature, nothing to push us to spend 50 euros in a game.

Steep is a very good game for adrenaline junkies and pow addicts in every way. For gamers, the answer is less clear as a good gameplay and a vast open world don't compensate the lack of a clear goal to achieve.

Assassin's Creed Rogue will be a good value for those who didn't try Black Flag; for the others, it will be a serious case of déjà-vu, as the game doesn't bring anything really new in its gameplay mechanics.

Difficult to be enthusiastic about this new compilation of Namco's games, because there are two problems. First of all, the selling price is too high and the choice of the games are not very interesting. Forget about it and save your money.

If the new stuff is scarce in Assassin's Creed III Remastered, the game still offers a good experience, and offers a nice bundle with Assassin's Creed Liberation. We would have loved a bit more polish on the graphics though.

More a party game than a real sports game, Nintendo Switch Sports naturally follows in the footsteps of Wii Sports and Wii Sports Club. And it's true that we have fun, as long as we have a few friends at hand and a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. These two conditions are indeed necessary to have fun over the long term, because the absence of any scripted mode means that solo play has almost no interest.

As often with light remasters, Mafia II: Definitive Edition offers marginal improvements over the genuine game, making it less attractive for those who already own it. For the others, it's a no brainer: this is the version to go for.

With its magnificent graphics which give the feeling of a next gen game (apart from the NPCs), Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is an invitation to travel, to immerse yourself and get lost on the magnificent planet of Pandora. But if graphically the title is incredible, it ultimately remains far too academic in its gameplay. We actually feel that the developers really wanted to break away from the usual formula of Ubisoft games, notably Far Cry, forcing them to go in a direction that was a little too conventional. The adventure goes well, but it lacks that epic side that we are waiting for forever. Ubisoft's title could have been the last great game of 2023, it will ultimately remain a good game that did not follow through with the proposition.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst can surely appeal to the hardcore fans of the original game, but a crappy AI, an automated skill tree (what's the point?) and a lame Frostbite Engine made us loose Faith in the game.

Beyond Blue is nice and relaxing, but it's way too short and repetitive to really shine, and maybe too aimed at a casual audience.

Because Ezio and its Italian appeal are the best thing that ever happened to the Assassin's Creed IP, The Ezio Collection is a must have, but not at the actual price point as the new elements are too few.

Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse 2 feels more like a big update to the first game than a true sequel, and if the fights are worthy, the MMO side of things feels like a last minute add-on as the empty Cloud City shows.

FIFA 21 feels a lot like a transition game that was hastily put together to leave time for the PS5 and XSX future. It corrects a few hiccups from the previous game, but overall it's not enough to lure anybody in but the most hardcore fans of FUT.

It's clearly Team Ninja's gameplay expertise that saves Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin from disaster. It takes a monster foot to move from one class to another while becoming familiar with the finesse they abound. Because yes, given the low technical level, we have the impression of dealing with a PS3 / Xbox 360 game. It goes hand in hand with the story which is being demolished by this constant silliness.

Silt is fun to play and features a very attractive monochrome art direction, as well as a deliciously dark atmosphere. Everything would be perfect if Journey, Limbo, Inside, Abzû or Little Nightmares hadn't already been there. The title of Spiral Circus was certainly made with passion, but it does not manage to stand out enough from its models.

The main reason to buy The Sims : Living Together is the group feature that allows multiple sims to do an activity together. Beyond that there isn't much to see and as usual the value isn't great.

With this fourth DLC, Destiny keeps on its tracks, and even if the new content is welcomed, there's nothing really exciting. The whole experience seems to go around in circles. Clearly Bungie's attention is now on the sequel.

Even if old players are the target, Arkanoid Eternal Battle will still appeal to younger generations thanks to the competitive mode. Battle Royale-style kills and a 25-player cap ensure fast, hassle-free games. It is however very regrettable that the servers are so empty, and that we suddenly find ourselves facing AI rather than real players.

Borderlands 2 VR is a good game in VR, which increases a lot the immersive potential of the game. On the other hand, this version is sold without any of the previous DLCs and does not support multiplayer. A shame for a game that's a must on coop.

All the trailers predicted a great Souls-like, lifted by its revolutionary, fantastic, historical and original universe. But Steelrising just misses the point. Some more or less annoying bugs, the incomprehensible absence of French voices (it's a french game), and the fact of leaving after Elden Ring harm a game that deserved to be a little more polished and ambitious.

Made with good intentions, The Smurfs 2 The Prisoner of the Green Stone unfortunately does not manage to do as well as its predecessor released in 2021. However, the decision to take inspiration from Ratchet & Clank in its gameplay was a good idea in itself, but OSome Studio did not go through with the adaptation. Between a limited gameplay loop which is never renewed, the restricted use of SmurfoMix, the hallucinating - and incomprehensible - poverty of the bestiary (5 types of enemies in total), only 3 different worlds to travel through (and which last far too long). for a long time), portals that are completely underused but also an inconsistent level design, we get bored quite quickly because of this repetition in the gameplay. It's a shame because the game is well made, the gameplay is mastered and the graphics are attractive.

Wonderbook is one of the greatest Augmented Reality device of its generation. Creating immersion like you've never experienced before and using cleverly the PS Move, Book of Spells will entertain young players that love Harry Potter's adventures. However, quickly the gameplay shows its limits and appears to be too simple to amaze us more than an afternoon. But, we're still looking forward to the future Wonderbook title!

DiRT 5 looks good, but feels way too dull to really trigger our love of arcade racing, specially with a lousy AI and multiplayer races that all end up in a demolition derby round. At least, Playground mode saves the day and brings a welcome dose of pure fun into the mix.
