We made it one of our favorite games on PS Vita since we saw it during the gamescom 2013. More than its Burton-style, Murasaki Baby seemed to offer an interesting gameplay, perfectly suited for PS Vita. But the game is too short to be remembered. Only 2 hours will be enough to complete the four chapters of the journey, without any possibility of a new game plus. At least, it won't be bad for your wallet.

We already had the good feeling during our preview session two months ago, and it is now a truth : Asterix & Obelix Slap them All! is indeed the little nugget that Microids and Mr Nutz Studio have promised us. Mind-blowingly beautiful (and regardless of the medium chosen, no downgrade, even on Nintendo Switch), the game also enjoys solid gameplay with a hint of strategy quite unexpected.

Sadly, Crysis is not really a good remaster. Sure, it's still Crysis but its looks are sub-par, it's filled with bugs, and some content is missing like mission 10 and the DLSS. Don't bother unless it's heavily discounted and you own a powerful PC.

With Cobra Space Adventure, Microids adds yet another stain to an already troubled track record. One might have hoped that passion and love for Buichi Terasawa’s work could transcend a shoestring budget, but the reality is brutally clear: Cobra marks a botched comeback, bland and lifeless. Outdated graphics, shameful animations, clunky gameplay, nonexistent staging… nothing manages to lift the game out of mediocrity, aside from a handful of decent ideas tied to the Psychogun. What makes it all the more depressing is that Cobra deserved so much better. Its rich, timeless universe had the potential for a bold adaptation, one that could have captivated both nostalgic fans of the ’80s and a brand-new audience. Instead, what we get is a soulless production that honors neither its source material nor the player. In 2025, it’s unacceptable to charge $40 for a game that looks and plays like a free mobile title you’d stumble upon on the AppStore or Google Play.

Where the Water Tastes Like Water feels like a roadtrip deep into the heart of America, with lots of nice stories. The tasks are still very repetitive, and a Director's Cut version would improve it a lot.

AER memories of Old is a very good little poetic game which will hook you up with it's amazing graphical style and the ability to play as an eagle to improve the freedom feel of it all. Only the shortness of the adventure may stop you from buying this at full blown price.

The Callisto Protocol is the real sequel to Dead Space that we never had and it took Glen Schofield to return to the horror game to get it. However, even if the game takes up all the codes of EA's survival horror with its stressful atmosphere, perfectly mastered, and its really enjoyable gore side, The Callisto Protocol also innovates thanks to its melee combat system, which allows interesting combinations and obliges you to plan your battle plan well, otherwise you will be quickly overwhelmed. A great success and we want a sequel with even more new ideas.

Captain Tsubasaa: Rise of New Champions is pure fan-service and offers a great adaptation of the original material. On the other hand, its shortcomings are numerous, and if you hope to find here a good soccer game, you might be better off looking elsewhere.

Sports Champions 2 tries to do better than the first title with new events. Skiing, Boxing, Golf or Tennis are now to be played. Déjà-vu but far more relevant. Motion control mechanics are pretty good but the gameplay isn't deep enough to really keep us playing for hours. There are only six events available anyway.

Often mocked for its games with recycled gameplay, Ubisoft offers us something original with Roller Champions. The rules of this fictional sport hold up perfectly, and so do the execution, gameplay, and accessibility. So we're having a really good time online. On the other hand, the content is weak for the moment, it is its main fault.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch may not be a triple A game, but Young Horses have been smart enough to make it catchy, with a particularly endearing hero. Unfortunately, Octodad suffers from an imprecise gameplay, a sometimes crazy camera and approximative collisions. It remains a good experience, maybe too expensive though.

StarFox Zero is torn apart between traditions and modernity, here embodied by PlatinumGames. Both were probably compatible but Nintendo's will to make the GamePad something essential to the gameplay mechanics definitely kills all the other good ideas around.

Even if it's just a port, Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Complete Edition deserved more. We could talk about enhanced visuals but the game is really far from beautiful. The battles are dynamic and the cast is huge. But it's not enough to see it as a gathering episode.

With Jurassic World Evolution, Frontier delivers a solid game with very good gameplay mechanics which even gives us goosebumps when we follow the footsteps of a new dinosaur. The movie lore is there and the graphics are good. You should definitely give this one a try.

Warhammer Chaosbane walks in the footsteps of Diablo, but fails to match it's master because of the repetitive environments, it's shot lifetime and an extremely limited endgame content.

If we had to compare Of Orcs and Men with usual standards, the title can't be seen as a flawless game, especially when you look at its poor level design and its loot system. But it would be a shame to avoid its great tactical fighting sequences, and its amazing narration that could surpass some AAA games, making Of Orcs and Men a pleasant surprise.

Besides some new features, Knack 2 fails to avoid some flaws like the soporific storyline and a sub-par technical aspect. On the other hand, the gameplay is still good and some places offer a decent challenge to the player.

FIFA 13 Wii U is not really FIFA 13. When you think twice, this episode is closer to FIFA 12 which is not a pleasant idea to convey for the future of Nintendo's new console. Many features have simply disappeared and the gameplay options proposed by the use of GamePad are not so groundbreaking.

Tumble VR is still a great PlayStation Move puzzle-game in spite of the six years since it first got out on PS3. On the other hand, it's not the game we advise you to buy to showcase the potential of VR to your family.

We can't say that Mad Max is a disappointment. Avalanche gave its game some great qualities such as quality visuals and RPG features to develop your hero and your car. But the game left us with a bittersweet taste of something that could have been much better if the studio had tried to take some more gambles.

We would have loved to like World of Warplanes but wargaming.net's title misses its target. From a small margin indeed but the aiming system that hesitates between arcade and sim ruins the experience. It's even more sad because the rest of the game is pretty neat. Nicely made and plentiful, the aircraft are the true star of the show, and the environment does its job. And the economic model is very nice for a free-to-play. You can actually play for free, without ever feeling you can't compete with paying players. Do not hesitate to try this imperfect but nice game, and the devs swear they would improve it in the coming months.

Pleasant in many ways despite a few imperfections, Bladed Fury proves once again that we will have to reckon with Chinese developers in the years to come. This emulator of Muramasa fulfills its role perfectly. Chinese mythology and the artistic direction pleasant as their Japanese counterparts.

The first hack'n'slash game on 3DS, Heroes of Ruin can easily be forgotten. With its cheap graphics, and its universe and narration lacking of originality, the title developed by n-Space won't represent this kind of game that hardly finds success on handheld devices. Some players could play Heroes of Ruin to train themself, but only if they have enough money to spend.

As a huge fan of Lego games, I've been disappointed by The LEGO Movie Videogame. Of course the title aims at seducing young fans of the film, but is it a reason to ruin the content and the direction? Of course we find humor, platforming riddles and stuff to collect which became the renown of previous titles, but the result is not quite as enjoyable. If we limit ourselves to the bad direction, the crappy music, the bugs and lags will still be enough to displease most achievement hunters. But even the content of the game sucks, fewer characters than usual, a light life, easy progression. As it seems it's not that easy to make a good LEGO game from a great LEGO film. Next try in 2017 with LEGO the movie 2!

Ambitious and promising, Dakar Desert Rally is ultimately not the great rally game that we were sold. Even if its open world is pleasant to browse, especially when the navigation aids are deactivated, the game still has problems already present in Dakar 18. We think in particular of the physics not developed, the weakness of the AI, to the indications of the co-pilot which are not connected with what we see on the track, or to the still too numerous bugs. The Saber Porto studio spent more time creating its open world, forgetting the errors of Darak 18.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is not a good fighting game, and not a good MMO either. The title from Dimps clearly hesitates between two genres without never mastering one or the other. The far-too-basic gameplay prevent fighting fans from enjoying the battles, while the painful progression does not offer us an efficient online experience.
