Rather pretty despite the weak technical characteristics of the Nintendo Switch, Smurf Kart allows some trickery even if we are still far from the finesse of a Mario Kart. Too bad the content of the game is so poor, which leads us to believe that it is a ruse by the developers to deploy DLC afterwards.- JeuxActu

When you know a bit about soccer you can't help but notice Nintendo Pocket Football Club is littered with flaws, making that game unappealing to soccer fans. The game is way too easy to enjoy your team boss role. ParityBit's game still offers an easy approach to the sport making it a good choice for newbies to the sport.- JeuxActu

The game system of Armored Core 5 remains efficient but clearly suffers from out-of-date graphics that only huge fans of the IP will forgive. You've been warned!- JeuxActu

MXGP 2 is a typical Milestone game: a very solid base with lots of official content that's ruined by a lack of overall polish and quite a handful of bugs.- JeuxActu

Despite the fact that Capcom Digital Collection gathers titles that are not necessarily close to perfection, being able to play HD versions of Super Street Fighter II, Final Fight or Flock are make spending some money on this compilation of famous arcade games worth it.- JeuxActu

Sadly Twin Mirror gives us the feeling that Dontnod has a shortage of ideas, as the game feels like another iteration on Life is Strange's concept. The narrative isn't special anymore, the few dialogue options are way too shallow, and the few puzzles can't make up for the lot. It's not a bad game overall, but it feels like the Xerox machine has done most of the work.- JeuxActu

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 sadly highlights the limits of a franchise that once defined multiplayer FPS excellence but now feels exhausted by its relentless annual cycle. Rushed production is obvious: the single-player campaign, once the series’ emotional core, is chaotic, blending robots, zombies, mutant plants, and hallucinogenic gas, with no checkpoints, no pause, and mandatory online connection. It’s less a true solo campaign than a co-op multiplayer dressed up with a few cutscenes...The endgame is equally disappointing: flat maps, weak enemy AI, and powers that quickly lose appeal make it feel shallow compared to ARC Raiders or Battlefield 6. Multiplayer is uneven, innovations like wall-jumping and omni-movement can be fun, but cramped maps, frantic action, and unbalanced mechanics drag the experience down. Some modes, like Surcharge, bring strategy, and removing SBMM helps, but they can’t mask the lack of real evolution...Zombies mode expands combat and maps but remains forgettable, while Dead Ops Arcade 4 is just a fleeting diversion. Black Ops 7 isn’t unplayable, but it’s rushed and uninspired. Die-hard fans may enjoy a few sessions with friends, but most players will likely turn to more polished competitors like Battlefield 6 or ARC Raiders.- JeuxActu

Even if Atomega offers a good gameplay and an interesting concept, it suffers from a serious lack of content. Only one map and one game mode is not enough, and ot makes all the games look alike.- JeuxActu

With most of the features of previous games gone, it's hard to praise F1 2015, specially when you know that those features will be back next year. Unless you're an absolute F1 fanatic willing to fund the FOPA with your money, we suggest you wait for the next iteration of the IP.- JeuxActu

UEFA Euro 2012 is an excellent soccer game, especially for players that already bought FIFA 12, giving them the chance to spend only twenty dollars to get it. For the others, the need to buy FIFA 12 to enjoy it, will make the argument more difficult to make. The few imperfections are not easy to forget, considering the fact this kind of players have to pay a lot more to play UEFA Euro 2012. Still, it remains a good game as a FIFA 12 in disguise.- JeuxActu

Wii Party U is far from a masterpiece, but you can be sure you'll have fun with it. It's not perfect, some games are boring, there is several problems with balance and with motion recognition, but it should help you to wait till the release of an all-new Mario Party.- JeuxActu

While Kylotonn has made a dramatic improvement over Milestone's game with much more refined physics and a tremendous increase in graphics quality and sound, the game still has some inherent flaws. The Special stages are too few and a lot of bugs ruin the overall experience.- JeuxActu

It's been eight years since we've seen Yoshi in a journey of his own. As you can imagine, there were massive hopes on his shoulders. And the disappointment is only harder to swallow after completing this - short - adventure. It's nice, but the game never manages to take off. The far too slow rhythm leaves the player progressing with no real aim. There is some new stuff of course, new transformations, the giant eggs to throw, but nothing really exciting. The fans will enjoy the graphics (very seductive), and the classic gameplay, still able to hit some soft spots, but that is all they'll get. It is clear Nintendo is targeting the youngest gamers, who are going to find in Yoshi's New island, a good platformer, but nothing compared to the former episodes.- JeuxActu

In spite of a promising overhaul, Dynasty Warriors 9 fails in every aspect with it's soulless open worlds, its lousy gameplay and a truckload of technical problems from AI pathfinding to aliasing and atrocious clipping. Only give it a shot if you're amongst the most hardcore fans of the IP.- JeuxActu

Gear.Club Unlimited is just a bad port of an otherwise successful mobile racing game. Even if the content is generous, the game is expensive, the gameplay is a joke, the AI is crap and the graphics are ugly. Don't bother with this one if you really like cars and racing games.- JeuxActu

Defiance suffers from a number of small problems that could be fixed with a patch. With countless bugs and the lack of a cover system among others, Defiance fails due to its youth rather than from really bad development quality, lots of good concepts and ideas thrown in the game - but most of those are so badly used. For now in the state of a promising beta, Defiance is still an average MMO that lacks player interactions or a Third Person Shooter with a linear gameplay and lots of bugs. The price to pay for an MMO with no monthly subscription? We were expecting more from the studio that made Rift, moreover when that game costs 50€ plus the season pack which make it a very expensive beta.- JeuxActu

Metroid Prime: Federation Force is an average game but it's not as bad as it was expected by fans and gamers all around the world. The multiplayer part is a nice feature that works very well in spite of the lack of challenge and you'll find some good ideas in the game design and the boss fights. But of course, it's hard not to take it as a cheap try to make a Metroid game.- JeuxActu

This reboot of Shadow of the Beast is an honest game which sticks to the recipe that made its original success, but it could have been better with an improved level design, better enigmas and more intrictate patterns fro the bosses.- JeuxActu

The Crew 2 still falls short of expectations in spite of the improvements made over the first iteration of the game. The open-world feels empty, the multiplayer features are useless as there is no PvP and the rest of the game feels way too generic to stand out from its competition. Forza Horizon is still a safer bet.- JeuxActu

Robinson: The Journey should have been Crytek's VR Jurassic Park. If the world is amazing and the game offers a decent experience with about 7-8h of gameplay, the lack of dinosaurs and interactions spoils the fun. This clearly calls for a second opus.- JeuxActu

Honestly, London 2012 - The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games is not the blockbuster you were waiting for. This feeling is justified by bad graphics and gameplay mechanics that won't help players breaking records. So what's good in the gam ? Some events are fun to play and a pretty good game lengh could offer an interesting experience. However, after Beijing, we were clearly hoping for something better.- JeuxActu

If you're a mainstream gamer, we have no reason to recommend Telltale's Game of Throne as it's far from being the best game of the studio. On the other hand if you're a fanatic of R.R. Martin's books you won't regret your purchase as it's better than the HBO series.- JeuxActu

One Piece: Pirate Warriors isn't the game of the year but it's probably the best game in the series. Some can say it's just a Dynasty Warriors-like, with all the problems that come with it, but it's a good one. The use of Quick Time Events is clever and brings some kind of renewal to the gameplay. Most of all, Pirate Warriors is the most accurate episode and it will be no problem to convince the fans.- JeuxActu
