F1 2014 is a real disappointment, as it changes absolutely nothing from the previous episode and even takes off the Classic mode. You'll feel betrayed, probably.- JeuxActu

How did Ubisoft manage to take 6 months to port the PS3/X360 versions of Watch Dogs onto the Wii U? A very long wait that's justified by nothing when we see the low quality of the graphics and the lack of improvements whatsoever. It might be worth a try to those who only own a Wii U and hence will never experience GTA 5.- JeuxActu

Volition got lost with Agents of Mayhem which is just another very generic Action/TPS game where nothing that really stands out. Everything is average and boredom awaits right around the corner.- JeuxActu

Hood: Outlaws & Legends could have done better. If the experience offered corresponded to the multiplayer mode of a production with a single player campaign, we would be much more enthusiastic. But as a pure multiplayer game, Hood: Outlaws & Legends still lacks a bit of content, finishing, and balancing to really convince.- JeuxActu

Sweet mix between Destruction Derby and Twisted Metal, the game from Lucid Games has some good ideas, but never manages to make them come true. There is fun, explosion, but it lacks depth. Fortunately, it is offered in the PlayStation Plus this month.- JeuxActu

Once again, Sonic is a true disappointment as the speed is not quite here, and if you try to get the most of it, you won't be able to explore and find hidden items. A game aimed at youngsters maybe?- JeuxActu

Mario Sport Superstars is a low-ambition compilation, created with light versions of games already released (Mario Tennis Open, Mario Gold World Tour) and some new trials, from the very bad baseball to the refreshing horse races.- JeuxActu

Disintegration's idea of mixing FPS with RTS seems like a good way to bring something new onto the market, but the way it's been done is wrong, and the game suffers from too many shortcomings to really shine.- JeuxActu

Conan Unconquered falls short of any expectations with ugly graphics and simple tower defense mechanics with a touch of RTS elements. It would have been worthy as a free-to-play, but it's hard to recommend it to anyone with the 40€ price-tag.- JeuxActu

While being sub-par overall, We Happy Few is still a nice save when you think that Compulsion changed its game from a survival title to narrative-driven adventure in just two years. If you had big expectations, don't bother. If you like the artistic side of things and the concept, give it a shot.- JeuxActu

Zombie Army Trilogy is not a good shooter and is not a good cooperation game either. Gameplay is dull and repetitive, level design is ridiculous and the result is far from being on a par with such a reference as Left 4 Dead.- JeuxActu

Here They Lie is without a doubt one of the most traumatic experiences we've ever had in videogames. We dove deep into the horror, and only the motion sickness got us back out of VR.- JeuxActu

There is not much to praise in FlatOut 4: Total Insanity. The FaltOut mode is fun and brings back some good old memories, but everything else is trash. Sad for an IP that had its fans back in the day.- JeuxActu

Now that we’ve finished Lost Soul Aside, it’s clear that the game is far from the disaster many claimed on social media. After more than twenty hours of play, it’s obvious that Yang Bing’s project (started as a student hobby and later turned into an industrial-scale production with Sony’s support) retains all its passion and identity in its gameplay, even if some peripheral aspects aren’t as polished. At the heart of the game lies its dynamic combat system, rich in possibilities. The four weapons (longsword, greatsword, double spear, and scythe) each offer distinct approaches, which can be combined into fluid, spectacular combos, made accessible through mechanics like perfect parries and the assist system that activates after multiple deaths. The draconic companion Arena adds another strategic and visually impressive dimension, turning battles into true aerial ballets. Yet, the game is not without flaws. The graphics, while generally basic, feel like a previous-generation title, suffering from an uneven and sometimes questionable art direction, as well as occasionally repetitive environments. The storytelling and character charisma are limited, and platforming sections can be frustrating due to the hero’s slightly floaty physics. The English voice acting is also disappointing, making it strongly recommended to stick to the Chinese original or the Japanese voices, which are much better executed. Despite these shortcomings, Lost Soul Aside succeeds where many modern action games fail: it delivers immediate, pure fun, with a gratifying combat system and combos that grow richer as you progress. For fans of fast-paced hack-and-slash, it’s an experience not to be underestimated. Perhaps not worth €70, but definitely closer to €40, let’s be honest.- JeuxActu

Worms Battlegrounds' shot goes wide. Clearly. It never takes the advantage from the power of Xbox One and PS4, and even makes us nostalgic of the old Worms. That would be forgivable if the game had avoided some technical issues in the collisions and the AI. It's still fun when you play with your mates though.- JeuxActu

With a very well made atmosphere, a good storyline and a high quality Jazz soundtrack, Compulsion Game's title takes the player in a very seductive world. But the true strong point of the game is in its addictive gameplay, the possibility to shift between 2D and 3D serves both the game and the story by providing us with a peep of the real world, seen through a game of shadows. Without being flawless, Contrast manages to be a very good platform game that will win the hearts of most gamers for sure.- JeuxActu

WWE 2K15 has still a long way to go to get to NBA 2K15's level, but we can only thank 2K for taking much better care of their wrestling IP than THQ did back in time. Sadly the character roster has shrunk since last year's opus.- JeuxActu

We believed in Lost Planet 3. Capcom wanted to come back to the origins of the series, focusing on solo mode and had some good arguments to get us absorbed again by the planet EDN-III's atmosphere. Everything is here: a nice character, efficient gameplay, and interesting content. But nothing really makes Lost Planet 3 a really big game. Graphics aren't that impressive, really commonplace and the game lacks of rhythm and epic moments. Nowhere near the first episode.- JeuxActu

Saints Row could have been the reboot of renewal or that of consecration, but it will ultimately be that of semi-disappointment. Open world too classic, band of anti-heroes without real charisma, questionable artistic direction and lot of glitches spoil the gaming experience.- JeuxActu

Back to 3D for this new episode of Asterix & Obelix, which is a game fairly faithful to the comics. Despite a nice universe, the game is too repetitive with the added bonus of a fairly low viewing time of 5 hours of play. It would have taken more varied levels, more original puzzles and a more ambitious A.I. for the game to really score the spirits.- JeuxActu

Even if it's the first game announced on PS5, Godfall is far from a system seller. Sure, the graphics are appealling, but most of what's left after is pretty disappointing, from the poor story to the repetitive gameplay. At least the fights are enjoyable, and the lore has potential.- JeuxActu

Beyond it's magnificent Open World and it's very polished technical aspects, The Crew is an empty shell, lacking content and plagued by microtransactions that turn the PvP into a pay-to-win. Clearly a disappointment from the studio that gave us V-Rally and Test Drive Unlimited.- JeuxActu

It's hard to get excited for Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires, which has been built on a game that already looked very ugly and had an off-topic open world four years ago. If Omega Force has done well to drop the open world concept to return to a more classic structure, we note however that little has really changed and it's still boring playing this new game.- JeuxActu

As we could expect, Dead Island Riptide suffers form the 1.5 syndrome. In other words this stand alone game could have been sold as a DLC to the first episode. Those who disliked Dead Island can keep staying away from this game. For the Fans of the IP, the game offers a good deal with the seductive tropical setting, the countless zombies and the improvised weapons, but they will still have to cope with the drawbacks of the genuine game as bugs, repetitive action and boring quests are still the main stay of this game.- JeuxActu
