Far from the exceptional stuff we've been promised, Destiny is "only" a good game, with a huge potential which will be fulfilled with some good old DLC's. Nothing to be ashamed of from a visual point a view, but Bungie's new baby has some troubles with its content (sluggish progression, repetitive missions, sometimes really dumb AI). Destiny has been limited on purpose, to serve 10 years of good service with DLC's. But the frustration mixes with enjoyment thanks to an attractive universe, a beautiful soundtrack and an accessible gameplay.- JeuxActu

WWE 2K19 still offers incredible content that will hook up any wrestling fan, but sadly, quantity prevails over quality, and the technical side of things and rigid gameplay are enough to repel any gamer that's not fond of the WWE.- JeuxActu

If you like bikes and speed on two wheels, then MotoGP 19 is clearly for you. Even if you just enjoy racing games, the last iteration of Milestone's franchise is worth a look as almost everything has been improved over last year's offering.- JeuxActu

After nearly a decade off the courts, the Mario Tennis series returns on the Nintendo Switch 2 with a different approach and it's disapointing. Unlike previous entries, which balanced solid tennis gameplay with fun, arcade-style elements, Mario Tennis Fever isn’t really about precision or timing anymore. It’s immediate, flashy, and chaotic, with frenzied rackets and over-the-top effects designed to get laughs (or frustration) rather than reward skill. The downside is that this focus on spectacle comes at the expense of balance. Some powers feel overpowered, defense is limited, and the depth that made Mario Tennis Aces satisfying is largely gone. Online matches can quickly feel repetitive, even frustrating. The Adventure mode doesn’t help: short, overly wordy, and heavy on tutorials, it feels more like a drawn-out lesson than a proper solo campaign.Fortunately, the game’s overall content softens the blow. A generous roster, dozens of rackets, mini-games, and multiple modes keep the experience lively—but after eight years of waiting, it still feels a little light.- JeuxActu

With MotoGP 20, Milestone has improved a lot on the tire physics and the way they degrade, and offers a lot of content. But the 10 month or so of development time are showing through the sheer number of bugs, and the elements taken from Codemaster's F1 series.- JeuxActu

If you are looking for originality with this Assassin's Creed Mirage, you will be disappointed, the game only focusing on the nostalgic fiber and the roots of the license. Less RPG elements, smaller open world, 15/20 hours of gaming maximum, the return of the Middle East and gameplay centered on stealth mechanics, some players will appreciate the return of the old Assassin's Creed philosophy, others will not because the game is less complete, with old school stealth mechanics. Assassin's Creed Mirage is simply Assassin's Creed in the most basic way the formula has to offer. It's not bad in itself, but after 3 years of waiting, we were still entitled to expect something more surprising.- JeuxActu

Spec Ops The Line is a good TPS whose lack of originality regarding its gameplay mechanics can be easliy criticized. And yet, the title offers a great experience, depicting a bright and apocalyptic vision of Dubaï, just as if players were there. The mise-en-scène of Spec Ops The Line also manages to share, both psychologically and physically, the craziness experienced by our heroes. Finally, the classic multiplayer modes make us forget the short time needed to finish the main campaign.- JeuxActu

Apotheon is a nice adventure game offering uncommon visuals, meant to look like Greek ceramic. Even with its faults (strange physics, useless items, subtitles only in English), the game from Alien Trap brings a lot of fresh ideas and features.- JeuxActu

Saints Row 4 takes a turn towards TPS through a scenario change. As President of the United States, the game will put you in a hero role which will make the gameplay deviate towards a gaming experience closer to Prototype than to it's own ancestors. The legacy is not forgotten as the crazy side of things is still pretty much a central point, and of course the specific sense of humor which is the game's signature. With a main quest taking around 15 hours and many more side missions providing a wealthy lifetime, Saints Row is grieved by lots of small faults, chief among them the awful graphics it displays.- JeuxActu

Hard but never unfair, short but intense, classic but well-made, Gunborg: Dark Matters has all the charm of a small indie production. Only the lack of content tarnishes the final balance sheet. Between the lifespan limited to two or three hours if one does not seek to maximize the scores and the shyness of the narration, Gunborg necessarily leaves an aftertaste of too little.- JeuxActu

Pokémon Art Academy is a good mix between Pokémon and New Art Academy, which tended to propose maybe too classical drawings. Here, you really enjoy trying to create something good with some precise instructions and hundreds of creatures to draw. But once you're out of the Lessons Mode and free to draw what you want, the difficulty raises inevitably, so you'll need several hours of training to produce something nice. Hopefully you have a 3DS XL available.- JeuxActu

Crysis 3 follows the path of its predecessor. Visually stunning on consoles and absolutely gorgeous on powerful PCs, Crysis 3 is a true landmark. But despite its sexy outline, this FPS runs out of innovative gameplay and a proper scenario. To sum up, Crysis 3 is a beautiful hollow thing.- JeuxActu

Rome 2: Total War suffers from the same problem as the former episodes: a really poor finish for such a great game. It's a good thing that you can forget this thanks to the quality of the new Creative Assembly game and its strategic richness. More easy to play, full of new features, it will be enjoyed by regular players and newbies.- JeuxActu

Let's not blind ourselves, while being sold as a stand-alone, Wolfenstein : The Old Blood is more of a DLC than a real new game. By adding around 10 hours of gameplay at a very attractive price (20€), Machinegames treats us with a very nice add to the IP. A must-buy for every Wolfenstein enthusiast, a must consider for FPS gamers.- JeuxActu

For less than 15 euros, Techland gives us an honest game which can stand the comparison with blockbusters. The developers took great care in making a nice environment through the use of cel-shading for graphics, music, and the voice that makes the game entertaining. But Call of Juarez Gunslinger ain't faultless. The game is quite short, the AI and the dullness of the gameplay are serious faults. Gunslinger is an arcade title that you should play like an arcade game: intensively and quickly!- JeuxActu

2K Games and Visual Concepts can finally breathe : NBA 2K22 is the episode of reconciliation. With a Career mode which has been enriched and is gradually transformed into a Second Life game with sport (be careful with off-topic anyway), the MyTeam mode which includes the Seasons system and gameplay which tends even more towards simulation, NBA 2K22 is clearly a really good game.- JeuxActu

Yo-Kai Watch wants to make it simple, but it's far too simple for anyone, even for the kids Level-5 want to attract. The game hence becomes boring and hardly justify the gap of difficulty between bosses and random fights. A shame, with its great graphics and interesting concept, it could have been really addictive.- JeuxActu

Dying Light 2 keeps all the qualities of the first episode, and won't disappoint the lovers of zombies, parkour and weapon tinkering. Despite relatively detailed faces and some beautiful panoramas, the game has some issues, like an annoying open world, which multiplies the tricks already seen elsewhere, especially in Ubisoft productions. We were expecting something more new and fresh.- JeuxActu

Top Spin is back in 2024. An almost surreal phrase after 13 years of absence. And yet, through persistence and belief, the best tennis game of all time is back, and it does not disappoint. It must be said that 2K Games and Hangar 13 took as few risks as possible, by resuming the basics of Top Spin 4 gameplay. Readjustments and some modifications were however made to give more consistency and depth, and erase the few aspects that could still be improved, such as serving, volleying and a clear increase in fouls or balls going out of bounds. It was the best compromise to make in any case, as the gameplay was already divine at the time and has reached unparalleled heights today. More than ever, timing and placement must be managed to the millimeter to be sure to hit exactly and in the right place, which guarantees an even crazier margin for progress, even when you were already a top spin 4 leader. With Top Spin 2K25, never has a tennis game been so varied in its exchanges, and the fluidity of its rhythm.- JeuxActu
