Outlast: Whistleblower is a good DLC with at least two big advantages; it's not boring as Outlast, which in the long run could become repetitive, and is much more driven side gore-violence, with some really disturbing and excessive scenes.

A solid tactical rpg that offers many satisfying turn-based combats and a fascinating dark fantasy re-imagining of the Arthurian myth.

Silent Hill f is a compelling yet flawed return for Konami’s iconic horror series: narratively strong and visually striking, it immerses players in a haunting psychological nightmare set in the eerie Japanese town of Ebisugaoka. Hinako's touching and unsettling story is the highlight, but the experience is held back by basic combat, limited enemy types, and a design that requires multiple playthroughs to fully understand the plot without enough gameplay variety. Despite interesting ideas and solid presentation, the game loses momentum over time, feeling repetitive and lessening its emotional impact.

With an excellent combat system and a good work on the source material, Neverwinter could be one of the best MMORPGs out there. Too bad the end-game and the group mechanics tend to be so repetitive.

A fine modernization of an old classic, funny and clever enough to entertain in the few hours needed to complete it.

The third chapter in the Bravely saga fails to improve the main issues of the previous games: while Bravely Default II offers an astounding depth for its job system, that requires players to really understand its mechanisms, the game lacks all of those elements that make a JRPG really impactful, from a meaningful story to a deep characterization.

There's something magnetic in Double Fine's Costume Quest that makes you keep playing despite the lack of variety in gameplay's basic mechanics and it's the amazing visual style of the game, besides obviously the always funny Tim's dialogues.

Potatoma Seeks the Troof is a good game that can be really frustrating. It’s not the platformer of your life, but it’s satisfying to beat.

A fun single player version of Ruzzle, with some pay to win issues, but still fun in its own way.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is a visually gorgeous game marred by a very bad case of micromanagement excess. Dinosaurs are great, there is a lot of content and the overall idea is very good, but there is just to much busywork being forced upon the player to enjoy the experience fully.

A more than decent (but not perfect) VR transposition for the fun and hellish rhythm shooter from Lab42 Games and The Outsiders, which even in this new version proves to have character, even if the flaws of two years ago are back as they were.

Evil West is not the most ambitious game of the year, but can still provide some fun thanks to its solid action gameplay and its many satisfying combat encounters with all sorts of vampires and monsters.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered embraces nostalgia with excellent visual enhancements and plenty of extra content. However, its dated gameplay and rough edges make it far more suited to longtime fans than younger players.

With three heartfelt stories about the meaning of the relationships framed in A Twilight Zone atmosphere, Last Stop is an ambitious interactive comedy-drama which succeeds to deliver its message, even if sometimes at the expense of gameplay experience.

Two great games in one shallow package. Both Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night are still enjoyable, but Konami could and should have done something more.

Under its great visuals it lays a common endless runner game, with solid mechanics and a lot of aliens to shoot. It’s kinda fun, without a real spark.

Still a great twin stick shooter, but Ultra is just a lazy port from the original PS3 game. All that was so convincing of the PS Vita game (Super Stardust Delta) has been lost.

Transformers Devastation is lots of fun for every Autobots lover that wants to lead good old Optimus Prime and friends against the evil Decepticons, through many and well designed combats with a deep fighting system. Unfortunately, the game features poorly designed levels and a weak story that is not going to make you want to play it again once you'll get to the ending credits.

With its old-school mechanics and feel, ShootMania Storm will be welcomed by all those players who are looking for a no-frills jump-and-gun experience. Simple and highly competitive, it might be a bit too hardcore for some, with its strong focus on the e-sport scene.

Wonderbook has finally another game! Moonbot Studios created an interactive cartoon aimed to the younger audience, with compelling and funny characters and a nice "film noir" plot. Game dynamics were more varied in Book of Spells, but here the gameplay is more active, with the book rarely sitting on the floor doing nothing. Pity that it is over soon: just a couple of hours to play it from start to end.

Young Souls has a beat-em-up heart and an RPG brain. And, at the end of the day, when you jump into the fray, your heart commands. The action is compelling and has a good pace, and the self-irony that reigns in each text gives the game that extra something that helps it build its own identity.
