Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden is a boardgame videogame with JRPG elements and a fascinating, touching story, featuring a multifaceted and enjoyable cast of characters. Keiichi Okabe's artistic direction and compositions are as always noteworthy, something that encourages to explore the game world by indulging in his symphonies. Net of this, however, there are few changes on the playful side, despite the fact that the game difficulty has been slightly raised compared to the predecessor without proposing something too demanding. Longevity is certainly a point in its favor, even if the side activities aren't as engaging as the rest of the main story is.

Call Of The Sea is a good debut, that uses puzzle and riddle-based gameplay to tell an atmospheric story. Its weakness lies in a conception of riddles that is not always very clear, source of some moments of frustration, and in a limited duration. It will probably not remain among the most notable examples of the genre, but we must give credit to the fact that it manages to offer an alternative vision of the Lovecraftian narrative universe, potentially capable of satisfying those who do not always want monsters or scares.

GRID Legends goes on the most arcade soul of Codemasters by focusing on quantity and fun. Driven to Glory, the story mode, is quite a disaster and the Career progression is a bit chaotic, but the game has so much content to offer to enjoy. Despite a few small clichés and a merely functional technical department, Amnesia: Rebirth manages to be consistent to the end, offering a profound and terrifying experience. If the woodworm insinuated by a videogame manages to escape from its content by undermining the user-container, then it will have performed the most difficult task: to push to reflection through a silent path of transference and identification, to really live outside the fictitious nightmare that created it.

Thanks to its unique mechanics (the Karakuri, the more or less permanent constructions fielded by the player), Wild Hearts manages to build truly lethal fights, in which the strategic use of resources and the study of the area really makes the difference. It manages to make exploration an active process, which passes through the customization of the environment and allows the player to really play a hunter at work, immersed in a world with fantastic traits. Action and RPG, in this case, are really interlaced. It's just a pity for the raw state in which it arrived at this debut, some stumbling blocks on a technical level (but the more serious ones have been solved) and a forgettable narrative part: elements that, in the middle of the action, can also lose weight, but that a high-end (price) game should still find a way to take care of it properly.

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is a heartfelt and massive tribute to the 20th anniversary of Geo Stelar's journey. While the newly added voice acting, the rich virtual museum, and the modern QoL features are fantastic additions, the surgical preservation of the original code brings along severely outdated design choices. The tedious backtracking, unskippable animations, and a clunky one-at-a-time quest system hold the experience back from true greatness.
