The new FC isn’t a complete copy-paste of its predecessor and does bring improvements with certain new features. It’s definitely the best football game on the market right now and one of the top sports games overall, but there’s certainly room for improvement.

GRID Legends is a hell of a fun arcade ride with a serious pedigree that continues the evolution started in the reboot from 2019. However, the FMV story mode is something we could easily do without.

WWE 2K22 seems like a game that was promised to us a long time ago, we finally have a good WWE game that actually looks and works properly, has OK graphics and a system that may open the door to new players.

If you gave someone who absolutely despises 3D platformers to make one, you’d probably get something like Epic Mickey Rebrushed. Even though this Remaster looks nicer than the original, it only managed to remind us how disappointing the original game was. And if you are new to the series, the 2022. version undoubtedly represents a very good starting position thanks to tutorials that have also matured well from season to season.

The foundation of the game is strong, drawing from the two-generations-old TopSpin 4. However, the lack of content, weak career mode, and mandatory "Virtual Currency" detract from the overall experience. While it's exciting to see TopSpin make a comeback, it falls short of expectations.

WarioWare: Move It! brings the very familiar chaotic fun that we are used to from the games in this series, returning the focus to the somewhat forgotten motion-controls. This approach brings a lot of new creative solutions for controlling the ever-fresh micro-games, but it also overcomplicates things for a lot of new players.

Sniper Elite: Resistance is another addition to the series that uses the old tried and tested recipe with satisfying sniper mechanics and open mission design, but it lacks significant innovation and suffers from technical problems. Inconsistent opponent AI and outdated graphics limit it, making it a game mostly for dedicated fans.

The Ezio Collection for the Switch reminds us of how far the Assassin's Creed series has come. Unfortunately, apart from the fact that these games are now available on Nintendo, this compilation does not bring anything essentially new or correct the six-year-old problems brought about by the original remasters.

Lost Records: Bloom and Rage relatively successfully captures the essence of nostalgia and mystery in a completely original new adventure in the spirit of Life is Strange, but the gameplay is too simple and passive, even compared to previous Don't Nod releases.

As a successor to the Battle Network series, it focuses on card-based tactical combat rather than classic Mega Man action, meaning it will primarily appeal to fans of this style, as well as a niche group of players with strong nostalgia for these DS titles.

Boltgun is a great blend of old and new and of a Dark SciFi franchise thats widely beloved. It has its flaws and minor issues concerning gun balancing and map design but it is a great game for boomer shooter lovers and Warhammer fans alike. It bathes in Emperor's light!

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a truly incredible homage to old-school JRPGs that will hit the "sweet spot" for nostalgic players with its mechanics, story, and graphics. Additionally, it is an excellent game for new players who want to experience the magic of the predecessors of today's JRPGs.

The long-forgotten point & click classic Beneath a Steel Sky finally gets a sequel that takes us back to a completely different time in many ways. After many years, Revolution Software is demonstrating that they are still able to create an exciting story based on old fears about the future that are even more relevant today than before. Even new players who are not familiar with the previous instalment will get a very well-rounded story and experience, but they will still have to invest a little more than in other today's derivatives of the once-popular genre.

The first volume of the new Metal Gear collection brings several legendary titles from the beginning of this once extremely popular series, along with a couple of never-before-released bonus content that definitely has something for old fans. However, KONAMI's laziness to devote more time to polishing these titles makes the compilation seem like only a half-sincere attempt to bring players' attention back to Snake and crew.

A legendary Japanese RPG like Chrono Cross deserves much better treatment than this devastatingly bad remaster.

Date Everything is definitely not for everyone, but those who dare to give it a try and dive a little deeper will be pleasantly surprised by the quality and the love poured into this dating sim.

Emio - The Smiling Man is ok. The game is faithful to its 80s Famicom roots and it does have an intriguing story to tell. However, it’s full of dull sections, outdated mechanics and unremarkable characters that almost ruined our experience.

We can recommend Discounty to all fans of management sims who don’t mind essentially working a supermarket shift in their free time - but don’t expect anything revolutionary.

Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake still retains the outstanding atmosphere and story of the original, but severe technical issues and an outdated design that hasn’t been sufficiently modernized seriously undermine the overall experience. In the end, this remake feels more like a reminder that some things from the past might be better left there.
