    Anno 117: Pax Romana
    Anno 117: Pax Romana is beautiful, unexpectedly complex, but also deliberately incomplete. It has been released as a base version of something that is supposed to represent the golden age of Ancient Rome — but only after about three to six DLCs. The more tired fans of the genre, who have poured thousands of hours into Anno 1800, may end up drinking sugar water already in the early stages of the game, but our complaining does not negate the fact that this is an overall excellent sequel to a beloved series, set in an even more beloved historical period that we have missed so much.

    Octopath Traveler 0
    Octopath Traveler 0 is a huge and highly enjoyable return to the classic JRPG formula, featuring excellent turn-based combat and a smartly refined mobile DNA. That said, it doesn’t bring anything fundamentally new to the table - just another 100 hours of pure HD-2D JRPG indulgence, which genre fans certainly won’t mind.

    Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy
    Even with a couple of technical shortcomings and the fact that the game needs a few patches to correct them, Eidos Montreal made a masterpiece with a lot of love and attention that will be remembered for all time. Marvel fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief and indulge in the new space adventures of Peter Quill’s gang.

    Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is a beautifully crafted revival of two JRPG cornerstones that still hold up remarkably well, now enhanced with modern presentation and a few smart quality-of-life improvements. If you want to explore the true origins of the genre and see where Final Fantasy and other giants first took shape, this collection is an absolute must.

    Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster
    The fourth and sixth instalments are most often cited as the highlights of the 2D series, while five was always considered a weird Japanese game with a job system that few have played. However, from today's point of view, especially after playing the great Pixel Remaster version, I can say that Final Fantasy V is perhaps the purest classic JRPG experience in the series and a collection of all the best ideas from the 2D era. If you like this series and the genre in general, don’t skip on this one. Thank me later!

SIFU's combat system and atmosphere are highly addictive, and the advancement system will put you in front of some difficult choices. The flow and speed of the fights are impressive.     Final Fantasy XVI: The Rising Tide
    Rising Tide offers an interesting addition to the story in Final Fantasy XVI with a slightly different atmosphere and the most challenging content yet, which might deter casual players. Aside from a new Eikon and a few additional surprises, it doesn't add much new or impact the already concluded main story. It's mainly for hardcore fans of the sixteenth installment who want a bit more of the same.
