God of War Sons of Sparta is a Metroidvania prequel that is neither the best in its series nor the best in its genre, but it offers a story that serves to reveal a lesser-known and more humble side of Kratos. It commits no cardinal sins and is enjoyable, but bearing the God of War name, it could have offered much more.

Magic Twins is quite an original puzzle game to enjoy in co-op mode with another player (local only), mixing elements from games like Puzzle Bubble or Plants vs. Zombies, in varied levels that balance action and reflexes with strategy. However, the difficulty is often frustrating, specially if you try to play it solo.

Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists can be a disappointment to the series' fans, as it left behind its main focus (RPG) to embrace the management of a city, with simple and route mechanics.
