Almost five years after its initial release, Paradox's sci-fi epic graces Sony's console and finally brings the fully fledged experience and thrill of managing every aspect of a galactic empire, from sociopolitical decisions to starship designs. Tantalus' port successfully translates the PC controls, enabling players to boldly go where no other Strategy game has gone before on consoles, and it's a journey worth making.

Desperados 3 is the latest addition to the niche real-time tactics genre and it succeeds in everything it promises. Complex stealth tactics, dynamic and diverse Wild West environments and playable characters, evoke the player’s imagination and poke him to think out of the box, utilizing the available gaming tools.

As much as stylized in presentation and as thought-provoking (story-wise) it wants to be, Liberated falls apart due to its clunky gameplay and uninspiring narrative. With superficial characters in a hollow view of real-world problems it is no surprise the game comes through as a nihilistic and cynical approach thematically. There is potential though. The comic-like presentation needs more robust gameplay and a bold narrative that does not try to please everyone.

The Last of Us Part II is a true rollercoaster of strong feelings that are elicited from some bold story decisions. Huntdown is definitely aiming in "emulating" the scenery, brutality, and b-movie aesthetic of the 80s action movies, but from the lenses of an 16-bit, pixel art game that would fit in perfectly in the arcade cabinets of their golden age. Need we say more? Just enjoy its simplistic albeit utterly enjoyable action.

Atelier Dusk Trilogy -and generally the Atelier series- mostly relates to an audience that does not seek a major challenge or important stories and plots with memorable characters, since the only thing it offers is an experience that thrives through harvest and crafting.

A dialogue-based puzzle indie game with a few gameplay twists, a well developed storyline, and inspired and realistic conversations with variable approaches, but with a lack of atmosphere building elements such as voice acting and animations.

Even though at this point many of the tragic problems the game had at its release have been addressed, WWE 2K20 is a shadow of the former games of the series, and only capable of delivering some fun only to the most avid fans of the franchise.

A decent step forward for the SaGa Series that maintains the familiar features (replayabillity, high challenge etc.) of the franchise. However, the intense grinding will probably discourage even some of the most hardcore JRPG fans.

Stranger’s Wrath HD, remastered and enhanced for the Switch, does some things better that its previous iterations, but fails in other aspects. Totally recommended to Switch owners who have never experienced the game before, and to long-time fans as well, but until the next Oddworld adventure arrives, it might be best to search for the game somewhere else.

An ode to the Dragon Ball Z era of the franchise. As a game it has its share of flaws and problems, but as a tribute and a fan service, Kakarot is probably the best thing that has happened to avid fans of the anime series.

Arise has a charming visual style in the vein of a more simplistic Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, including a somewhat diverse time manipulation element. Nevertheless, the quality between levels is a bit uneven and the developer’s effort for symbolic touches misses the mark quite often.
