We'd love to talk about Requiem as a masterpiece, the best of the three most recent numbered titles in the series. Unfortunately, despite a first installment of the adventure capable of achieving excellent results, we can't do so, nor can we hide our bitter taste as longtime fans. This is because the success of the overall experience is partially compromised precisely when more space is given to an icon of the series, the protagonist of an action-horror section that simply doesn't live up to the previous one, though not without its own beautiful moments. We conclude by saying that yes, Requiem is still worth playing, even just to experience its evolved "zombies" and to discover how it looks to the series' past (and future).

There's content, and the multiplayer still works. The graphics have been enhanced in a good way. A great chance to relive Marcus's story.

Although the game introduces the prestige system and non-hex maps, it remains faithful to the basic structure of many other congeners. In this sense, the production by Oxide Games is more of a refined restyling than a Copernican revolution. Its new mechanics undoubtedly offer fresh ideas and compelling challenges and the attention to the smallest details further elevates the value of Ara. However, the complexity in resource management and a war component that does not hold up to comparison with the rest of the experience are less brilliant aspects of the package. In any case, we are faced with a valuable production, capable of intriguing fans of the reference genre.

An abundant playful offer (with lots of battle royale) but reasoned, combined with a first-rate technical realization that provides the player with all the tools to personalize the game experience according to their tastes, they are just some of the winning cards on which can count the portable reduction of the famous franchise.

Even on PS4 Trine 2 shines: this complete edition is a great bargain for platform lovers.

The defects of the second chapter have remained more or less unchanged, and we believe that the developers could have tried to file them with more conviction. Having said that, the work of the Polish collective convinced us, so we can only recommend the experience to fans of the genre.

WRC 3 is one of the best rally experiences of this generation. Genuine in the driving feeling and complete on the structural side of the production. A must have for every passionate driving gamer.

Even after 15 years from the publication of the first Ninja Gaiden it is easy to appreciate its majesty and all the nuances of the combat system proposed by Itagak.

Fragments of Him deals with a complex theme, not so easily represented in videogames: death. During the two-hour long path that leads the player to the end, the Sassybot team ask us to reflect on the sense and the consequences of the loss, but also on the value of objects and memories. Whether or not Fragments of Him was able to reach its goal may be subjective, but the game and the concept are still admirable.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy gave us positive vibes from the moment we set foot on Milan. A solid gunplay, the importance assigned to the cooperation between the protagonists and the phenomenal script lead us to widely approve Eidos Montréal's fresh and original vision of the precious license of the House of Ideas. However, there are some reserves of a technical and playful nature, accompanied by a fairly limited level of customization. Whether or not you are a die-hard fan of the most ramshackle supergroup in the Multiverse, let yourself be enchanted by the extravagant style and personalities of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and set off with them for the stars.

The work is raw, but not ruthless to the point of being frustrating, especially for those who are used to the "winner takes all" policy.

If you are looking for a peculiar title, thanks to its themes that travel on the border between the sacred and the profane, you should give it a chance: the second crusade of the Penitent is an experience you will not forget.

Far Cry 5 is the return of a great series that set a new standard for all FPS with open world structure and free roaming dynamics. Yet, despite its undeniable qualities, it is a product that unfortunately fails to excel from any point of view.

Thanks to the quality of each table and excellent reproduction of physics, The Pinball Arcade is a title highly recommended to fans of the genre or those who have always been intrigued by the this kind of games.

What might have seemed a classic shooter in dynamics and uncertain in the story has instead proved to be a shooter with addictive gameplay, and capable of distinguishing itself for the density and richness of content. Unfortunately, the campaign remains subdued on the narrative front, but the gameplay sculpted by People Can Fly has something magnetic.

Pit People is a game full of madness on the side of the story and the characters, but does not offer anything really innovative in terms of playful structure and pure gameplay.

Dawntrail marks the beginning of a major new story arc for the Warrior of Light and his band of heroes. An often didactic story with a sometimes staid rhythm is accompanied by some of the best gameplay innovations introduced in the saga. The two new classes are fun and perform at the right point, but the older jobs have not yet been balanced at their best. In any case, we look forward to hearing about the future evolution of this exciting new epic.
