Trinity Team takes advantage of the experience accumulated with the first episode and creates a sequel that is richer and more refined in every aspect. Bud Spencer & Terence Hill: Slaps and Beans 2 is a heartfelt homage to a duo who wrote the history of Italian cinema, with music, references and quotes capable of honoring the legend of Carlo Pedersoli and Mario Girotti. In general, we are faced with a solid beat 'em up, varied at the right point thanks also to the presence of numerous minigames, splendid to see as well as to listen to. Between some hitbox problems and sudden spikes in difficulty, there are some rough edges, yet the title has what it takes to intrigue fans of the genre. If Bud and Terence have played an important role in your life, then we can't tell you anything other than: make it yours immediately, otherwise we'll get angry!- Everyeye.it

Needless to deny, however, that limitations such as the lack of private lobbies in the multiplayer and the framerate blocked at 30 frames per second on all versions, even on mid-gen consoles, are quite heavy in such a precise, advanced and punitive product.- Everyeye.it

Hindsight offers an experience lasting only a few hours, but with a strong emotional value. Despite an essential gameplay to say the least, Joel McDonald's creation flows smoothly and without uncertainty, without generating boredom or giving in to monotony. Only at the center of the scene, the fluctuating relationship between Mary and her mother turns into the stage chosen by the team to tell the importance of empathy and the continuous search for mutual understanding. An inner journey that lives on the border between the USA and Japan, Hindsight looks to an audience of curious gamers, willing to sacrifice articulated interactivity for a few hours in favor of a markedly intimate story.- Everyeye.it

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is the worthy successor of the first chapter and collects many of its positive aspects, introducing innovations that broaden Milestone's proposal in terms of game modes, tracks and vehicle fleet. Thanks to the addition of jumping in particular, the gameplay can count on a new level of depth which goes well with the variety of challenges available. The pleasant campaign offers dozens of hours of gameplay and the possibilities offered by the track editor could be able to increase the longevity of the product in a concrete way. In short, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is fun, varied and takes several steps forward compared to its predecessor: if you are a fan of these iconic toy cars, it shouldn't escape you.- Everyeye.it

Another Fisherman's Tale proved to be a sequel that lived up to expectations. The duration of the adventure finally does justice to the production value, while the new mechanics based on the ability to manipulate the protagonist's body guarantee a fresh and original approach to solving puzzles. Net of some flaws in the control system, we appreciated the greater physical involvement required of the player during the experience. The narrative sector pushes us to want to know more about Bob and his daughter Nina, accompanied by a narrative voice that skilfully mixes lightness and poetry.- Everyeye.it

Yakuza Kiwami 3 is a worthwhile way to revisit one of the classic adventures in the series, which, despite some shortcomings, was somewhat underestimated upon its initial release. The remake in the Dragon Engine faithfully reconstructs memorable scenes centered around iconic characters, and it includes welcome additions and a few missed opportunities. It's a shame, however, about a particular narrative choice, which, especially in the way it was presented, we found difficult to accept and which will likely displease long-time fans. On the other hand, Dark Ties effectively enriches the character of Mine, and more generally, the package created by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio offers many hours of good entertainment, even if it's not without filler content and elements that don't quite fit the characters. Yet, there's reason to rejoice: finally, the real Yakuza is back.- Everyeye.it

After few months in witch our Wiis had been abused by girlfriends and parents, it's time to destroy our Balance Board, hide his battery and take again the Wiimote, thanks to the first big hardcore title from Sega. House of the Dead: Overkill is trash, pulp and wild. It's not only aesthetically perfect, but also a exalting gaming experience. Despite presenting the same structural conformation of the episodes published 30 years ago and without trying to correct the slight congenital distortions, Emio, the Smiling Man, offers a story robust and flowing enough to keep players glued for its entire duration, provided that you compromise with an old gameplay concept in which the player's agency is reduced to the minimum terms, and which often results in a banal cycle of trial and error. In any case, this new chapter has once again proven Sakamoto's talent in the narrative field, so if you are passionate about the genre and do not disdain a classic-style visual novel, this is a horror story that you absolutely cannot miss. The underlying concept is delightful and its application is applause: there is a lot, a lot of inventiveness in the way in which always new and stimulating situations are proposed, daughters of a creative inspiration that embellishes what is still very effectively. a basic play structure, but not for this thin one. It lacks depth, but it is a defect that weighs relatively, because in what it wants to do, celebrating with joy the most fervent imagination, the childish one, is instead fully successful; and with such a transport that it also reaches us who are mature.- Everyeye.it

Despite boasting an excellent cast of characters (with the exception of Asbel himself) and a combat system second only to the more recent Tales of Arise, during the PS3 era Tales of Graces f was not particularly well received by Western audiences, for reasons that we still struggle to fully understand. Although the remaster added relatively little to the original offering, such as the Japanese dubbing and some quality of life improvements, we are of the opinion that the multiplatform re-release of Tales of Graces f was more than necessary. Sixteen years after its debut on Nintendo Wii (a version never marketed on our side of the globe) and thirteen since the launch of the European edition for PlayStation 3, this time the story, the protagonists, the extraordinary combat system and last but not least the soundtrack of Tales of Graces could realistically win over fans of the genre and of Bandai Namco's franchise, which have also increased thanks to the most recent episodes. Tales of Kenzera: Zau is yet more proof that the metroidvania genre can offer great satisfaction, whatever story you try to tell. The one written by Surgent is a story of loss and revenge which, also thanks to the immense charm of the chosen setting, will remain seared in your memory for a long time.
