Feb 23, 2024Inkulinati offers a unique experience capable of masterfully combining tactical elements with a fascinating setting. The mechanics based on medieval "marginalia" are implemented with expertise, giving depth to a gameplay suitable both for strategic veterans and for neophytes willing to immerse themselves in the rules with the patience of a monk scribe. Despite some small flaws in the interface and controls, the work done by the Yaza Games development team shines for its artistic creativity and attention to detail, making Inkulinati an essential title for lovers of the genre.

Feb 25, 2024Inkulinati has a very strong artwork and fantastic universe that includes middle age theme and cute characters. In this turn-based strategy game a rabbit’s butt is more powerful than a sword or bow.

Feb 27, 2024Inkulinati is a fantastic strategy game and one that is refreshingly accessible to players not immersed in that genre. The sheer charm of the whole aesthetic is clear to see and the units all have a huge amount of personality. The range of skills and possible approaches ensure that the battles remain enjoyable throughout whilst mechanics like the boredom stat encourage you to mix things up as you go. All in all, this is one of the best strategy games I’ve played in a while and you should definitely be prepared to get medieval.

Mar 5, 2024Inkulinati is an entertaining strategy puzzle game with an interesting medieval graphical style. Only in this game could a snail prove to be the most powerful unit on the battlefield. The campaign lends itself well to multiple replays. Plus there’s local hotseat multiplayer. Get to it.

Feb 28, 2024In the first one or two hours of play, “Inkulinati” still feels quite cumbersome. However, once you have worked your way through the numerous tutorial lessons and internalized the basic principles, the title starts to pull you in and creates wonderful gameplay moments for lovers of turn-based strategy games. The Monty Phython-inspired humor is also appealing and graphically “Inkulinati” is something very special thanks to its unique medieval style. Plays great on Steam Deck too.

Mar 11, 2024Inkulinati stands out with a crazy setting and tone for a game that executes the turn-based strategy style really well, even though it stumbles over confusing controls and an uninspired interface.
