    Inkulinati stands out with a crazy setting and tone for a game that executes the turn-based strategy style really well, even though it stumbles over confusing controls and an uninspired interface.

    Inkulinati is an entertaining strategy puzzle game with an interesting medieval graphical style. Only in this game could a snail prove to be the most powerful unit on the battlefield. The campaign lends itself well to multiple replays. Plus there’s local hotseat multiplayer. Get to it.

    In the first one or two hours of play, “Inkulinati” still feels quite cumbersome. However, once you have worked your way through the numerous tutorial lessons and internalized the basic principles, the title starts to pull you in and creates wonderful gameplay moments for lovers of turn-based strategy games. The Monty Phython-inspired humor is also appealing and graphically “Inkulinati” is something very special thanks to its unique medieval style. Plays great on Steam Deck too.
