Immortals Fenyx Rising conquered us since its debut. Now that we have played it thoroughly, we can say that Ubisoft has given us a small masterpiece better than Watch Dogs Legion and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Empire of Sin offers strategical depth, managerial challenge and, only occasionally, tactical fun. Lack of boldness in the tactical department, some technical glitches and an amateurish interface, keep this title from becoming a true classic.

Another challenger in the crowded action-roguelite genre, ScourgeBringer delivers a challenging quest blended in lightning-fast gameplay.

Godfall is visually pleasing, with a responsive gameplay and a nice level of challenge. Unfortunately, the narrative is mediocre and the game system appears almost entirely devoid of temper, which makes the game a little more than an adequate forerunner for the new gaming generation.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a Breath of the Wild prequel presented as a mosou game. A spectacular narration, an entertaining and compelling gameplay with tons of monster on screen that push hard Switch’s hardware limits, though some frame-rate slowdowns, will keep you busy until the arrival of Breath of the Wild’s sequel.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is a successful return to the origins for the series. Treyarch builds on the roots of the famous military FPS to make it accessible and super fun once again. It's ironic that the real killer-application of this new generation of consoles is a remake. On the other hand, Demon's Souls is a masterpiece in pure FromSoftware fashion, and Bluepoint Games are absolute masters at their craft. The Falconeer is a charming old-style shooter developed by a passionate one-man studio, partially spoiled by a fragmented plot and a repetitive quest design.

While not particularly deep in combat system and level design, Ys Origin is still enjoyable today just like 14 years ago, thanks to reactive controls and an extreme fluidity of the experience, also on the narrative front.

Let’s Sing Queen is a music game that takes the player on a trip through different decades. If you love Queen you can’t miss this game.

NBA 2K21 is the same game of last year with some minor updates and a brand new story for MyCareer mode. Though the simulation is very good and it feels like a very realistic basketball game, all of the game modes orbit around microtransactions and loot boxes, especially MyTeam mode, where you will soon face super strong teams built spending real money. No matter how much or how well you play, competing at high level often feels too much difficult.

The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu presents is the ninth game pack, taking us to a galactic world, a stellar destination to rest and have fun. Which side of the Force will you be on?

Star Renegades is a beautiful turn-based strategy RPG with an interesting combat system that is always different, thanks to its procedurally generated dungeons.

Windbound is a chill survival game, a sort of an ASMR videogame. Unfortunately, its narrative is poor and evanescent and it restricts the game experience.

Marvel's Avengers is a fun and explosive game but, given the importance of the license to which it is based, can only be considered half successful.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning removed some dust from the textures but left the polygonal models and the user interface almost identical. Both of these elements would have needed a little more work to be modernized just enough to keep up with more recent productions.

RPG Maker MV finally arrives on PS4 and Switch after five years its launch on PC. This porting feels too compromised without mouse and keyboard support, without the PC community and the chance to create commercial games for PC, browser web and mobile. Just grab the game on PC, as it's a much better version counting on the support of a solid community.
