The actual gaming portion of this package is painfully unintuitive and fails to deliver any sort of experience of lasting worth. A food analogy properly sums it up. Pizza, salad, and cake are all good on their own, but haphazardly mash the three together results in an unpalatable mess. Sadly, such is the case with What’s Cooking.

Jake Hunter could have been a good game if players were offered more to stay entertained with than a few multiple choice questions and a middling story.

Once I had committed a few hours to the game and was deep inside Venice leveling up and completing quests, I was indeed drawn into the game. But the sordid path it took to get me there and the unnecessary complications of the map were beyond frustrating and would turn away most gamers.

The problem with Prison Escape is that it's just a buggy little piece of crap. If I were playing this game for my own enjoyment instead of reviewing it I would take this back to the store so fast I would be able catch myself coming out of the door withit.

If this game were available for free in a cereal box I still wouldn't recommend it - but it would make it easier to swallow.

The folks at Firefly knew what they had to do to win back Stronghold fans, and they mostly did it: Everything that annoyed people about Stronghold 2 is gone, and some great new features have been added. Nonetheless, Stronghold 3 needs a few patches and maybe a price cut before it can starting winning new fans for the franchise.

You may have a modicum of fun clambering around and slashing guards, but Rush N' Attack: Ex Patriot is a cheap, tepid re-visitation to a game that wasn't all that memorable to begin with.

It's very generic, very hard to control, and it simply doesn't hold your attention. It's not the worst generic fighting game out there, but it's certainly not one of the better ones.

If I had to pick something I really enjoyed about the game, I'd have to go with the loading screens. I miss the time when games tried to keep the player busy, even in little ways, while they wait for the game to load. So yeah, there's that.

I think the developers have cloaked a budget title into the guise of a full priced affair, which is way worse than some thug stealing a dude's wallet. Watch out Universal Vivendi....you could be the subject of the Predator's next rampage.

It can definitely be appealing but imprecise controls, lack of missions and mission variety, and extremely short length (only three levels) detract from the game's otherwise enjoyable experience.

The crafts in this game are cumbersome to operate. The collision detection system is faulty, as you can't seem to make it into tight situations without hitting something - which is usually nothing.

This game was about as close to "painful" as I've seen in recent memory.

More style than substance. This package is little more than a collection of his tunes, a reprisal of the movie and some generic gaming fodder that we've all seen and played in other games such as "Max Payne," "Dead To Rights," "True Crime" - that do it much better.

There's some fun to be had in the Time Trial mode, but only because you don't have to struggle with the inadequacy of the rest of the game. Online play may eventually offer some fun as well, but right now it doesn't seem to work.

Instead of a Superhero game this one is more of a go here and punch this guy, repeat and move on. Not even die-hard fans like Vaughn would have many nice things to say of this version.

It's a shame that a clever concept was not given the care required to shape an epic quest with a completely fresh hero. From the short story and flaccid combat to the poor technical skill in the music and visuals, a few scattered collectibles and a handful of Achievements/Trophies are not enough to justify a sixty dollar purchase. In fact, it's probably not even worth the few dollars to rent unless you're a diehard fan of the series who must play every game, whether good or bad.

Unless the girls that receive Barbie Groovy Games as a gift are too stupid to notice, Barbie makes only a few brief appearances in the game.

The PSP version was really a letdown. Aside from the counterintuitive controls, the backsliding graphics, and the very short play time, I would just say that I felt completely disappointed by my Transformers: The Game experience on my PSP.

There are enough games that you might find some slight enjoyment out of a couple of them, but overall, it's a low-quality offering.

A really uninspired racing game. It seems to be aimed at kids as young as a fetus with the exception of the sudden increase in difficulty that even gave me a headache. And not because it was challenging but because it's annoyingly difficult due to the lack of control.

In its battle system, Zoids Assault has the germ of a great game. The idea is executed so half-heartedly, however, that it's hard to imagine what the developers were thinking. So, many minor tweaks could have made this so much better. Factor in a price that's at least quadruple what it should be, and it's not just a bad game, it's an insult.

Starship Troopers is a game that underscores the principal of diminishing returns which means the more you play it, the less you'll like it. If you must, enjoy it in small doses.

A passable Wii sporting title that brings a few backyard favorites to your living room. Unfortunately, the imprecise controls don't let the game achieve its full potential. Consequently, the title is nothing more than a bit more fodder for Sony and Microsoft fanboys to point their fingers and laugh at.

A few pacing issues, visual blips, and minor quirks with the menu presentation aren't a complete killjoy considering the rest of the game is rock-solid.

Even at twenty bucks, which turns out to be two bucks a game, there are games that I wouldn't ever consider putting eight quarters into if they were in an airport arcade and I had a ten-hour layover. I would just opt for a nap instead.

Tony Hawk: Ride is not the broken junk heap some critics would have you believe. However, it is far from the revolutionary title Tony Hawk and Activision were counting on. In fact, it is actually a less enjoyable outing than lackluster games in the series such as Project 8 and American Wasteland. Still, if you're a skater, have the patience of a saint, or are a glutton for punishment (and frustration), there is a novel, skate-sim experience that can be uncovered.

Snood 2 is really just an excuse for a cheap, portable puzzle game. However, it's the kind of game that should be on a phone and not on a sophisticated system such as the DS.

Were it a $10 WiiWare title, we'd still have to give it a thumbs down. There's almost no focus, there's little reward for your time and money, and the production exhibits an extreme lack of care.

SFG seems larger than it is because each campaign has its own flavor and unique perspective, but slogging uphill through one nation's campaign is such a test of patience that it's hard to imagine what would drive someone to willingly play through a second or third time.

An experienced gamer would find this under-stimulating and be able to blow through it in a matter of hours. I've certainly spend more money, in less time, on worse things, but it doesn't take an accounting genius to tell me that I've got to stop wasting my money on games like this.

Once you get past the graphics you will be confronted with a cold and sterile fighting engine. The game is barren in the area of options, menu and unlockables.

I thought after the growing pains of the first few levels, the game and I would fall into our groove and things would improve...Try as I might, it just never happened.

With a decent amount of work and attention to details, the sequel could be worth playing. Unfortunately, this one is just not ready yet, and that is written in the frequent bugs.

Electronic Arts not only should have kept this cat in the bag, but said bag should have been weighted down and tossed in the river...This stinker will be budget priced before you can say "kitty litter".

Just like the first entry, this one doesn't try to escape from the simple button mashing, combo street brawler.

Creating a worthwhile karate or martial arts sim on the Wii would have been a great idea, but unfortunately, all you can expect from All Star Karate is a bunch of waggling of your hands and shaking of your head.

The textures are so low-res they will give you a headache. The two-player mode is even worse as it compresses the graphics into two halves to facilitate a vertical split screen making everything distorted and elongated, it's like sitting at the front of a Drive-Inn movie screen.

It's not the most challenging of games but there are some side-scrolling moments that liven up the pace.

Best played at an arcade where you probably wouldn't spend more than a dollar on it. I can't recommend this title even at the bargain-bin price you're bound to find it.

The collision detection system is much too sensitive for a game of this nature where you often have to squeeze between openings that leave you only a few pixels to squeeze by.

Strategy-RPG fans will ignore the game's shortcomings and find much to praise, but this isn't a game that's going to rope in those who aren't already fans of the particular genre.

It looks terrible with its blocky graphics and herky jerky animation. The poker gameplay is about as average as you can get. There are better, more realistic poker games available on the net for free.

There are just too many distractions and obstacles that get in the way of the enjoyment, and turn what should be a fun experience into one of frustration and resentment.

It might be better than watching the film (and it doesn't help that you can probably finish the game in the same time it takes to watch its theatrical counterpart), but Yogi Bear still won't hold your attention for more than a few minutes, if you even bother to play it.

Imagine an old-school RPG with loads of action and dungeon crawling without any asinine anime kids with their sissy tales of woe. With Dungeon Lords it's treasures, monsters and slicing and dicing all the way - just like it was in the good old days.

The only thing of any value here is the story, and even then you're mostly just reading it in the menu screen. This game has nothing to offer anyone in terms of gameplay.

Sharing the misery with another player via the split screen can be a delightfully sadistic pleasure. Why should you be the only one to have a crappy time?

Tank! Tank! Tank! probably shouldn't have elbowed its way onto the Wii U. Like most arcade games, the title is fun in short bursts, but any longer than five minutes, and you're looking for another game to play.

Graphically, Spaceforce Captains is dated. Sure, it's a budget title, but the continued re-use of explosions animation and the space-as-a-backdrop painting do little freshen things up.

Technical issues make the single player mode frustrating. Multi-player mode is generic.

The wacky gameplay, broken tackles, and cheating computer may get the best of you. On the other hand, those of you that are arcade buffs or are particularly good at sports games should love it.

While it is fairly short, simple, and not particularly impressive in any way, Interpol still somehow manages to be an enjoyable experience.

When all is said and done, you have to look at Ben 10: Alien Force for what it is – an experience outside of the show. In that area it excels in so many ways. However, there are too many complaints to say that you will have the same awesome experience that Ben and company have when fighting aliens.

The novelty factor wears off quickly, even with a two-player mode.

Stock animation generates the same A.I. moves over and over again. This redundant theme is further exacerbated by the gameplay which, despite changing environments, doesn't differ from mission to mission. It's a matter of taking out the bad guys and moving on. The entire game can be played in a day.

Not only is Stronghold Crusader Extreme dated in terms of graphics and sound, but the interface is also slow and cumbersome.

It's a hack-and-slash, so there isn't any compelling depth lurking under the surface. The extra modes – Challenge and Trials of Tyris – are just extended hack and slash sessions. Where's the two-player support?

D1 as a budget title is practically a joke, but as a premium title, this game is too ridiculous for words.

An average platformer that is really difficult to recommend to anyone other than fans of Tak. It's not bad but it's not very memorable.

With its revamped controls and tighter focus on growing your custom wrestlers in MyCareer, WWE 2K20 has a lot of good ideas propping it up. Unfortunately, the game is propped up on top of an uncharacteristically weak foundation. WWE 2K20 is an ugly video game, with gross-looking noodle hair, weird character faces, and PS2-looking NPCs. Add to that a lengthy MyCareer story fueled by corny and sloppy writing, and you get a game only the dedicated parts of the fanbase will love. At its core, there is still a great deal of fun in playing WWE2K20, but the technical issues, poor visuals, and bad writing make this year an easy one to skip, especially if you’re still playing through WWE 2K19.

Neither good nor terrible. If you're a big fan of hack-and-slashers you can probably bump this up a couple of notches, but other than the occasional element that may briefly stand out, N3II is pretty average.

While it may sound like there's plenty of replay value here with the ability to play through it as two entirely different characters it's really just the same strategy game with the concept totally reversed.

The game is certainly fun, mind, and having the Bond license in there will make it all the more pleasurable for those who are longtime fans of the character, but I can't help feeling that, in the end, the game is a mass of wasted potential.

Playing online with human opponents adds a bit of longevity to the experience but ultimately NPPL just gets monotonous far too quickly.

The bland environments, boring stages, repetitive enemies, and easily exhausted powers make the Fantastic Four feel more like a fantastic chore or just a fantastic bore.

History Channel Civil War: Secret Missions treats what should be a rich historical palate as a first-person shooter backdrop and nothing more. Both parties – history buffs and shooter fans – will be disappointed. This is essentially Battle for the Pacific re-skinned and repackaged.

If you missed out on the slow motion craze a couple of years ago, then this might be the game for you to pick. On second thought, just try to find "Max Payne." The poor execution to the game is where the real harm is in Made Man.

It's depressing to think that Techland took a popular franchise, came up with some brilliant ideas for a new entry, and then botched the execution-but that's exactly what happened.

If you're a huge Mr. Driller fan, I urge you not to purchase this title. Namco doesn't deserve to be rewarded for their less-than-lackluster effort. I truly feel that this game is a complete rip-off!
