This is not a bad game...it is merely uninspired.
-
Technically solid, but Kakuto Chojin lacks the spark of a great fighter. It has no soul.
-
It seems like the game is not just merely unpolished or unfinished, but almost completely absent.
-
The few bright spots are that combos are easy to perform and each character does indeed have a distinctive fighting style. Yet these are quickly dimmed by players whipping through the Story mode within eight minutes using a single button (Y) for nearly all of the characters.
-
Not what it appears to be. Its like pulling a blond stunner in a club only to get home and discover your date is better endowed than you, and with five-oclock shadow to boot.
-
Opponents cannot be forced off balance, pressured, or intercepted. Kaktuo Chojin rarely forces players to think, react, or adapt to their opponents. Worse still is the absence of a deep grappling system.
-
What was once a somewhat promising game, has easily become one of the worst of the year...Right up there with "Rise of the Robots" and "Shaq Fu." Stay away.
