It's a completely different vibe for a superhero game and I actually kinda like it. It's definitely more of a cerebral experience than "Spider-Man 2."

Unlike last years popular and more importantly, playable, "Sonic Heroes," Shadow The Hedgehog is a misstep in almost every direction.

Mind Over Mutant gets more wrong than it gets right, leaving anyone who picks up the game with nothing more than the aching feeling of buyer’s remorse.

You could easily rent this game over the weekend and be done with it.

Darkest of Days also features very little content - there is only a single-player story mode to wade through that has very limited replay value.

This game is a simple kind of fun, and if you play online with your friends you'll have a great time. Otherwise there's not much here for you unless you like to hunt for collectibles.

To be blunt, the guy who supplies the voice of Superman and Clark Kent was simply awful. In fact, when he said his first line, I actually laughed so hard I could not stop.

Nothing more than a stagnant, relentlessly boring game. You can exploit everything the game has to offer in less than a couple of hours.

If Hummer Badlands were an actual arcade game, it would make on average, about a quarter an hour. It's just too easy.

The story and characters are a total wash, and the gameplay doesn't change up much. It's also a fairly short adventure for a console RPG. The battle system, however, is innovative and fun, sans a few extraneous additions. In the end, though, the package and the asking price don't match up well.

The animation is jerky and robotic. The dialog is juvenile but the voiceacting is some of the worst I've heard. The director must have been sick that day and let the non-English-speaking cleaning lady handle voiceover recordings.

The problem comes when you stare too long: there are constant screen tearing and randomly dropped frames.

Although there are plenty of modes, the poor controls hamper any play value this title might have had.

Not a good game. It's sad that the last game to ever bear the Harry Potter name (well, until the inevitable MMO) is such a disappointment.

While the RPG and action elements aren't exactly balanced equally, this game may be most appealing to RPG fans who like a bit of excitement in their role-playing experience.

WO2 just does not offer enough new features to warrant anyone other than the most serious fans of the series to make a purchase. It is apparent that Koei is less concerned with releasing innovative and groundbreaking product and is more concerned with releasing a Warriors title they know will sell to its loyal fan base.

This is just another movie tie in title, and nothing much more. It tries to tie in the original cartoons, the movies, and the video games, but it fails. It just feels like a corny fanfiction crossover plot painted over a mediocre third person shooter.

Instead of a game that takes its inspiration from the show that it's based on, it appear to have been more inspired by "GTA" than anything else. And if you can imagine how bad a budget title of "GTA" would be, you can imagine how bad American Chopper is.

Even longtime fans of the series are bound to be disappointed with the premise and the gameplay.

If you're a fan of Godzilla, you'll find a lot to enjoy with this game once you get beyond the flawed and unresponsive controls.

The battle system is old and redundant, the visuals are lackluster, the music is non-existent, and there isn't even a multiplayer option.

You can blast through the game on the lower difficulty in less than day. You will notice the title says: Beowulf: The Game. That's to distinguish it from the ancient manuscript. I tend to think of it as a disclaimer, or quite possibly a warning.

Unlocking different vehicles and tracks for the multiplayer provides some incentive to push onward, but there's not much past that.

The bottom line on this game is that it makes a great appetizer but you'll want "Tony 4" or "Aggressive Inline" for the main course.

This is a lousy simulation of the televised version. It looks terrible with its blocky graphics and herky jerky animation. The poker gameplay is about as average as you can get. There are better, more realistic poker games available on the net for free. Go ahead and look for one now.

I would recommend checking out a walkthrough just to get to the first mission because if I didn't have to review this game the disk would have ended up smashed on the other side of my office in the first fifteen minutes.

Boredom and frustration sets in pretty early, though multiplayer is worth exploring.

Faced with the removal of all the great production this GBA version highlights the game's weakest aspect - the gameplay. It's like seeing Madonna without her makeup.

The majority of missions have you destroying weapons and taking down terrorists. The bonus levels are just rehashes of things from single-player. There's little to hold your attention for very long.

As a mainstream game, Garfield's Fun Fest is absolutely horrendous, and even as a kid's game it fares little better. A complete lack of effort on the part of the developers has led to a title that has boring, repetitive gameplay, poor sound and visuals, lack of humor or even a mildly entertaining storyline, and a total dearth of value.

The Falsebound Kingdom is almost a prophetic title as this inferior product is forced upon the multitude of loyal supporters that are blind to the deception and exploitation employed by the Yu-Gi-Oh Empire.

All in all, Hellboy: Science of Evil is a pretty intolerable game.

Playing online with human opponents adds a bit of longevity to the experience but ultimately NPPL just gets monotonous far too quickly.

The movie is good; the game is not, so save yourself the heartache, the pain, and a few hours. I, on the other hand, was not so lucky, but that's life.

Only two kinds of gamers would appreciate this title: beginners and those looking for an easy hack-and-slash party game.

There really isn't much fun to be had here. Not even in a masochistic way.

Tony Hawk: Ride is not the broken junk heap some critics would have you believe. However, it is far from the revolutionary title Tony Hawk and Activision were counting on. In fact, it is actually a less enjoyable outing than lackluster games in the series such as Project 8 and American Wasteland. Still, if you're a skater, have the patience of a saint, or are a glutton for punishment (and frustration), there is a novel, skate-sim experience that can be uncovered.

What you're really fighting in this game is the rules - and boredom. It's boredom that drives me to consume fried delectables, and I can tell you I must have gained eight pounds playing Empire of Magic.

In its defense, the enemy AI is more intelligent than ones in your average shooter. If they were any more intelligent they would pick up and find a better game to play in. I advise you to do likewise.

Overall, Tornado is a good game marred by some intentional annoyances. It's a wonder why the developer chose to include them in the first place. Rent this one first.

I had a lot of fun playing Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball, but I was extremely disappointed with the lack of content in this game. Playing the same four levels over and over is unacceptable in a modern game and is my chief complaint of this title.

At $10 it won't break the bank, and the basic premise is solid, but the bottom line is that the core feature doesn't work.

Un-challenging, un-fun, easy to beat and way too short. It’s such a boring game that the only saving grace is that it’s mercifully short.

This game is more of an action adventure without the combat. It's also a little shy on action and adventure.

Though the game features a few core mechanics that makes it a good bit of fun, it is painfully apparent the developers were faced with a marketing timetable that didn’t allow them to produce the game they had envisioned.

Gameplay becomes redundant quickly. It's very unbalanced.

Unless you're the biggest Digimon fan on the planet, don't even bother to rent this mess.

Games are hard to control, repetitive, and not very fun. Single-player mode is tedious. Play value is how much the game has to offer, not just replayability.

It's short and not much fun.

Even if you got this game as a gift, you should return it immediately. There are far too many moments that make it unplayable. Go play Gears of War instead.

I can't even recommend this game for fans of the movie series since it doesn't even include the principal characters.

Single-player is short, and beyond a score challenge mode, there's nothing to really do with this game.

What Soldner really needs is a unit of highly trained, high tech, programmers to overhaul this game and get all of the bugs out of it before it sends you off to war. Until that time there are better team-based, military shooters out there to occupy your time with.

A barely functional fighting game that flubs even the basics of control, introducing no depth or complexity to its haggard and unresponsive control scheme.

It’s just unremarkable, which is disappointing after all the remarks we all made about it. It’s just a game. It’s mediocre. It’s run of the mill. It’s another indie game that uses another established formula to give us a few hours of repetitive gameplay that may or may not be to your liking. It doesn’t do anything grand and innovative, but it also doesn’t do anything wrong or heinous outside of its own overhyped controversy.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is a text-book example of a rushed movie tie-in that does nothing for either the movie or the gaming industry. Leave this Mummy in its wrapper.

If there's any good reason to purchase, rent or even borrow this game, I haven't found it.

Ultimately Zathura is a full priced game with the least amount of play value I've seen in recent memory. An average gamer would get through this adventure in a few short hours which means for goodness sakes, rent this one if you're itching to play the movie.

Although the information presented is interesting, the effort to extract it is just not worth the reward.

Omerta is a great idea, but it drags too often and enthralls too little.

Hardcore Dynasty Warriors fans will probably get this title for the storyline alone. More casual fans of the series stay away!

Once I had committed a few hours to the game and was deep inside Venice leveling up and completing quests, I was indeed drawn into the game. But the sordid path it took to get me there and the unnecessary complications of the map were beyond frustrating and would turn away most gamers.

The chaotic levels are challenging, but they become far too repetitive far too quickly.

Supreme Cuisine could have been a great opportunity to bring the excitement and entertainingly tense cooking battles in kitchen stadium to life on the Wii. Instead, the game provides an uninspiring, and frankly boring, culinary mini-game experience that apes Cooking Mama without including some of the more fun aspects of the cooking video game genre.

I would have had more fun gluing spray-painted macaroni to my ass than playing Mission Impossible: Operation Surma on the GBA.

The combat is at least fun initially and the storyline will keep you playing until the end. Fans of the series should definitely play through this title.

Maybe Imageepoch just wanted to experiment. I can’t fault them for that, and they certainly had guts in putting this game together. NIS America, too, for bringing it overseas. I’m only sorry that the concept and effort didn’t come together into a cohesive whole.

There are 29 songs. This is the worst collection of tunes bar none. They are meant to appeal to the most affected families you can imagine. By that I mean shallow, bland morons.

To paraphrase an old psychology axiom, if the game sounds bad, looks bad and plays bad, it probably is bad.

Many of the A.I., both friendly and enemy, look the same. There are only a few different character models. They animate well, but at times they will get stuck in the scenery or just freeze.

Other than the three or four hours of play you'll get out of Coraline, there isn't much left to be done.
