Mouse: P.I. for Hire isn't a Game of the Year contender, but it's definitely a game that will be on many must-play lists in 2026. It's a highly entertaining title that, despite its lack of originality, will surely resonate with many players. Like Jack Pepper, something's missing, and I hope a potential sequel will solve this case.- Atomix

AAA video game development is in the middle of a serious crisis and I think Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is proof of this. Having been in development for almost seven years tells us that for every year, an hour of gameplay was built. It's crazy. Ninja Theory is delivering a very good product that does justice to the name it bears, but in more than one section, it does leave things to be desired, especially in what has to do with its scope and own ambitions. The use of Unreal 5 is spectacular, but I wonder if going for this technology that is just beginning, did not end up affecting the game, since it is also worth remembering that after being bought by Xbox in 2018, the British studio grew to more than 100 employees; That is to say, we are no longer talking about a small production, far from it.- Atomix

Ultimate Marvel vs.Capcom 3 is just a mere port of the game that we already played on PS3 and Xbox 360. Is that a bad thing? Not necessarily. Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake surpasses Tecmo’s classic original in many aspects, but precisely because of that desire to be better than the game it is based on, it runs into issues we would have loved not to see—particularly the changes at the combat system level and the somewhat unstable performance it shows on consoles. Do we recommend it? Yes, absolutely. Despite the flaws mentioned in this review, it is undoubtedly a game we enjoyed and one we believe you should give a chance. It is currently the most accessible way to experience this horror classic, especially considering the very high price of an original PS2 copy.- Atomix

We can say that the first exclusive of the year in consoles does not disappoint anyone and it is a pleasant adventure that any public can enjoy without any problem. Full of unforgettable designs and a lot of tenderness the levels are a visual enjoyment from start to finish. As a soft reboot, this new entry of Sakura Wars works perfectly as it offers some fresh ideas and changes to its gameplay mechanics while retaining the essence of the series, as well as most of the key aspects that turned it in one of the most beloved franchises in Japan. Just as with Shovel Knight, the other game published by Yacht Club Games, Cyber Shadow is a true homage to classic NES games, in particular to the Ninja Gaiden trilogy. It has all the elements that we remember fondly from those years, such as a retro sound and looks, but it complements them with modern gameplay mechanics. If we take off some of its visual effects and its resolution, I do see myself playing it in a classic 8-bit console. You only need the directional pad and two buttons to play it.- Atomix

It goes without saying how much we recommend Super Mario Party Jamboree, as you could check out in our original coverage. This is a wonderful installment of this beloved series, one that refreshes it with truly brilliant and innovative ideas, yet is also very aware of what has always made this franchise so special. Is Jamboree TV worth paying for? If you have someone to play with, the answer would be a resounding yes. Returning to this title that has given us so many laughs will be a true delight. If, on the other hand, you're not sure who you could take advantage of all the new features with, it's best to think twice, because its price, as we already told you, is not low. Who is this new version of Death Stranding for? The answer is extremely simple: for those who enjoyed and appreciated the work of the father of Metal Gear. Mario Tennis Fever feels like the game of its predecessors, as it's always fun to play with friends, especially if you don't follow the established rules of the sport. Getting together with three other people and playing the craziest matches is definitely always a good idea. It features several interesting game modes, such as special matches, tower climbing, and classic singles and doubles cups, providing plenty of replayability. The only problem, I think, is the story mode, as it's frustrating that it has the potential to be much longer and then ends just as it reaches its climax. If you're a fan of the plumber-with-rackets franchise, I have to tell you that you're going to have a great time, similar to what happened with Aces a few years ago on the original Switch. The combat system doesn't present anything completely new, but everything it does offer is well done. The transformations, in particular, give a unique touch to each encounter, providing a variety and customization that are the foundation of the experience. Meanwhile, the world design, while somewhat clumsy, places great weight on exploration and rewards all those who decide to visit every possible corner, whether with items or additional boss fights. Despite obvious opportunities for improvement and a clear lack of experience on the part of the development team, Darwin’s Paradox! feels like a video game made with care and passion that we’re sure will give you a very enjoyable time. We would have loved to see greater consistency across all the ideas presented in this new release from Konami, but certain decisions—such as a not-so-outstanding audiovisual presentation—hold it back from being something far more remarkable. While Assassin's Creed: Shadows won't be the salvation Ubisoft is hoping for, it's still a fun experience and one of the greatest games in the series in recent years, and that's what should matter at the end of the day. With nearly 60 hours of gameplay under my belt, I'm going to keep playing because this is an entertaining title that doesn't deserve to be the flop many expect, but it's not going to revolutionize the genre either.- Atomix

Alex Kidd in Miracle World brings back a classic Master System game with new visuals, game modes, and themes. It's worth a try, especially if you like hardcore platforming titles.- Atomix

Persona 4: Dancing All Night is a real party from the beginning to the end. The music is amazing and the remixes of iconic pieces in the series are worth enough to acquire the title just to get them. The design of the interface, characters and stages are a visual delight. If only it had an engaging campaign mode with more depth in the characters it would be a perfect game.- Atomix

In summary, if you've never tried the series and always wanted to do it, you should definitely take the step forward and purchase one of the different versions of current consoles or PC. Klonoa is not a franchise that stands out for being a revolution, but the joy comes from taking the control and live an adventure full of fantasy.- Atomix

While it maintains the flaws of the whole game such as graphics and physics, it provides a decent climax to the story and delivers the basis for a possible Resident Evil 7.- Atomix

The King of Fighters XIII: Global Match is a good port of a game, with which you can train to emulate the exploits of BALA, Violent Kain, Huevo, Romance, Khanibalito, Tokido, XiaoHai or MadKOF. It is a title that still has its competitive niche and, therefore, in this installment that which those players demanded at a complicated time. Although, unfortunately, no more than that. It's up to you to decide if it needs it.- Atomix

A great package that includes the HD versions of the first three games of the Ace Attorney series. If you haven't played any of them or you missed one, its a great opportunity to give a try. On the other hand and if you are a veteran fan, you will enjoy it a lot too, even though it doesn't offer anything new at all.- Atomix

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble is a decent installment of the franchise, the return that perhaps classic fans of the franchise were looking for, given that it doesn't take much risk in terms of mechanics. Certainly, this part is not negative, after all it is fun to play, especially if done in company.- Atomix

Storytelling through a pinball table is not easy, fortunately there are developers like Zen Studios that give us stories and messages in this format. The Iron & Steel Pack is full of classic pinball fun with the freedom of the developer that this time is not limited by a license.- Atomix

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition its a great opportunity to play and enjoy, one more time (o even for the firts time), one of the mos beloved JRPG games in history. Albeit its not perfect and many of its flaws have gotten more obvious with the pass of the years, its a huge game with the enough charm and content to maintain any gamer busy and enjoying for a long time.- Atomix

Disintegration is probably THE hidden gem of 2020. Yes, some aspects are quite generic, like the story and the sound presentation, but the beautiful visual aspect and the spectacular gameplay make this experience one of the most interesting this year.- Atomix
