    This will be a very short review. My full reviews always go on Steam. This will be the most iconic game for us. Overall I love all Bethesda games, I have thousands of hours in their games, and my another lovely studio Larian make BG3 this give even more expectation for future games. For start regard to Inon Zur for music, this compositor is legend in gaming (Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age,This will be a very short review. My full reviews always go on Steam. Overall I love all Bethesda games, I have thousands of hours in their games, and my another lovely studio Larian make BG3 this give even more expectation for future games. For start regard to Inon Zur for music, this compositor is legend in gaming (Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age, Fallout, Neverwinter Nights) and many more, in menu you fell Fallout series vibes. Random generated planets after landing, super side missions and huge world, ship customization and nice crew give us truly amazing space game. Graphic is very good, views are insane and created places are stunning, this is huge Fallout in space, fun and very addictive game in Bethesda tropical style. Creation Engine have some problems, but mostly with optimization, with is not bad if you compare other huge games from this year, and flop games on Unreal bug engine. Still on two my PCs game works fine, without one crash, with stable playable FPS on Ultra settings. This is a true AAA game, one of the best in this year.… Expand

    A solid Bethesda game, and if this is what you went in expecting (unlike some children who thought this game would be the second coming of video game
    Jesus) then you will not be disappointed.
    Excellent story, wonderful side quests and the guns feel great. Probably my favourite Bethesda game. Remember children, don’t be mad because the features YOU thought were coming aren’t there. Play    A solid Bethesda game, and if this is what you went in expecting (unlike some children who thought this game would be the second coming of video game

    The story is flat and wooden. Out of the gates I fail to find any kind of immersion, the voice acting is flat and while the story arc is a fantastic concept it just doesn’t deliver. It tries to do a lot; none of which very well.

    With the exception of my interactions with the Crimson fleet missions were little more than fetch this for loosely related purposes and get that because ‘reasons’. Nothing really ties together very well. Loot is horrendous, nothing seems to be that unique or related to a mission set, items are quite similar; none descript, grey, common.

    Each planet or area feels empty and certain devoid of purpose. You land basically on the same planet each time where the surface, minerals and the animals are slightly different with a view habs containing random gear. It also misses some of the slightly more goofy sides of previous titles; you don’t build a giant robot, or meet a robotic space captain gone rogue or becomes besties with the undead.

    This is a £30 title at best, if you can play it free on game pass do it; except for Baldur’s Gate 3 (which is exceptional) there’s little else going on, but I’d think twice about paying £50-60 for it. Even the free version will leave you disappointed. I’ll leave on a positive note and that is the game does a great job with the way they introduce NG+, sadly I doubt I’ll be taking advantage of it.    … Expand

    Expectations were high for Starfield's release and it fall short on many counts. I'm not here to say the game is absolute dog water, but it isn't the greatest game to grace humanity like some Bethesda stans are acting. "1000 planets to explore! 999 of them are nothing but a rock, but we'll still use it as our selling point!" There shouldn't be a    It is a Bethesda game after all.

    The more I play, the more I love the game, great RPG with very interesting planets, cities and side quest, the story is awesome. The best from Bethesda.

    The game is great, easy to get lost in the story and side quests for hours. I've only experienced a couple minor bugs on PC but haven't come across a single thing to complain about while playing on my series x.

    I really liked Starfield, The main story is engaging and well-written, The side quests are also varied and rewarding. The game looks stunning on the Xbox Series X, with detailed graphics and great performance and The sound design is also impressive. The game does not support Arabic language, which is disappointing for Arabic speakers like me.

    Overall, Starfield is a great game.

Fast forward to 2023, the gaming industry has changed. Almost every Triple A studio has surpassedElder Scrolls and Fallout always had incredible open worlds despite the sub par gameplay, story, and polish. Fans looked past these faults because no one else could make an open world with that sense of exploration. Back in the early 2000s, Bethesda used to be THE open world game developer. Fast forward to 2023, the gaming industry has changed. Almost every Triple A studio has surpassed BGS when it comes to open world games in combat design, story, gameplay, world building, and exploration. FromSoft, Guerrilla, MonolithSoft, Nintendo, and CDPR to name a few. Sadly despite huge promises, Starfield is an outdated game with an unimaginative story, subpar combat, and several clunky gameplay systems that are poorly explained.     C'est un bon jeu. Prenant, addictif. Il y a énormément de choses à faire. Plus qu'on imagine !
    Il a quelques défauts, j'aurai pu mettre une note inférieure, mais il ne mérite pas une note en dessous de 5. Donc, je compense un peu les notes des "déçus"

    Ich weiß nicht was einige Spieler haben, klar es ist ein exklusiv Titel bei Microsoft aber die Entwickler sagten bekanntlich auch das sie das Spiel nur erstmal auf Microsoft laufen lassen wollen da sie das Spiel noch weiter verbessern wollen, also ist es nicht ausgeschlossen das es noch zur playstation kommt. (Abgesehen davon wenn man sich da beschweren will sollte man erstmal auf dieIch weiß nicht was einige Spieler haben, klar es ist ein exklusiv Titel bei Microsoft aber die Entwickler sagten bekanntlich auch das sie das Spiel nur erstmal auf Microsoft laufen lassen wollen da sie das Spiel noch weiter verbessern wollen, also ist es nicht ausgeschlossen das es noch zur playstation kommt.     Jetzt aber zum Spiel, klar die Story ist hier und da noch überarbeitungsfähig, allerdings gab es auch genug Spiele die nicht einmal dieses Level beim Release erreichen.

    Die Flugsteuerung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, ich fühle mich ein wenig sehr an die Hand genommen vom Entwickler da ich nicht selbst landen oder starten kann, ich wünschte mir an der Stelle sie hätten sich mit den Entwicklern von elite dangerous zusammen gesetzt.

    An sich macht das Spiel trotz allem echt Spaß und das schiffs Design der normal kaufbaren Schiffe ist mega gelungen allerdings ist durch die eingeschränkte flugerfahrung das alleinige Design relativ egal.

    Story an sich ist cool gemacht, wenn die Kommunikation mehr Emotionen zeigen würden würde alles auch besser rüber kommen und es würde einen mehr mitreißen.

    Aber zu guter letzt würde ich sagen trotz allem ein Spiel was es wert ist gespielt zu werden und wenn noch weitere Elemente hinzugefügt werden könnte ich wie bei skyrim mit den richtigen mods tausende von Stunden spielen    … Expand

    I couldn't play more than 5 hours. It's by far the most broken Bethesda game at launch! The story is unambitious and full of plot holes. The side quests are very repetitive and boring.

    The performance on Xbox Series X and PC is awful which is completely unacceptable given its extremely outdated visuals and lack of RT effects. The load times are extremely long, combat is repetitive,    I couldn't play more than 5 hours. It's by far the most broken Bethesda game at launch! The story is unambitious and full of plot holes. The side quests are very repetitive and boring.

    In fact and without prejudice: the plot is lame, third-party quests are mega-boring, the artificial intelligence of the game of the 2005 model, and of course loading after the loading screen. I'm afraid that there are things that Starfield will never fix. I'm so sorry to all the fans of this genre, I am silent about the lack of Russian language, thnx!

As for starfield It doesn't reinvent the wheel or anything but the gameplay and story are decent. It's pretty much fallout meets no man's sky.     Luego de más de 30 horas de juego, puedo afirmar lo que sospechaba desde hace mucho: fallout 4 en el espacio. Planetas vacios, enemigos con movimientos copy paste de anteriores Fallouts, historia poco interesante, viaje en la nave nulo (puras pantallas de carga) decepción

    I came into this game loving all previous bethesda games and not really as excited for this new IP. I knew people, myself included, would compare it to space sims out already. But this game really fills in the major gaps in games like no mans sky. Way more roleplaying content and short stories that I love and expect in a Bethesda game.     Huge game... Has more cotent on 1 or 2 side quests than most of the entire "conematographic" games out there... Its a must play for ant rpg fans... Enjoy it on Xbox, Pc or anywhere Else thanks tô Microsoft!!

    After playing 23 hours on Starfield. I'm in love with the game. You really start to enjoy the game when your about 7 hours into the game. There so much to do. Once I finish the game I might play as a bad person on another save file making all the evil choices.

    It’s a different game than I was expecting but over 50 hours in I’m still thoroughly enjoying the game and still have tons of content I have not done or completed. If you enjoyed fallout 4 you will probably love this game.

    This is a phenomenal experience for anyone who is a fan of their previous games. It's kind of like a mix between the Outerworlds and Oblivion with elements from No Mans sky wity mountains of content.

There are some legitimate gripes such as not being able to seamlessly fly to a planet, but it’s so much fun that it’s really not that big of a deal.     The beginning of the game is extremally slow, the story starts off with you as a miner, touching some magic relic and having a vision and now some historic organization, called the constellation, apparently thinks you're good enough to join just because you delivered the relic. it makes no sense.

    Otherwise the game is expansive, samey, the combat is below expectations in 2023, and the bugs ruin immersion with so many characters staring at you, walking into walls, floating, and getting in your way, extremely poor and inconsistent facial animations and running animations, horrible weight system where you can barely carry anything.

    People think this is fun/funny but they're usually distracting when a game tries to be serious.

    Otherwise, performance is horrible, I have a 3080 and the FPS in the cities and random, empty, planets drops from 120 fps to under 30. It has such a massive gap in FPS for no reason at all, even in scenarios where nothing is happening on screen. In comparison "The Outer Worlds" made a much smarter choice by focusing on a specific star system.

    - The "procedural" content is confusing , leaves you constantly wonder if something matters or it's just generated on the fly.

    - The graphics is ok when it comes to architecture but looks terribly outdated when it comes to natural items and vegetation, F76 in comparison looked way better.

    - NPCs look repetitive and very dated compared to other recent games - and interactions feel very scripted.

    - Gore and finishers are completely missing, a downgrade from other Bethesda games.

    - Weapon modding was also downgraded from Fallout 4 and 76.

    - No way to scrap objects to harvest parts and materials, another inexplicable down
    grade.

    - The "space" part feels more like a mini game rather than something that brings it all together as it should have been. You find yourself floating around and unable to really go anywhere. It was also said that the space travelling would have had a sense of danger but in the end product it's as safe as taking an elevator.

    - I can't speak much of the main story as I left it aside for now and chose to explore around instead, but frankly this is probably because I found it so forced and cliche that I didn't feel a sense of urgency to push forward with it.

    Overall this game does give you a little "fix" of a Bethesda RPG but it's not the generational game that was promised, by far.    … Expand

    Excellent game. Lots of options to explore and choose your own path. Unlike a souls game where you die every few minutes this lets you explore without worry. I enjoy it but fear it's so expansive and there are so many options that I will never really be able to play it in its entirety.

    this game is a loadscreen simulator. no planet exploring(you cant land on planet because its a jpg), no space exploring. just menus and menus and menus. ai is dead and doesn't react to anything. no face animation. engine is outdated. better play skyrim.

Who are all yelling questions at you while their teacher is trying to explain they need ship parts. Or flying past a lonely hauler singing a ballad over the radio. Resources are finite, and I love that Bethesda prioritised immersive content and exploration and engagement with the world, over making the game look marginally better - or getting rid of load screens in a game that literally remembers where you left every single lootable item across a huge universe. I personally appreciate that data so vast needs to be compartmentalised. Bethesda clearly put a lot of heart into this game. They worked incredibly hard. NPC's and facial animations are a real disappointment after playing games like Witcher 3, Death Stranding and Baldur's Gate 3 and one of these is from eight years ago. Just nostalgia for Bethesda games shouldn't excuse their sloppiness. They have the massive backer that is Microsoft now so they really have no excuse (not that they had one before in my opinion) as a AAA developer to deliver such a sub-par product for 2023 while other much smaller studios with a fraction of their resources deliver something amazing both in looks and feel!… Expand

    First of all,the piloting is a major cornerstone of the game and the basic piloting mechanic is only the surface.You can unlock the targetting system and target the specific systems on the enemy vessel and by shooting the engine up,you can board and capture,so far I haven't experienced 2 similar boarding.I even managed to ruin the artificial gravity on 1 vessel and the boarding ended up in a 0 gravity gunfight.
    You can even build your own ship from modules and build outposts.
    The scope of this game is insane.I think running through the main missions is a mistake,because the sidequest give the game an interesting flavour.For example I heard a distress call and I landed on a planet and ended up helping a group to kill the invading thugs in space.Side quest after sidequest and you notice this game is more similar to the structure of Witcher 3.The side quest stories look handcrafted and there are random events on planets,ending up in interesting outcomes.
    I can see myself playing this game until next year.
    One other thing I forgot to mention.The graphics can be breathtaking.Standing on the moon and seeing all the stars above is a unique experience.    … Expand

I went into this really enjoying the game, but then you kind of eventually find out the whole game is fast travel. Fast travel from the planet to space, fast travel to the location on the planet, and fast travel to the lodge. Repeat. I didn't realise how used to 60+ I had gotten.     It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

    While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
