    After all this waiting and hype, it should be better than this. Graphics, voice acting, facial expressions... it all looks so 2015. There are many other troubling aspects of the game, like traveling. Gunfights are no better than Fallout 4. Story is not as good (I dare say not even as humorous as Outer Worlds). It provides nothing that's groundbreaking. Overall it's decent game that didn'tAfter all this waiting and hype, it should be better than this.     Um dos piores jogos que já joguei no Xbox, um jogo vazio, muito repetitivo, gráficos abaixo do que foi mostrado, mecânica totalmente bugada, npc cheio de erros gráficos e no resumo o pior lançamento da Microsoft. Ficar hypando jogo da nisso, agora eu tenho que ficar ouvindo os sonysta zoando!

    The load screens and fast traveling everywhere gives very little impression that I’m traveling through space exploring the galaxy while the 30 FPS look like a headache inducing studded fest on my 80 inch TV. Combine that with the current day woke nonsense that’s shoehorned everywhere throughout the game, I can easily say that this is a massive dud for me.     This game has all the essence of an RPG in the pure Bethesda style, so much so that it overflows with style, it is a great game with great study behind it.

    Game is bland as can be. Each "world" is two or three points of interests and a few things to shoot. Traveling consists of multiple screens hitting the X button to move to it then hitting the X button again to land. Going to a world across the universe and you get out to find its the same blank pallet of the world you just left. This game is terrible

    Bethesda has never been able to draw me in with there games but starfield is on another level within landing on its main planet I went out and found a side quest which took me around 13 hours to complete it drew me in so much I had to double check it wasn't the main story as it felt like it was making a diffrence to the world.     It’s clear that many of the negative reviews left here are from bot accounts and/or people who have not yet played the game. I highly encourage you to take the reviews you see here with a grain of salt. With that being said, Starfield has far exceeded my expectations. It’s more of a Space RPG than a Space-Sim, which is perfect for me, as I have always loved Bethesda’s RPGs, like FalloutIt’s clear that many of the negative reviews left here are from bot accounts and/or people who have not yet played the game. I highly encourage you to take the reviews you see here with a grain of salt. With that being said, Starfield has far exceeded my expectations. It’s more of a Space RPG than a Space-Sim, which is perfect for me, as I have always loved Bethesda’s RPGs, like Fallout and Skyrim. Exploration feels rewarding and fun, and the leveling-up/progression system is one of my all time favorites. Overall, I have enjoyed every second of the 30 + hours I have played so far, and I plan to play thousands more.… Expand

    fantastic spaceship building, big re-playability, cool story, good side-quests, top musical score and solid sound design. inconsistent graphics ( from WOW ! to xbox 360 lvl), too many loadings and menu navigation.
    Lot of bugs, terrible npcs animations, poor AI, limited procedural generation.     Starfield is probably the best game bethesda has ever crafted it has the feeling of cyberpunk and skyrim in a good way and has improved upon the previous games by bethesda although it has it's flaws i think it's safe to say starfield is an top 5 game of this year! You ask for a bethesda game you get a bethesda game.

    Los viajes entre planetas o sistemas solares se hacen a golpe de tecla y cinemáticas a través de un menú ya que no puedes pilotar tu nave ni navegar con ella libremente ya sea en la atmosfera o en el espacio a pesar de que se anunciaba lo contrario, solo en las orbitas de los planetas y de manera limitada, penoso. Tampoco puedes salir de tu nave y flotar por el espacio libremente.
    La IA tanto enemiga como aliada deja mucho que desear, es muy torpe. Los civiles no reaccionan a tus disparos ni ofrecen diálogos.
    Las animaciones faciales siguen siendo de la generación pasada, por no hablar de que la sincronización labial es muy mala, aunque el doblaje y la traducción hay que decir que están muy bien.
    La exploración que nos prometían es decepcionante y literalmente humo. De 1000 planetas que anunciaban solo unos 100 tienen "vida" o cosas que hacer, es decir un 10% y además generados proceduralmente. No solo eso, sino que al aterrizar en una zona se generan puntos de interés alrededor, es decir que esas zonas explorables están instanciadas y además no puedes explorar mas allá porque no hay nada y porque el juego no te deja. Con las orbitas de los planetas pasa lo mismo, están instanciadas y da la sensacion de ser algo artificial.
    Además para visitar los puntos de interés deberás ir andando desde tu nave ya que no existen vehículos terrestres ni tampoco puedes acercarte con tu nave, a estas alturas y que Bethesda no haya sido capaz de implementarlos en ninguno de sus juegos es lamentable.
    Hay pantallas de carga y menús literalmente para todo. Los menús son engorrosos y poco intuitivos.
    Cuando aterrizas en algún punto no existe algo tan básico para guiarte como un mapa local.
    Los gráficos tampoco son para tirar cohetes. No innova en nada ni implementa mecánicas nuevas.
    Todos estos puntos negativos rompen la inmersión, te sacan mucho del juego y de la experiencia.
    Los únicos puntos buenos de este juego son la ambientación, la personalización, los combates, las opciones de dialogo y persuasión, la narrativa y la historia, tanto de la trama principal como de las secundarias.    … Expand

Combat is okay, exploration is pretty bad. People are also saying you need play the game for 12 hours for it to get good what a joke. And the fact that the game runs 30 fps on console is laughable.This game was huge let down for me because it was so hyped, and the way they described this game.     No começo senti falta de um fps mais alto e um mapa local mais detalhado. Mas em menos de 30 minutos já havia me esquecido desses pequenos pontos. O jogo lembra muito a jogabilidade de fallout 4, porém com uma exploração muito mais detalhada. É um jogo que todos deveriam jogar ao menos uma vez na vida.

    The gun-play is improved from the fallout series but the classic Bethesda exploration and even quest design is just flat out not here. Many main quests early on are just simple fetch quests to generic dungeons that are reused as generic points of interest. My first point of interest I explored outside of quests was re-skinned on a different planet as a main quest dungeon minutes later. How is that acceptable? The faction quests are mostly fun and interesting but the lack of RPG choices in many scenarios is noticeable. Exploring planets is tedious and they feel largely uninspired. The 1,000 planet "selling point" is a huge detriment to the Bethesda formula many of us love due to the inherent downsides of procedural generation. Rarely in this game will you run across a cool new story or dungeon outside of the main quest hubs.

    The perk system is lazy as the "challenges" are not challenges. They are simply just utilizing the skills you just purchased 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100 times.

    There are pieces here for a really great game but much of the game, especially early, is a slog and that saddens me given how much time seems to be have been put into this game from the Bethesda team.    … Expand

I don't feel attached to my character, the story feels intriguing but its not something that keeps me playing. I feel like they need to a lot of changes for this to be the Skyrim in space that everyone wants it to be,I had high expectations with Starfield. I was expecting Skyrim in Space where I will be stuck on my Xbox for days and cant put it down. Well, I really can't get into it.. I don't feel attached to my character, the story feels intriguing but its not something that keeps me playing. I feel like they need to a lot of changes for this to be the Skyrim in space that everyone wants it to be, its not even Fallout level for me. I see a comment on FB that calls this a "Fast Travel Simulation", that is pretty much the exploring portion of the game. I have put about 20 hrs and I think I will be putting it down for now, I spent about $30 for the premium pack and felt it was a waste.… Expand

    War, War Never Changes. The Sonyites attacked the Xboxians in glorious fashion, as is their right, and they defended themselves in kind, but ultimately, it was all meaningless, because there is never justification for War, or hate, and in the end, War Never Changes, countless bodies pile up, the old turns to new, the new turns to old, and history always repeats itself.

    This game is a SOLID 8, for me. Beautiful scenery, incredible physics, fantastic ship building... I could go on. The possibilities are seemingly endless. Quite literally my ONLY gripe, so far, is that there is no option to adjust the deadzone. I absolutely hate that - so much so that it is the sole reason I'm giving Starfield an 8, rather than a 10.     Excelente juego, la verdad me ha gustado mucho la trama espacial, lastima que no pueda aterrizar la nave de manera manual, pero del resto está muy bueno.

Pero es algo que tampoco rompe la experiencia con el juego. Las quejas con los Menus tampoco las entiendo, a mi parecer son menús sencillos e intuitivos, odio los menús plagados de información ( en muchos casos información inútil ) y con mucha letra pequeña. Yo no me quejo tanto de la i.a de los enemigos pero si de la de tu compañero que en ocasiones se pone delante tuyo en medio de un tiroteo. Todavía no e tenido tiempo de sumergirme en la creación de naves y asentamientos, pero sé que cuando lo aga tendré otras tantas horas más de juego. En definitiva, toda esa gente que le a puesto 5 al juego es porque se pensaban que esto iba a ser un no man's Sky echo por bethesda, pero el no man's Sky es un juego de solo exploración y más exploración, carente de personajes con trasfondo y personalidad y historias con carisma, que es lo que es Starfield.… Expand

The game looks nice... but it's not open world as they said. You can't fly wherever you want, you can't land on the planet yourself...did I mention the loading screen at every step, you land loading, you go to the store loading, you change the city zone loading. The game has potential but all these loading screens make it lose its luster. After 2 hours of play I had enough and started No Man Sky as much as I could ;) I think I'll wait for some mods because I don't want to play anymore its to boring… Expand

    Nearly everywhere you go, it's a little load screen. Don't mind if you are traveling to another planet or just entering a building. And every    Nice game, but not The Game. Starfield is like 10 games in 1: you can play just the story mode, you can focus in spaceship battles, or you can explore, roleplay... You can do a lot of things. The issue is not all that things are at the same level.

    Nearly everywhere you go, it's a little load screen. Don't mind if you are traveling to another planet or just entering a building. And every planet you go has the same 3 points of interest. And, well, you can't go in your spaceship to that points. Although you explore a lot, you won't find something too different, a unique event or unique location, is just does not reward enough exploring. Definitely, it's not the definitive galaxy exploration experience it is supposed to be.

    The story is good, and near the end of the 1st third you discover something it completely changes the game. The ending is great and clever.

    In short, it has lights and shades. It's not a bad game, but it wants to do 100 things and just 10 of them are good enough. The 10 good things are great, and the other 90 are not awful, but unfortunately they make a worse game.

    Its Skyrim in space. It has a slow start and It needs some polishing.
    I don't understand all the bad ratings. Its a good game.
    For the state its in now I give it 8/10 for now, but I give it 10 for all the 0 ratings.
    Give it some time and It can really be a great game with the mod Community.
    It has a little rough takeoff, but it has big potencial to have a perfect landing. (like No Man's Sky)

    Please ignore the sony fanboys with their fake reviews if you have gamepass try the game for at least a few hours and form your own opinion, however I paid full price plus early access and the game is worth it 100% if you like any other Bethesda games, mass effect or space and planetary exploration this game is for you.

Todd "The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth Of All Time" Howard's arrogant boasting of spending a $200 million budget on a 500 people team for 25 years of development is yet another blatant lie considering the game doesn't have the sandbox infinite universe that NMS provides, nor the excellent storytelling, character development and narrative content that TOW managed to deliver, not to mention the humor. Hell, Starfield doesn't even have a proper ship-flying mechanic built into the game, considering it's a damn space FPS/RPG.

    The game is constantly cockblocking your immersive experience with loading screens in places where you would not expect to see one since Mass Effect 2 was released in 2010, a testament that Bugfesda doesn't care to update their gaming engine to modern standards and prefers to dump those resources in creating 100 variations of coffee mugs, books and cafeteria trays, or writing and incessant amount of completely pointless NPC dialog lines and an absurd amount of meaningless errands disguised as quests.

    Speaking of technology and its implementation, the game was released without Ray Tracing and DLSS, which took the community 1 day to create a mod for (go figure), with UI animations and interactions capped at 30 FPS on console and 60 FPS on PCs, which the community again took 1 day to increase to 120 FPS. On the UI part, the menus are convoluted and difficult to navigate with a 2-page list of shortcuts that change from one menu screen to the other. The main game UI, even though it is minimalistic and beautiful to look at, is badly designed with everything on the screen having the same white color and no animations. Clearly whoever worked on this, had no idea about color theory, visual perceptions such as depth and contrast detection, and generally how human vision and perception work. They tried to copy the UI of Elite: Dangerous, but again failed, hopefully, someone will create a mod to fix this in the near future.

    Last, but not least: the bugs. There are a lot of bugs: from NPCs flying in the air, to ships ejecting you in the middle of space, to NPCs talking with their back at you, to items disappearing from your inventory, this game has it all. I don't think any amount of additional development could have fixed it, the game could've been released in 2025 and still would've had the same issues. The problem is with internal resource allocation, feature prioritization, and technological innovation and implementation.

    In all honesty, Microsoft cannot save this company no matter how hard they try. The only way to bring Bugfesda on track is to completely reset and restructure them, starting with removing Toad Howard from any decision-making position. Every game he spearheaded in the last decade ended up a complete failure at launch and a blatant cash-grab during its roadmap, which sparked constant controversy and PR backlash.    … Expand

    A bunch of PS5 players are really butthurt and review bombing the game. That’s really childish considering this is the next Skyrim. Mod support will give this game near limitless potential. It’s very captivating and after 50 hours I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface. Highly recommend!

    I only have about 50 hours in the game rn but so far I'm loving it, I was skeptical at first but I think Bethesda took a risk on a new IP and it's paid off with how much depth they've put into this game I can wait to get off work so I can go home and play more and I'm eager to see how the game ends and the new game plus plays out. P.S. anyone whos worried about the planets being loaded inI only have about 50 hours in the game rn but so far I'm loving it, I was skeptical at first but I think Bethesda took a risk on a new IP and it's paid off with how much depth they've put into this game I can wait to get off work so I can go home and play more and I'm eager to see how the game ends and the new game plus plays out. Um jogo de tiro, com comandos duros, iria destruir todo o projeto simplesmente adicionar suporte pra mouse e teclado e permitir o jogador desfrutar do produto como achar melhor ??? Iria falir a microsoft fazer esse pequeno investimento presente até mesmo em jogos indie? Outro ponto é a localização de áudio, há raras ocasiões onde eu realmente acho que uma localização de áudio estragaria a recepção cinematográfica, e starfield não é uma delas. Não há um único grande ator renomado ou extremamente talentoso fazendo as vozes dos npcs pra justificar a falta de uma localização (vide Elden Ring) , na verdade eu tenho a plena certeza de que os dubladores brasileiros teriam feito 1000x melhor e com mais emoção cada situação apresentada, mas quanto a isso eu entendo que seria sim uma diferença significativa no orçamento. Também não gostei do desempenho do jogo no xbox series S , com o jogo crashando e tendo apenas uma opção gráfica que deixa o jogo travando e tentando ser bonito sem conseguir, me senti novamente na época do "PC fraco" com a diferença que no PC fraco mesmo travando e com gráficos low eu jogava a 60 fps na maior parte do tempo. Tentei dar uma chance ao jogo joguei umas boas horas mas eu , como milhares de outros, e como é de nosso direito como consumidor, não consigo me adaptar a um jogo de tiro no controle, e a xbox criou um padrão nos últimos anos onde todos seus exclusivos vinham com suporte para mouse e teclado, o que me fez investir nos periféricos e agora não posso usar pois empresas bilionárias como activision blizzard e bethesda sabem que isso só é bom pro consumidor, já que a mídia crítica vai jogar no PC mesmo... Como podem sonhar com goty, the game awards? Não perceberam que até os jogos controversos que conquistaram o prêmio, eram de qualidade notável acima da média? Com opções inovadoras e acessibilidade respeitável, sempre pensando como tornar o jogo mais agradável possível para o consumidor, enquanto esse faz propositalmente decisões que tornam o jogo desagradável, ou que removem opções para os jogadores. Porquê no PC tem suporte a controle, e inclusive, NINGUÉM usa pois jogo de tiro no mouse é muito melhor, e no xbox somos obrigados a usar o que ninguém escolhe quando tem a opção? E porquê isso só passou a ser comum e ignorável após a vinda da bethesda? Pra mim quem gostou do jogo tem todo o direito de gostar, inclusive tenho certeza que com suporte a mouse e teclado eu conseguiria encarar o começo pífio do jogo e chegar aos momentos que todos exaltam, mas minha experiência foi péssima ao passar meia hora tentando ajustar sensibilidade pra conseguir jogar jogo de tiro no controle, e ainda assim ficar 60 segundos tomando tiro até conseguir colocar a mira em cima do inimigo pra acertar UM. Também entendo quem está criticando o jogo COM MOTIVOS e não apenas fanatismo, pois estamos vindo de longos anos sem um first-party de expressão e a promessa em cima de starfield era pra no mínimo TENTAR agradar o maior número de jogadores possível, o que é óbvio não aconteceria, mas o jogador mais exigente adoraria ver a empresa tentando fazer um jogo com capricho, e não ignorando coisas que não dariam tanto trabalho ao mesmo tempo que trariam melhorias significativas. Pra mim o erro do jogo foi dar liberdade demais pra bethesda, ao invés de exigir pelo menos a qualidade que já vinha sendo apresentada nos jogos first-party (qualidade geral, e não de enredo ou qualquer outra coisa, pois eu jamais questionaria a qualidade dos escritores da bethesda). Em suma, pra mim o pecado de starfield é exatamente o mesmo de Diablo IV, investir valores absurdos mas só se preocupar com a recepção crítica e não do consumidor, cortando qualidade de vida em prol de momentos específicos que chamam atenção pro marketing do jogo.… Expand

    100% Bethesda. Si te gusta el rol de Bethesda como Fallout o Skyrim te encantará Starfield. Un RPG increíblemente grande y hermoso. Lo único que echo en falta es la compatibilidad de teclado y ratón.

    The beginning is very slow, you really need a couple hours to get into it.
    Ive experienced a couple of severe bugs which forced me to reload an older save.
    Except a couple of fps drops when loading an area it runs very smoothly for me on an rtx 3070.
    Now ofc releasing a not finished game is a disgusting business practice and truly despicable.

    But its common practice now isnt it?

    So looking past that, Ive experienced a great game with a lot of great stories, I like the gunplay, I like jumping around with a jetpack in different gravities and I like the immense variety the Planets offer.
    Theres a cyberpunk planet, a cowboy planet, a boring "perfect" world planet, a beach planet and I feel like ive barely seen 10% of it all.

    Overall its fun
    Its not perfect, its bugged its big and takes you time to get into it but its not as bad as other players want you to believe.
    Solid 8.

    **spoilers** the random encounters are still Bethesdaesque great, the Colonyship from 2100 that wants to colonise a planet but comes too late becaues they travelled for 200 Years? Or you becoming a Spy for the Government, undermining the Space Pirates just because I stole some stupid Item? Great Fun
    Remember running into Soltitude and seeing the beheading of some guy? Now theres Hostages in a Bank and you can be the one to intervene, with sword or word.

Stereotypically Bethesda experience with much smoother and refined gun play, mechanics and far less bugs than I’ve ever come across in a Bethesda title. The Comparison to “No Man’s Sky” can beStarfield is a game filled with Character, although it takes some time to shine through… like 5 or 6 hours of time.     Lacks any memorable characters or quests. Is very well designed, and almost seemless, but lacks any bit of quest depth, thought, or replayability. It is a Bethesda game by name and engine alone.

    It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

    While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
