    I will start by saying I do like the graphics on this game however the game as a whole is boring. You get a mission, go to an island and complete the same task as you have done 20 times already before sailing back to an outpost to hand it in. Absolutely no variety in this game. This game feels like it just put all the basics of a game together but not actually tried to make it fun and challenging. They have not tried to do anything different or even better. I would suggest using the xbox pass 14 day free trial to confirm this before buying.… Expand

    I just loved the game in my first gameplay! The game is really ambicious. And c'mon, the most of comments here is from fanboys, there's a lot of empty argumments, it's really sad because we need good games like this and they can't see what kind of cancer they are. So, let's stop with console war and play the games.

    Bad, long load times - I'm writing this at a load screen right now. Any time you die you get the same long load screen No starting tutorial at all... Bad matchmaking settings LONG load times Bad interface - its an obvious console port - weird mouse support and interaction, some UI elements related to mouse are missing.     I played this game with a friend yesterday on PC for hours. The premise is cool, but Sea of Thieves is a joke right now. There isn't as much content, there's about 7 or 8 hours I think, and the game gets so repetitive, at least it was for us. When you think that this game was announced in 2015 and was only released now ... it has several betas and game 'yet' lacks of content ... it's justI played this game with a friend yesterday on PC for hours.     Very repetitive game, and with a very high price, I did not like it. It seemed to be cooler before, but it has not changed much from the beta as well, plus the PC version is giving a lot of trouble.

    The only benefit here is the game is "free" on Xbox Game Pass. It may be worth a try or an occasional dip in if you want to casually drift around aimlessly for 90% of your gaming session. You certainly don't want to pay full retail price for this - a game which feels very much like a beautiful looking free-to-play title.    … Expand

    I never create accounts for things like this, but i did just to rate this game 10. Best game I've ever played. I've never played a game that gives you the freedom to play like this game. Each time you log in will be different than the last. The idea is "players creating stories together." If you understand this before playing, you'll get a better sense of what the game is about.     Sea of Thieves is Rare's latest game after a near 20 year drought out of the company and with their latest works being, Kinect Sports and Killer Instinct they have come out swinging ready to try and top the charts again. Launch Day for SOT was absolutely god awful, the servers got so flooded Rare barred new players from joining, and after 3 stress tests over the past month it isSea of Thieves is Rare's latest game after a near 20 year drought out of the company and with their latest works being, Kinect Sports and Killer Instinct they have come out swinging ready to try and top the charts again. Launch Day for SOT was absolutely god awful, the servers got so flooded Rare barred new players from joining, and after 3 stress tests over the past month it is unacceptable that launch day was literally unplayable. Some would blame the Xbox Gamepass for the flooded servers, and being that this is the first major Xbox Exclusive to launch as part of gamepass it is very possible they underestimated the amount of people who saved up their two week free trial for Sea of Thieves.

    As a kid I played Pirates of The Caribbean Online with my friends and we heavily enjoyed our pirate adventures and I am happy to say Sea of Thieves scratches the pirate itch I've had for years. The graphics mostly the water, are absolutely stunning, my only complaint is the in my opinion, awful looking characters in most cases. For a game based on being YOUR own pirate it is kind of odd that you are stuck with a wonky random character generator, I myself spent 47 minutes trying to find the perfect character model only to not be able to connect to the servers on launch day.

    The gameplay is fun solo or with a team as you learn to work together and operate smoothly in combat and how to pull maneuvers like a dogleg to gain an edge in ship battles. At release the game has only a few things the betas didn't, the kraken and certain factions to trade for. I myself haven't encountered a Kraken yet but rumor has it that it's very disappointing. Chest grinding for sure gets boring and the game can become very repetitive however sailing the seas looking for other pirates to plunder or become friends with is extremely fun. Sea of Thieves is a game that you can play for 12 hours if you wish or just pick it up for an hour or 2 after a long days work. Overall the game is good and has great potential but if Rare does not get some fresh content out soon the game will tank.    … Expand

Playing with friends is fun, and there is plenty of opportunity for a role-playing style of gameplay, but playing by yourself can get pretty boring. The visual style is impressive, though, and the open-world feel is quite immersive. The mechanics feel natural and not at all clunky, and the experience the game brings when interacting with other players is pretty satisfying. But, with not much to offer at launch, Sea of Thieves is a game best to be bought in the coming months - once more content is released.     Great game! Although a lot of people are saying its lacking content... it has all a sandbox needs. Then add friends and mix well. Great game to spend some awesome time discovering great stories, loot and having naval battles.

    It's the journey, not the destination.
    Will only get better with time.

It is just plain boring overall with very few fun moments with friends. Not much has changed from alpha, and seems like the appropriate price should be 30 dollars, not 60.     El Juego entrega un enorme libertad, es una gran experiencia cooperativa que permite abordar el desafio solo o en multijugador, es cierto que se extraña una campaña , pero tiene mucho lore que descubrir, a pesar de las criticas de los trolls el juego entrega una gran variedad de misiones y tambien una magnifica hambientacion, tiene mucho por dar.

If you don't know, there are 3 factions or merchants or mission types: Gold Hoarders, you find a treasure and you sell it, Order of Souls, you kill an amount of skeletons and a capitain then you sell the capitain's head, and Merchant Sailor, you found resources or animals, and you sell them. And that's it. With the gold you obtain, you can buy more missions, and cosmetics for EVERYTHING. You increase levels on each factions, when you reach 50/50/50 you will become a Pirate legend. And you will ask, why its a master piece if its only that? Because its not that all, there are Skeleton forts with some treasures, there ere other pirates to fight with them, and there is a kraken to beat or to be beaten by him. And also there is time to sink your ship.
    Obviously this game needs more content, and it has bugs. but right now its fun, and thats it porpouse.

    Grande porcaria esse jogo, e ainda tem gente que prefere esses exclusivos lixos do Xbox One do que os do PC, PS4, Switch. Esse jogo é totalmente hypado, só tem um mapa, e é 100% Online, ou seja, se você tiver sem internet na hora de jogar, você vai fica chupando o dedo. Não recomendo esse jogo pra ninguém, esperem pelo State of Decay 2, porque Sea of Thieves é uma bela de uma porcaria.

However, after playing several hours of SoT, it's a nice pace of change of the type of battles you get into, unexpected situations, the amazing group play, and the beautiful scenery.

    I did try running solo, but that only gets you so far. This game is made to be played with    I was one of the guys that was unsure of SoT. I usually need a shoot em up games like Titanfall and Battlefield 1. However, after playing several hours of SoT, it's a nice pace of change of the type of battles you get into, unexpected situations, the amazing group play, and the beautiful scenery.

    I did try running solo, but that only gets you so far. This game is made to be played with two or more players. Take a lot of communication and teamwork to manage the ship and to get from one destination to another.

    At first, the game can be pretty overwhelming. There's not much guidance on how to start the game and what you need to do to start some Voyages. You're thrown into the game and go from there on your own.

    This game is not for everyone. If you're the type of player that likes to play solo, this may not be for you. If you game with a set of friends, then SoT is definitely for you and your friends.    … Expand

    O jogo é sensacional, desde o barulho da madeira rangendo até o nascer do sol refletindo na água mais bonita que eu já vi em um jogo, isso é apenas um detalhe no aspecto visual, não estou citando a física, fator diversão, co-op com os amigos e etc.
    Vale muito a pena dar uma chance ao jogo e tentar entender um pouco a proposta que ele quer passar ao jogador.

    Sea Of Thieves começou meio estranho, mais definitivamente se tornou um game incrível e extremamente divertido. A Rare fez algo extremamente diferente, um multiplayer incrível, com uma jogabilidade divertido que faz você passar horas sem se cansar ou se sentir entediado. Realmente incrível.

    Esse jogo é mto top, ontem estava com meus amigos jogando em meio a uma batalha naval tripla, quando surge o kraken e começa a atacar todos os barcos. PQP me senti nos piratas do caribe, lutando contra o kraken e contra os outros navios ao mesmo tempo. Por sorte do destino conseguimos vencer a batalha naval e fugir do kraken com nosso loot valioso, uma galinha.

The cartoonishly low-detail style of the game results in an amazing visual fidelity reserved for lighting and *gasp* water effects achieved on both the XBONE and PC, and as a bit of an artist I can appreciate what they've done in terms of graphics.
    However, I understand that this is a game with faults, and hate to say that Rare have made quite a few. I played the open beta, I understand all the nuances with the boating system but can easily see why people are frustrated. There is no tutorial outside of the cryptic tips given during the loading screens, and for all Rare have put into making this system feel good they've completely skimped on an explanation. Sure new players can search it up, but when they're using Xbox Game Pass, why even bother when you can move onto the next game?
    Aside from that, I think Sea of Thieves is worth picking up if you are whiling to pick up some skills on the fly, and the visual fidelity as well as ease of basic mechanics such as movement and questing are great. While there aren't a crazy amount of different quests, there sure are a ton of ways to earn money and unlock sweet loot, so I'm pleased with what there right now. I thought I'd just add that I played a good amount with friends and also myself, and even when I was captaining a sloop the experience never got lonely whether it be by way of chickens or other inquisitive pirates.
    So would I recommend this game?

    Great visuals, good base game, but that's were it stops. This game has enough content for 4-5 hours, and then u have to make the rest yourself. Sadly to do something awsome u kinda need more then 24 people(which u can't..). Meh mby with constant updates for 2-3 years, mby it has enough to do.

    The visuals are absolutely stunning and boat mechanics are great fun but sadly the game feels a little hollow, the way that you interact with NPCs seems really sloppy, the text boxes are annoying to navigate through and the lack of voice or cutscene just kills it for me. Would it really have hurt to add in some cutscenes when you speak to the NPCs?

    With a beautiful blue sea and dangers all around, the world fells alive and filled with possibilities! The matchmaking is superb on its role to find people to play and communicate, making everyone work together for the same goal. There are stil plenty more things to be done to make the game even better, but until then the time spent in the ship is still boring AF.

    Sea of thieves is a fun game, it offers lots of different things to try, and the wave graphics are absolutely outstanding. Although, it still feels very empty, as if there could be a lot more in the game.

    5 - sell your treasure to a NPC, and repeat 1-4 all over again.

    I can't really understand the long development time. I give it a 3 because the water looks cool. The 60 dollar price is horrible, if you want to try it, buy the game pass.

Parece uma brincadeira de mal gosto, parece mais um run simulator. Não recomendo a ninguém, jogo sem graça e enjoativo, só tem um mundo, sempre a mesma coisa, sem história e monótono.

    The game is incredibly simple but also incredibly fun, the multiplayer is intuitive and enjoyable and the stylised graphics look absolutely stunning! I have had a few problems with bugs here and there but I'm trusting Rare to iron those out fairly quickly. Rare, you have redeemed yourself. 10/10

    Jogo inova em trazer uma jogabilidade cooperativa que o torna único. Além de um ambiente vasto consegue fazer com que as quests se tornam interessante e desafiadoras conforme vai se explorando cada vez mais. Além de belos gráficos é notável a estratégia da MS em fazer com que seus requisitos sejam alcançados em computadores de configurações inferiores sem perder a qualidade.

I mean the combat is kinda **** the graphics are nothing special, it's definitely lacking in content, and it's not like they had to spend a bunch of money hiring voice actors and writers either lol. It's a scam.

Cuando vi el juego en un tráiler hace 3 años, recuerdo mencionar que se me hacia un juego X, sin chiste un juego mas de con Online Permanente, sin embargo al permitirme jugar la BETA CERRADA, cambie totalmente de opinión, Jugué solo y mis primeras impresiones fue ver esas olas realmente realistas, debo decir que tengo una TV con HDR y hay una mejora realmente alta al ver el océano y los escenarios, realmente es un juego entretenido, pero donde mas me divertí fue cuando invite a mis amigos fue totalmente entretenido, el hecho de poner navegar sin que el mapa te indique a donde ir, debes guiarte con los instrumentos disponibles tal cual un pirata, como también los combates entre piratas se tornan muy entretenidos y por ultimo me encanta esa esencia de intriga y de suspenso de saber que hay mas al fondo del océano saber que asecha un kraken, sin duda un juego muy entretenido.… Expand

I can think of two dozen games release in the past 12 months that make this game look laughable. Cartoonish graphics, obviously not an artistic choice but a cheap way to substain a decent frame rate, shallow gameplay, and lacking in just about everything that modern gamers deserve.

There is plenty to do to learn the game and enjoy being a pirate as things are will be ramping up as time goes on. I’ve played this alone and with my young sons and they loved every minute.
