    Excellent game with the right group, rather lonely otherwise. Sea of Thieves has a lot of promise in just the sheer exploration factor. However, even with a group of pirate friends online, the world can feel a bit empty at times.

    Overtime, I imagine Rare will fill this out but until then, yes there is fun to be had exploring and battling fellow pirates.     The game itself is pretty fun and have some nice elements. The Graphics are part of the artistic elements of the game, together with a fun and entertaining environment set o a pirates world. The game purpose is well given and surely has a LOT of space for improvement and new features (which the developer stated it will be eventually released during the coming months.     Sea of thieves is a game that revolves around sailing your ship around a vast open sea of dangerous but sometimes peaceful islands with treasure scattered throughout. During the first 5 hours of playing the game i found that my crew would not work together and would result in various screaming call outs but like the majority of games the more you play the game the better you will get at the game mechanics and in the later hours of my play time i found that i was able to use a diverse range of strategies with my team such as crashing an unmanned ship into an enemy or outmaneuvering them using the islands placed around the ocean.
    The main complaint by people is that it has a lack of content but i think this point is invalid due to it being a sandbox game where you create your own fun unlike other games where it seems like work (Destiny, Eso, Warframe, ect). Often when my friends and I play those games where you just grind we address the activities as "i need to do this" or "I've got to get this later" in sea of thieves its just whatever you want to do.

    But for everything sea of thieves does right there is something tedious and boring right around the corner.    … Expand

    The game throws players off the deep end, giving them ZERO info about how to play. looking back, the only way I would get it would be if it is free. A HUGE stinker for your 60$.

The community is worse than rust, the controls are clunky, and there is very little real content. You will be attacked without a single word by every person you come across.     Great visuals and art design. The sailing in this game is also really fun and can get immersive. Unfortunately there is nothing groundbreaking about this game other than the water.

    Very little content, looks like a polished indie game. If there was content, and it was $9.99, could be a great game. Playing alone this game is abysmal, with friends you might laugh because your friends are funny people. The most regretful game purchase I have ever made.

    If it would have been free or around 15 dollars then I say it worth it. But there's not enough content to make it a full priced game. It's fun for a couple hours but it gets repetitive very quickly. The graphics look pretty good, I have to admit that.     Set sail, explore the beautifull world, fight and steal. If you have the spirit of a pirate, this game is for you!

    The game is not that bad. It's fun to sail with some friends and have a great time for like 50 hours, but it's only good way to get drunk to death and enjoy these beautiful seas. There is no progression, all changes are only cosmetic which may sound like a good thing for a game which focuses on equality, but you'll quickly see that there is no goal which would be worth of your time.

    I started playing Sea of Thieves when I all of my friends got the game and said that it was a fun game. I was welcomed by bright colors and a beautiful open world. What caught me off guard was the constant grind to get that new hat or that new coat you really wanted for your character. You had to complete several long, tedious missions just for a small bit of gold.     Eh. It's fun to mess around with friends on it, but by yourself...well let's just say you might want to get it for free on the Game Pass. It's repetitive, boring, and honestly has no point. As a multiplayer game, and a "free" one at that, it's probably an 8/10 game for me. But as a single-player game, it's a 4/10.

    One of the best "exclusives" on the Xbox. The game is not worth a cent, but the price tag is from her like in AAA projects. Do not buy or play this game, monotonous world, fun the first hour of the game. I would give it to -10 points if I had the opportunity, and so my traditional 0 points out of 10 ..

    Quite fun little game. Played the dlc yesterday and think I’m gonna play some more today. Don’t understand all the bad reviews. Yes it needs content, but it’s coming it seems, and the foundation of the game is fun

    However, if you play the game like a pirate, if you go looking to mess with other ships and forget about the stupid missions, try to sink boats and steal boats and steal other crews' loot, you're in for some of the most memorable experiences in gaming.

    Truly epic battles that never get old, hearing naive "friendly pirates" scream over their mics that you betrayed them while their boat sinks and you've got their loot, it NEVER gets old. That's all you need to know, buy this game.    … Expand

    As wide as an ocean, and as deep as a puddle.

    Sea of Thieves has extremely basic combat, very few weapons, no upgrades to your gear or your ship, very little content, extremely little choice in playstyles and generally nothing to do in it. Very disappointing, people are so bored that griefing others is the only way to entertain yourself.

    I don’t know what to say about this game. I feel like I am at a loss having to describe my feelings about this game. I have a hard time calling this a game. There is nothing to do, I felt nothing playing this game.

    It was interesting at first trying to figure out how to sail my ship but after I figured it out. It was pretty easy to replicate it.     It's beautiful. It can be fun, but unless you're playing with your friends it doesn't have very much charm. Even so, after a few hours the charm it does have wears off very quickly. I want to like it more, but its the kind of game I'd rather watch on youtube. I'm sure if it were at least half of it's price tag more people would be on board. Rating - 66%

Take The Witcher 3 - A game with 100+ hours of content, with great voice acting and i could go one. Then there is Sea of Thieves. With not much to do at all. Sure, you will have fun during the first 10 hours. Then you see the cracks. The same missions over and over. Fetch this. KillThe game is buggy at best. Outro problema que Sea of thieves enfrenta é a falta de passa tempos no navio (isso se aplica mais para jogadores solo já que que quem joga acompanhado pode sempre zoar com seus amigos) por isso um Sistema de pesca e pets seria muito bem vindo já que em uma viajem que não aprecem inimigos um jogador poderia simplesmente pescar enquanto o navio está em movimento ou brincar com seus pets na viajem. Mas agora indo para o problema mais grave de Sea of thieves temos a falta de itens não cosméticos, em Sea of thieves temos apenas itens cosméticos disponíveis para serem comprados que mesmo sendo interessantes não substitui uma boa espada e uma nova arma essa é o erro mais grava já que a Rare não aparenta ter nenhuma vontade de adicionar um item que não seja apenas uma skin diferente para as armas já existentes no jogo.

    No geral Sea of thieves é um bom jogo que sofre um pouco com o problema da repetição mas que te recompensa com uma jornada muito divertida em co op

    Nota como jogo mundo aberto: 9.5/10 Sea of thieves para mim é a definição de mundo aberto, você cria sua história e deixa seu legado no jogo e isso é incrível, a unica vez que vi algo assim em um jogo foi no incrível Minecraft

For the first few hours it is amazing! the cooperative play with my buddies was amazing! how ever it all ends after that first 3 hours of fun, Sea of Thieves fails to hit that 3 hours of fun again. It's as wide as an ocean, but has the depth of a puddle. There's no reason to turn my Xbox on and play this game, I feel like iSea of Thieves is everything you would want from a pirate game.     Stupid, boring, and online sucks! This game is basically The Divisions' Dark Zone in the sea. I did like the Fable style art they used, but other than that, the game was a total let down.

    Despite the amazing graphics and the stunning ambiance, the game has no content. It's fun to play for the first couple of hours, but then you start to question yourself why are you doing that for, there is no progression system. All you buy doesn't affect your gameplay or experience.

    There’s been some negative heat on this game and a lot of it is quite unjust. It has it’s issues but is a thoroughly enjoyable game. Coupled with that it’s free if you have Xbox Game Pass, which means this game is fantastic value for money as most casual games will sink about 10 hours into it.

    The visuals on the game are quite fun and cartoony, expect for the seas, which are absolutely stunning and will be the beast water (visually and mechanically) that you have ever seen.

    The game mechanics are pretty solid, everything works as it should. The sailing mechanics can be tricky to master (especially in a solo sloop) but are very rewarding once you know what you’re doing. The gun play is pretty simple and shallow, so against NPCs you will fair pretty well but in PvP it can be found wanting.

    Very fun to play with friends

This game doesn't hold your hand and the low reviews are from Sony fanboys or people who spent 4-5 hours in the game (basically a tutorial) and thought that's all there is. Try taking on a 4-man galleon all my yourself, until you can intimidate that kind of crew all alone then you haven't even started to know how to play this game. If you're still sailing around in your brown non-painted ship with white cloth as sails, it shows you have not experienced the game enough but when you're rolling up in a painted ship with an actual flag then you have the right to say this game has little content if you wish.… Expand

    I've had a lot of fun playing Sea of thieves its a truly unique game being able to form a crew and have naval combat, raiding skeleton forts and digging up precious booty.

    Although I have to be honest this is an early access game in disguise on release it was a very bare bones experience but over the past few months they have added a lot of content and they have a lot more on the way.

    After around 4 hours of playing, I feel like I've done everything. This is one of the most boring games I have ever played. Repetitive, clunky, and way too easy.     1. Get a quest.

    Shame this comes from a previously great studio, has nothing going for it it seems that business as usual Rare started developing and funds stopped half way through so had to push it out in its current state, feel sorry for Rare. The game is boring beyond imagination and worse yet we're asked 60 USD/EUR for it.

    Well... If they wanted the biggest disappointment award, they earned it for sure. The game itself gets boring after maybe 10-20 hours and since the game is full price, it's almost outrageously bad for the price. Even with friends, the game quickly becomes duller then a rusty knife and has to be one of my most hated games right now.

    Progression system is just nonexistent, your rewars for exploring and progressin in the 3 factions is just money to buy clothes and ship pieces that doesnn't even add any gameplay feature to the game ¡everything is just visual stuff!

    This is just a shallow game, and it's a shame because the idea is so atractive, but it feels that Rare was just scratching the surface of what the game could have been    … Expand

We decided to sail towards the Sloop and hope that the Galleon chasing us would take the easy bait. We laughed our butts off seeing this poor Sloop get hammered by the Galleon chasing us and we continued our treasure hunts after that. This is what the game is all about, making memories and stories with your friends. I love the community in this game and I love the randomness in this game. We are all pirates in this game and there are no actual "rules of engagement" in this game so be ready to be both the antagonist and protagonist in this great game.… Expand

Playing on Xbox is an uphill battle dealling with PC players with the advantages inherent with PCs, PC cheats, etc. Crossplay was always listed as a feature but it was never stated that it would be MANDATORY. I've played almost everyday for 2 hours for 40 days, so i'm over 60 hours.... that is less than 1 doillar an hour for the incredible fun i've had so far. I can't come up with a recent game that has given me so much value for money. I'm not done with sea of thieves and i can't wait to sail out with my ship for more adventure!     The ONLY thing you receive in the game is cosmetic items for all that gold you haul, that combined with a 1st person perspective means you don't even see your character, not that you would want to, the character models are deliberately made grotesque (even the mermaids are hideous). I'm thinking there was a strong SJW influence over this game with the "no one loses" mentality and only fat chicks allowed, beauty is forbidden.

    The only standout hope for the game is PvP ship battles, but the weaponry sucks. Ultimately this game feels like a $5 mobile game, and I don't see any reason to pay more for it. If you want a good game try building a boat in Ark Survival Evolved, it has incredible depth and freedom, a very underrated game.    … Expand

    Honestly a very fun game. If you're a person that doesn't like to choose what you do and buy games for the shooting aspect or the role-playing aspect of it than SoT might not be the best game for you. I love it because I can fight skeletons, fight other people, or just look for chests depending on what I want to do.

    I find it hard to not give a game a 10, if it has captured my fickle attention span to the point of playing it every day. The game isn't perfect, but no game ever will be.     The ocean and weather are beautiful. I still stare in awe as I watch over the hyper realistic waves to watch a Storm develop. Being a storm spotter myself, it's interesting how much they got right while taking huge liberties on how weather works. The clouds have this weird amorphic abilities as tendris of clouds reach out over the sky. It feels as if I'm in a new reality with a different ruleset, and I am very comfortable there. After a long day, I'll just hop in a boat and sail.

    The rep/gold grind is a grueling task as a mostly solo player, but remains addictive even after a month of only 3 different types of missions. I can't imagine how great it will be once they roll out additional content!

    The game looks fine and enjoyable at first, but after a good 5-6 hours of playing it, the game feels like it has already given everything it can offer, which to me, isn't very fun and interesting.

    Microsoft better start coming out with better exclusives. We all spend a lot for their product and all we are seeing are low quality games. Sea of Thieves is not worth the 65 dollars. The last few games for the system haven't been worth the time and money. I guess we all bought a 500 dollar dust collector!

Ele foi efeito para ser jogador em grupo e se possível com amigos dispostos a incorporar/encenar um pirata para sair pelo alto mar fazendo as quests propostas. The game desperately needs a player behavior monitor such as that in GTA, where aggressive power players are only matched with other such types, so more casual players don't get fed up. All in all the game is built on solid physics and a good premise, but ultimately fails to deliver any lasting enjoyment.… Expand

    One enemy type (not including the bodyless kraken. A dismal amount of weapons. Finding treasure chests, only to realise you need to take it to some guy to open it who gives you gold every single time. Yuck..... We have the most powerful console and this is what we get, sad time to be a Xbox owner.

    We have nothing but respect for Rare's vision with Sea of Thieves, but it is a game as likely to chew you up and spit you out, as it is to embrace you. If the wind is in your favour then it can be a delight, but a storm is never far off if you lose momentum. The real test of the quality and efficacy of Rare's plan will be in how it manages to evolve and grow in the weeks and months to come. [Issue#199, p.67]
