    Hmm, mega clumsy presentation which makes the first hours a dull grind. Good car handling and nice haptic controller feedback. I miss a custom championship mode. It's not a racing sim and the A.I. sucks. Could have been so much better.

    Great game, day one game is one of the best gran turismo in a long time, lots of cars, tracks, things to do. Weather effects( clouds, rain) are fantastic. There is lot to love in this game. Can't wait for more single player content as announced.

    Wholesome Gran Turismo fun, while the graphics are beautiful and simulation improved it just feels a step back from GT6. The key missing feature is the Data Logger, which really helped you understand changes to driving and setup, it was disappointing that it didn't make it into the rush job that was GT sport but it's a crime that it's not in for the release of GT7. So it's back to tryingWholesome Gran Turismo fun, while the graphics are beautiful and simulation improved it just feels a step back from GT6. So it's back to trying to analyse the replays which are optimised for beauty rather than usefulness.

    The menu system is still as clunky as ever but we've all become used to that over the years. All the unnecessary fluff about car culture should of been put in a document on a side menu rather than in the main game and all the useful stuff about car handling should of been taken out of the side menu and put in the main game. It's sad to see so much effort put into Luca's road block content that you furiously try to skip over to get to the next bit of game.

    I've noticed people complaining about it being always online when in 2022 this is pretty much the norm, with cloud saves, etc. Also lots of fluff about micro transactions being in the game also but we had them in GT6 as well along with the really expensive cars.

    So yeah it's entertaining but it makes you wonder if Polyphony Digital have just been wasting time since GT6.

    Update: bombing the rating as it seems to be the only thing that PD / Sony notice. In the context of massively expensive cars out there and the massively high cost of credits, the item mall fails to understand the concept of micro transactions. Also the roulette random payouts are annoying, they take too long and 99% of the time you get junk.

    In light of the 1.07/1.08 update dumpster fire it seems that PD are unwilling to fix the issue with any urgency. While saying they don't want people to have to grind, they reduce the payouts to make people have to grind more, when in fact they should of been adding zeros to the payouts and removing them from the prices.    … Expand

UNACCEPTABLE MICRO-TRANSACTIONS I got hit with Mtx before the game had fully loaded! On my Home Screen asking me for real money if I want to buy credits.     The score will be worsened a bit again because they still have not leaned when it comes to imho illegal systems.. Eg. the malicious daily ticket "reward" rolls. It just cannot be that every day the reward is the worst one possible out of the five. Still very obviously intended to make people buy the rewards themselves.

    *Upping my score to a 6/10 because of the good will in the 1.09 patch. It is a great restart after messing up badly! If they continue to improve in april the score will go back to a 9/10*

    At the start it was a 9/10 but I decreased it to a 1/10 because of the aggressive transaction systems and always online requirement.
    The funny thing is that they implemented this transaction system AFTER all the positive reviews! And now they even further sharpened that aggressive system.. just.. what?.. Please do something about this! If not Sony or Polyphony then someone else force them to drop this moneygrabbing bs. People allready payed 70 euros or more for ghis game!
    To think I bought a PS5 for mainly this game! Right now I feel robbed and hope they fix the game. I want to adjust my score upwards..    … Expand

    Very enjoyable and great graphics/physics but could do with more single player content and would love it to not be always online.

    Shame the grind to buy expensive cars, leading to micro transactions on top of a full priced AAA game isn’t great :(

    To be expected to pay in addition to a costly £70 game with very few race types per track, poor music and pay-to-play mechanics, its just so disappointing. I can live with few race types per track as I assume they will add those in the future - but to ask you to pay for more cars while nerfing the ability to earn credits to play and earn the cars is ridiculous.     The game looks and plays well, but the menus are frustrating and slow to navigate and I expected more from the multiplayer modes. You spend a lot of time just waiting. The campaign is fun for a while, but the AI drivers are very slow, so it gets too easy if you drive the recommended car with the recommended performance, even without any assist.

    I preordered PS5 disk version in Feb but on the release date i couldn't get it as Sony decided to cancel the release of the game in my country. After reading other players reviews i realise that i could be even good as i won't get greedy game (cost of the cars was already absurd in GT Sports) and Sony will not get my money.     Feeling annoying after paying a high premium price for this game to find that they are very greedy by micro transactions to purchase cars of your choice. Silly amounts of credits are required to collect the cars you want. Unless you want to use the free cars that everyone else uses, update, glad they listened, so much more fun and a an awesome game.

    This game deserved the harsh criticism for its poor economy and micro transactions. However, the latest update 1.11 does remedy alot of my complaints. Game is the best sim experience with a steering when on console!

    If you want to platinum you HAVE to play sport mode (need to finish 50 races), but sport mode is terrible. You only get penalties for cutting tracks or overtake under yellow flag. There is NOTHING for unfair players and they know it. They will beat you out of the track, makes you enter on boxes and after you leave the box its YOU who receives a penalty for "cutting" the track, but thoseIf you want to platinum you HAVE to play sport mode (need to finish 50 races), but sport mode is terrible. Was gonna review my score into a better one, but sport mode is no fun, its a angry simulation. I wish I could lower than 0.

    I wish I read these reviews before I purchased the game. I played all GT games since the first one, and this is the first time I'm giving a negative review. Even with GT3, Sport, this is honestly the first time I've felt that a GT game deserved a negative review.     Microtransactions dans un jeu acheté plein tarif, c'est inadmissible.
    Sans oublié l'histoire de dépondre d'une connexion internet pour un jeu qui contient une partie majoritaire de jeu solo. C'est abusif.

This is the basis for making Gran Turismo 7 a very good game in the future.

    Unfortunately, the rest of the game makes it mediocre. One can get the impression that Polyphony Digital designers stopped with knowledge about User and Customer Experience in the 90s.

    Badly designed game screens. For example, after a race in the Cafe menu, you have to click OK more than 10 times to exit. If you also get a car and gain a level, the number of clicks reaches about 15. Who designs games like that?

    Players cannot enjoy split-screen mode until the completion of specific single player challenges. It is no different with the online mode. What's more, when setting up a room in online mode, we can only choose the tracks that have been unlocked in single player. Do you seriously want to decide for the players how to have fun? It is as if LEGO forbid building own sets from bricks and restrict customer to building only the one from the manual. This is ridiculous.

    Back to online. Qualifications removed, room settings cannot be saved, existing room settings cannot be edited, grid cannot be edited. The game has been devoid of basic functions that allow players to have fun with theirs friends. Instead of progress, we have regress. GT7 is unplayable in this aspect. Anyone who plays Gran Turismo with friends will stay with the Sport edition.

    The lack of new tracks, well-known single player challenges from previous games, and few new cars make the GT7 feel more like a remaster of previous parts than some new and special game. A small number of changes can be understood in a series that is released every year like FIFA, NBA, etc. But not in Gran Turismo that is released every few years.

    The characters added to the game are uninteresting, their presentation is more like a browser game than AAA (avatar and written text). Their statements are as boring as if they had been prepared by some poor text generator. It’s better to read Wikipedia.

    Back to UX / CX again. Changing screens activate playback of a new song, so it’s impossible to listen to entire song. It sounds more like jingles. Car descriptions cannot be scrolled using the steering wheel. The Thrustmaster T500 steering wheel works with the PS4 version of the game, but not with the PS5 version. HUD is not customizable. Videos (as boring as those generic texts) cannot be skipped. I could go on and on like that.

    Generally, Polyphony Digital does not learn anything, GT games are painfully repetitive, good solutions from competing games do not go to GT. In fact, even good solutions from the series disappear (online lobby settings).

    Considering what I wrote at the beginning, there is hope that GT7 will become a better game. I hope as soon as possible, before GT7 disappears forever from the disks of our consoles.

    We need SPEC 2.0 ASAP that will especially fix online lobbies.

    Pros:
    + driving model
    + weather conditions
    + change of time of day

    Cons:
    - unplayable online mode
    - no new track
    - challenges pasted from earlier games
    - no significant changes
    - terrible User and Customer Experience

Obligation d'être connecté à leurs serveurs pour pouvoir jouer en mode solo, prix des voitures exorbitant, prime des courses faméliques, maintenance qui prennent des heures et qui t'empêchent de jouer et aucune explications sur ce qu'il se passe. Tout est fait pour te pousser à mettre du pognon dans le jeu, l'esprit GT est définitivement aux oubliettes...

Obligation d'être connecté à leurs serveurs pour pouvoir jouer en mode solo, prix des voitures exorbitant, prime des courses faméliques, maintenance qui prennent des heures et qui t'empêchent de jouer et aucune explications sur ce qu'il se passe.     While the foundation of the game deserves a far higher review. The games broken economy, and pay to win scheme through micro transactions along with very little content that isn’t locked behind a paywall…….destroy any value this game could have. Until those issues are rectified, I strongly discourage others from purchasing a broken game.

    After the 1.09 patch PD is getting in a better path.

Few road cars from the last 5 years are present and the Gr.3 category is outdated. Menu design is not intuitive. Unacceptable AI for a 2022 racing game and a poor career mode called GT Café with no actual racing as you chase the rabbit and encounter rubber-banding AI. Online is a complete disaster, Sport Mode hasn't been improved from GT Sport and lobbies are backwards and mostly deserted by now. The grind is the worst of all GT games with low race payouts to encourage microtransaction purchases. FOMO everywhere. Split screen is broken. Not possible to sell cars unlike every other main GT game. Many QOL features from GT Sport missing from GT7. The soundtrack is poor and reusing mostly Daiki Kasho tracks. To top it all off, PD are out of touch with what the community wants. Either something changes with the management of PD or GT8 will not be any better.… Expand

    Don't trust review score because it is heavily malevolent bombed by Forza fanboy zombies who is paid by MircoSoft. There are only really 3 events that pay big $, and only one of them I would do for efficiency. I love Tokyo but Im tired of grinding that event.     However earning money is still difficult and the thing that annoys me the most is the reward roulette!

    When you complete certain actions including your daily workout, I.e. drive roughly 26 km you get a price. In GT sport the daily workout resulted in a roulette of one of five cars. Now it is either car(s) , car parts or (always) money in different amounts. During my play and at least 18 roulette spins (one star and two star) I have consistently been awarded the lowest award which is worth next to nothing. I've been sitting, hoping against better judgement, that I would receive a good reward this time but alas no.

    It almost felt personal sitting there getting that low reward every time, feeling cheated, and realizing that they are so greedy that they mess with such a minor thing as the probabilitíes of the roulette.

    So all in all, according to others better than before, still irritatingly greedy in a way that has impacted my interest in playing further and in my opinion ruining the possibility of a good gaming experience. You can not have all the fun you as a gamer like and deserve without paying a lot of extra for an already AAA-priced game. Stay away for a bit longer and hope they keep adjusting.    … Expand

The problem is the "campaign" is short. There is no endurance races and there are no F1 or kart races for campaign.The game seems unfinished to get you to buy microtransactions and buy all the cars. The campaign does not offer enough for the amount of cars needed to complete your collection . The game is online only, and there are bugs that stop progression. One of the bugs prevents you from tuning a vehicle, which was a mission in the "campaign". Other bugs, prevent you from saving tuning loadouts and also change tires for a dirt rally license test. The User Interface does take up alot of the screen and cannot be customized. In multiplayer they have people that ride the walls without time penalties, this allows them to keep their top speed around turns. There is a two player split screen which is great, BUT YOU HAVE TO BE ONLINE FOR THAT. Changed score from 4/10 to 1/10 after they nerfed game… Expand

I was so passionate about the game but it didn't bring fun and joy to me. Disappointing.

    The driving is great as always, but the selection of cars is many variants of the same cars and the MTXs are a joke. OK they are not essential, but the game is a grindfest and has predatory pay to win mechanics, which isn't on in a full priced release.

    Real shame that this game is a cash grab as the graphics are decent and more importantly the mechanics are decent too.

Anachronistic, boring, absurd and redundant menus. Day 0 already has extra payments and DLCs in the store to buy cars if you don't want to be stuck in the first races always. Cars that in GT Sport cost 4 USD here cost 40 USD. Ray tracing only in photo mode (it doesn't have it in the race). Decent car modeling on a poorly lit gray background to make a visual trick and highlight the car modeling (very cheap programming trick). The coffee mode is boring, there are no “text only” character voices, so let's read

    Accept it once and for all, Gran Turismo stayed in the 2000s and no longer knew how to advance, the last "Great" Gran Turismo was 3, after that neither the press nor the fans accept that the saga is well dead. This game looks more like a Gran Turismo Sport re-skin. Unless you have a lot of friends in garages and you want to dazzle them (or sell them) with those car posters that stick next to a model in a bathing suit, that's just what this game will do. I don't care if they say it's a "Prologue" edition and then they release a VSpec or ASpec version, I don't believe them anymore so save it.    … Expand

This mixed with limits on what cars you can actually purchase, and time limits on those create a situation where they are trying to get people to crack out the credit card and just funnel more cash.

    All of this, mixed with the fact this is ONLINE ONLY. YOU CANNOT PLAY THE GAME WITHOUT INTERNET OR SERVER CONNECTION. This review comes in during the 24+ hour server outage caused by a bad update on PD's side. The game has been out for 2 weeks and people cannot play it. This is going to cause major issues in the future, and effect the lifetime of this game.

An is example I got a gr2 car that I liked and then found out there are no **** gr2 events in the entire game. Yes I could make my gr2 car slightly worse to use it on the 800 pp race but then I would be going up against **** cars that are miles behind me. They added a new track with a race where you can actually use gr1 cars holy **** but never mind because the payout is terrible.     GT non delude mai. Bella la revisione vecchio stile GT della parte offline che è più godibile che in GTSport. Riguardo le micro transazioni, c'erano anche in GT Sport, non capisco tutto questo astio visto che si può benissimo proseguire il gioco senza utilizzarle. (Il gioco dà abbastanza crediti gareggiando).
    La competizione online è sempre quella con qualche aggiunta di sfide a tempo. Adoro.

    Графон кто бы что не говорил стал лучше и это замечаешь, когда долго играешь в GT7 потом включаешь GTS и видишь реально разницу: освещение, тени, разрешение выше, детализацию трека подтянули, про смену времени суток и динамическую погоду я вообще молчу.

    Что ешё меня порадовало, дак это прокачали звуки, они стали более натуральнее, звуки переключения передач, прострелы из выхлопной трубы.
    Так же порадовали функции "Dualsense", очень круто сделано, вибрация будто ощущаешь все 4 колеса, то есть ты заранее знаешь если тебя вот вот занесёт например. Адаптивные триггеры тоже делают своё дело, сопротивление при торможение и при нажатие газа очень информативны.
    ИИ подтянули, по началу конечно легко, но дальше бывают гонки где приходиться попотеть, главное, что они щас хотя бы могут ехать быстро, а то в GTS вообще очень овощные были(кстати софи - (продвинутый искусственный интеллект) - ещё не добавили, вот когда добавят, будет хардкор).
    Порадовали порой хардкорные тесты в лицензиях и специальных испытаниях, знакомства с трассой вообще стали очень сложные.
    По поводу онлайна, порадовало, что появились гонки не полностью блокирующие все настройки и тех. характеристики машины, а ограничивающие например только максимальную мощность и минимальный вес авто, а дальше делай, что хочешь, настраивай подвеску, кпп, тормоза, аэродинамику.
    А так же бывают гонки по рейтингу производительности, то есть по мимо соотношения мощности и веса, так же на тех. рейтинг влияет какая подвеска стоит, и как она настроена, как настроена кпп, аэродинамика , а так же какие шины стоят.
    Вот теперь о минусах, это очень скудная карьера, такая короткая, блин даже гонок на выносливости нету, которые были даже в GTS, хоть и были там короткие относительно тех, что были в GT4 и GT5 например. Мне вообще по ощущениями показалось что карьера короче чем в GTS. То есть в ней банально даже меньше разнообразия в категориях машин, вам не дадут в ней по участвовать в таких Классах как Gr.1,Gr.2, на каких нить формульных болидах с открытыми колесами.
    А теперь главная проблема игры. Это конечно же явное навязывание доната, можно и без него играть получать удовольствие, так как за карьеру вы прилично выиграйте авто и почти не понадобиться покупать авто для определенных гонок. А после обновления и без того малые призовые уменьшили в два раза, да конечно где то подняли, но в основном, теперь фармить на мега дорогие легендарные машины в два раз дольше.    … Expand

    I rate it 5 because it is a fun game but the main issue is that you cannot play it offline if there are server or provider issues. Also there are microtransations and for a game that I pay 70 Euros I do not expect this kind of scam. Make it free with microtransations and i'm fine but this way I just feel robbed.

    Im so very disappointed with GT7 as a long time player of the series. Although the game has great graphics, the core is totally broken. The single player mode has a real lack of content and the AI are terrible to race against. The multiplayer lobbys have numerous problems and the sport mode continually freezes at the results screen so no credits are awarded and your driver rating fallsIm so very disappointed with GT7 as a long time player of the series. GT Sport has a very good multi player mode (despite the penalty system) with several years of data to use for GT7 but it is absolutely ridiculous how bad GT7 multi player is. Coupled with reduced payouts for races, overpriced cars and upgrades and the high cost of microtransactions, this is the most dissapointing edition of Gran Turismo.     They actually listen to the players. Fixed alot of payouts so now it is actually possible to buy some of the more expensive cars without paying for microtransactions.

    車のコレクションを増やすためにCr.（ゲーム内クレジット）を貯めなければならず、ひたすらケーム内クレジットの金策をしなければならない状態で、製作会社のプロデューサーの山内氏が言っている事に反している！！
    難易度が高すぎるライセンス収得とミッションチャレンジ。
    子供にはかなり難しいです！！
    不具合が多すぎること・・・リアルを追求と有るがリアルではない！！
    ◆レースでのペナルティーだが、AI車には一切ペナルティがつかない。
    ◆ぶつけられた側にペナルティーが付加され、ぶつけた側にはペナルティーが付加されない事が多い・・・判定基準が不完全である。
    ◆ブルーフラッグが出ているのにAI車は、一切ラインを譲らない。
    ◆所有している車を売ることが出来ない。
    ◆ラフなドライビングをしてもSRのランクSが取れるので、オンラインレースがかなり荒れカオス状態になる。
    ◆リバリーを作成、保存時にフリーズし、時間を掛けて作成したデザインが不意になる事が多い
    　このフリーズ率は、Windows MEに匹敵する。
    ◆オンラインレースでレースがスタートできない事がが多く、その度にルームの開設しなおしが必要。
    上げれば、切りが無いほどの不具合が有ります。

    In general, I feel like the entire structure of the game is wrong, as if they suddenly made massive changes during development. NEVER BEEN SO PISSED OFF IN ALMOST 25 YEARS OF GAMING. CONGRATS, YOU GOT THE CROWN AND IT WILL BE ALL YOURS FOREVER.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
