    I'm very disappointed in the latest installment of this beloved series. I have all the previous game, and none of them full price 80€ game had such micro-transaction pressure.
    The amount of money you make in the game make it a complete plain to pay with in game credit for the most expensive car. This is NOT how micro-transaction should work. not for a free to play game, and certainly not    I'm very disappointed in the latest installment of this beloved series.     And the Solo campaigne required connection is just a spit in the face. I cannot play when your server are offline? You're wasting my time Polyphony Digital....

    You drop the ball on that one. I will change my score if you patch all this crap though

    Upgraded the rating to 7 because last patch 1.11 improve economics a lot.
    Won't go higher because we are still required to be connected for solo play which is a big downside
    Could add some cafe menu on pit stop, changing weather, endurance races, cars from other countries, circuit experience, GR1 cars, VGT cars, etc.
    I've finish the cafe menu solo play with only 80 cars... and most of them are not a million credit car. Am I supposed to mindlessly grind a billion credit to buy the 300+ remaining cars, most of them costing several millions credit?
    I would have expected a better polished game from PD instead of a game as a service with constant update.    … Expand

    I paid 80€ for a full game with microtransactions that are so obvious and so pushed, it makes Ubisoft as a generous philanthropist. I don't have a PS+ account and Yet I still need to be online to play the game. All the usual cons are still there (bad AI, not car damage, terrible external views, bad ergonomy, over flooded HUD, poorly updated car list). GT7 is a complete failure, which II paid 80€ for a full game with microtransactions that are so obvious and so pushed, it makes Ubisoft as a generous philanthropist.     Game for people that looking to play casualy with AI or in custom lobby with couple of friends. Sport mode is unplayable, penalty system is not working, even lobbys on higher level where guys have PFP S is one big mess. People are ramming into you because they will not recieve a penalty. Comparing to online mode in ACC this game is a trash

    Clearly built from the ground up to sell microtransactions (although there's nothing micro about them), shallow single player experience and always online requirement make this a disgusting representation of everything wrong with games coming out today.

    DRM needs to die. physical or digital single player game but u can't play for 24 hours because their servers go down. unacceptable. for a racing game that's so perfect at the game part, it gets a 0 score for drm. take that away and its a 9/10

Beyond this disappointment there is still no need to actually possess any particularly proficient driving skillset, I complete this game within a week just by utilising the weigh reductions tune-up with racing soft tyres, that is all it takes - together with constantly cutting up the incredibly lame NPC opponents to secure cheap wins all around. This strategy has been an exploit ever since the very first title was released and I would like to see this being balanced out. Other exploits are abound, cutting corners, driving straight over S-bend sections, with absolutely no penalty being issued at all. The only thing that they have got right is to have not gone down the rewind function, as has been seen in the Forza series. Please give the players a content sweep akin to Gran Turismo 4, and patch the exploits, then we can discuss the 'Real Driving Simulator' seriously… Expand

    Gran Turismo 4 was the pinnacle of what GT could be. It’s been downhill but overall enjoyable up until maybe 6 or sport. Now it’s terrible. Not nearly enough races and you can’t use any of the special cars in ANY races.

    Now the only flaw this game has, is the microtransactions, thats a no for me, on this type of game microtransactions shouldn't be allowed, really pathetic that GT7 has them.

    Another flaw GT7 has, is the only 1 type of multiplayer gamemode it has, you can race with other players online but, somewhere about 20 races you can get bored, it's always the same, i think it has potential for more online game modes.

    Other than all that, the game feels great, it is really a true driving simulator, hope the next game releases better than this one.    … Expand

    Updated to 7 with new patch today sorting out the in game economy. Now just sort out the always connected one player career mode and I'll bump it to 9 as game play, graphics and fun are top notch!

    Multiplayer rewards lower than the offline rewards.
    Selling cars not allowed.
    PlayStation plus subscription required for multiplayer modes.
    Collectors edition price too high and rewards too low.
    Pre-order rewards too low.
    Free2play like roulette tickets implementation.
    You need an invitation from a roulette ticket to buy high end cars.
    Short career mode.
    Low events and championship offer.
    Cars in used and legendary dealership "ramdomly" appearing.

The fact that you can’t play 90% of the game without connecting online is unfortunate however the lack of communication regarding the prolonged maintenance shutdown is pathetic. Real regrets about this game now, especially since it’s now obvious about their p2p mentality. What a shame… Expand

    Gameplay is great and would have given it a 9, but a single player game is unavailable to play because the servers are offline for two days in a row. Also it is offline because they are including a patch to give less credits for race wins pushing you towards pay-to-play. A discrase for the franchise.

    In a game where you collect cars I will never be able to afford all of the cars available. You also don't get to drive more than 8 cars on split screen for fun with your mates. You have to wait for invitations to buy certain cars, or wait for them to be one of the 4 'in stock' legendary cars, so even if you pay cold hard cash to buy credits you still can't drive whatever you want.

The game has now been nearly unplayable tor the past 36 hours, because they only allow you to play as long as their servers are live, which they have not been.     Want that lovely vintage Jag? 12 million credits. To put that into perspective, the highest paying race was recently nerfed from 92,500 credits per race to 45,000 credits. If we are to play this track over and over and over to try and obtain this Jaguar, with each race taking approximately 4-5 minutes, you’ll be spending approximately 22 IN-GAME HOURS, DOING THE SAME 5 MINUTE RACE OVER AND OVER, OR UNTIL YOUR BRAIN STARTS LEAKING FROM YOUR NOSTRILS. Or of course, forget those 22 precious hours and spend a mere £96 on 6 x 2 million credit packs costing £16 a piece. Thanks Polyphony!

    Also, what I don’t see being mentioned often is the shocking lack of content. After completing the café, which really at its core makes no sense, you’ve got missions and licenses. All in all this equates to about 20 hours of gameplay and, relative to the cost of the cars, offers very little credits. After you complete these 3 things, the only viable option you have is to play multiplayer, which is littered with idiots who think they’re playing demolition derby instead of participating in an actual race. Found a good lobby at long last? The host will end the lobby after 1 race thanks to the lack of dedicated servers, and apparently the inability to implement (a several decade-old technology) host migration.

    All in all this game has been spoiled by the sheer greed of Sony and/or Polyphony, the disgraceful lack of content and the forceful and exploitative always-online nature of the game (so you don’t, god forbid, find a way to make credits offline)    … Expand

    Greedy developers, not only for reducing the prizes payment looking to increase microtransactions, but also not giving anything to make up for being offline for almost two whole days. I have preordered the game but I regret it and will not purchase any more products from them again.

    What is going on with this game? Servers are still down after 24 hours and the game in not playable. $70+ for an online only game is ridiculous. Honestly I don't think the fans would mind this If the company would make frequent official announcements of what's going on. But there hasn't been a single word from them except for a tweet 30 hours ago stating an extended maintenance period.

    This is everything fans do not want in a racing game. Do not make a always online racing game. Do not make it impossible to earn, not buy the cars you want. Do not do a 24 hour maintenance, where no one can ever play your brand new game. This is unacceptable, for $70 premium purchase, I am dissatisfied with Sony, and polyphony, shame.

    GT7 (at 80$) is more agressive on MTX than a free cell phone game.

    I have a T300 and you can't feel the road. You feel the car, but not the road. GT5 and 6 are superior (PS3) when it comes to the wheel (T500). Also not a big fan of the sound of the cars.     When games get more open in 2020's,, GT7 decided that it would take the freedom you had from GT1 all the way to GT6 away from you. You can't plan ahead as you don't see the tree of what is coming. The game is micromanaging you.
    For a game that calls itself a "SIM",, I feel like cars all drive kind of the same like if they only built 8 "behavior patterns" and then make them slide more or brake less. It's not really good.
    I have played 30 missions and never had to buy a car, or make an upgrade. Cars are handed to you and don't even need to upgrade tires to win races. I have yet to had to re-do a race to win the race.
    To be transparent, I did skip GT Sports as it didn't have a career mode and maybe that is why I am not blinded by this new GT7 as an upgrade. I still play GT5 on a PS3 and GT6 on a PS3 and for me this GT7 I believe, will not be "IT".

    As for the "ONLINE" racing,, I couldn't care less. I don't play with others. I am old school playing "story" or career.
    On the good side,,, I bought this game as physical copy so, I am probably going to sale it soon. I don't think it has any re-playable value to me.    … Expand

    Great story mode that saves this from a 0, but Microtransactions is ruining the game for me. The story is also quite short and even tho this is my first GT game I beat it pretty easily on the hardest difficulty.

    The online stuff is one of the worst matchmaking experiences too.

    Después de la caída por más de un día para poner un parche que destruye la economía del juego, en un juego que no debería pedir conexión permanente , digo me que gaste medio millón en accesorios (volante, playseat etc) por publicidad engañosa , cambiaron un producto solo por sacar más dinero ¿Se podrá hacer demanda colectivas?     The graphics are good, gameplay is good with realistic physics and very good IA, sound is amazing and is without a doubt the best GT in terms of engine sounds... The problem is that this game requires 24/7 connection and microtransactions ruin this game. If you dont have internet conection or sony servers dont work you got a brick.

    30hrs of maintenance with game blocked and Lower rewards from some events. This is such an obligation to purchase game credit with real money. In the old gt was able to play offline, and I think it's a good thing make the same with this one.

    Siempre he sido un gran fan de los juegos de conducción y en especial de la serie Gran Turismo .     Otros puntos negativos son los gráficos , en donde no se nota evolución gráfica desde Gran Turismo 5 , así como que no hay sensación de velocidad con cualquier coche y que no es un real simulator como nos venden .

    Y por último , otro punto negativo es la conexión permanente al online , lo que hace que si se caen los servidores como hace dos dias o en el futuro pues no puedas disfrutar de tu videojuego en ninguno de sus diferentes modos .

    Puntos positivos : modo foto , en este modo si se aprecia la evolución gráfica . Modo café que es el modo historia del juego es bastante original .

    Licencias : conserva la chispa y originalidad del primer gran turismo .

Неужели такой неуклюжий и архаичный магазин? Или просто банально обнгаглевшая корпорация? Почему Xbox даёт по действующей подписке Game Pass забирать любой бесплатный контент, а Sony нет?     Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
