    Good driving, nice graphics, payouts and vehicle price is insane. As a casual gamer it will take you five years to earn every vehicle. I play once or twice a week. I’ve earned $30,000,000. GT Planet thread shows you need $426,000,000 to buy all the cars. I’ve owned it since it’s release. No light at the end of the tunnel.

    This is more of a honest review, for someone who has play a GT game before, but not a huge fan of the series.

    Pros -Game looks amazing on the PS5 - Controls are very good and responsive, and supports different control layouts and drive wheels - Did not run into any glitches/bugs - Very accessible in terms of having easy modes and assist like automatic breaking - Hardly any load    This is more of a honest review, for someone who has play a GT game before, but not a huge fan of the series.

    Pros
    -Game looks amazing on the PS5
    - Controls are very good and responsive, and supports different control layouts and drive wheels
    - Did not run into any glitches/bugs
    - Very accessible in terms of having easy modes and assist like automatic breaking
    - Hardly any load times on the PS5
    - This is a surprising aspect, but I actually like the photo/camera mode, I generally find these modes as more gimmicks are just whatever who cares, but it's actually well designed where you can take well timed photos of your races. Like a good example would be crossing the finish line.
    - Music is great, love the classical music, and the intro was smartly done
    - Always liked having to unlock cars, instead of having most readily available

    Cons
    - A few too many clicks/menu screens to get to the next race, although not a huge deal considering the PS5 has basically no load times, but this could of been condensed/designed better.
    -loooool we gonna really use stock photos for characters with no voice acting. come on now I mean I get the idea but they could of designed like actual characters that you talk to for the story mode.
    - very small complaint but very odd choice that you cannot skip the intro of the game which is several minutes long, and you have to go into settings to make it where it doesn't play each time you load the game.

    Overall, it's what I expecting, and that's what I wanted. Ignore the negative reviews as those are just stupid or they have never played a GT game before and have unrealistic ideas of what this game was supposed to be.    … Expand

    Todo lo que se espera de un gran turismo y más. Tiene mucho cariño y mimo en todos sus cojces y modos como la historia, aunque tiene ciertos aspectos que se podrían mejorar como el aspecto gráfico y alguna mejora en la cámara externa pilotando, fallos sin importancia para la gran experiencia global que te aporta como fan de la saga.

    The graphics are flawless. The racing is fun. Serious care went in to making every detail of this game as perfect as possible. It feels both modern yet nostalgic. Unfortunately the macro-transactions and engineered lack of initial content make this a 0/10 for me. The inability to enjoy the campaign without internet is unforgivable. This is a robbery of $70 ($100 in my case since I bought the 25th anniversary edition since I am a religous fan). I paid resell value for a PS5 because I wanted to play this game so bad. I genuinely feel lied to and swindled as someone who has gone out of their way to play every Gran Turismo. I have learned an expensive lesson. EDIT: the game has hardly improved from this.     Those who gave it 0 should be completely ignored. why? here are some of their reasons:
    1. Single player requires internet connection - yes that's strange but not a deal breaker
    2. Micro-transactions - until now I've progressed to about 50% of the campaign and didn't have to buy or pay any real money, and the only time I felt I have to buy a used car to win a race it was using the in-game    Those who gave it 0 should be completely ignored. why? here are some of their reasons:

    An exceptionally good game ruined by microtransactions. The AI very weird and basically all of the races are with rolling starts with cars kms apart. But the physics model is amazing.

    This game has amazing physics. There are very few bugs or frame rate issues, the game looks amazing. The dynamic weather is awesome and adds a new layer to the game.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a huge leap forward in terms of graphics, gameplay and in terms of cars and car collection. This is the game that GT fans are waiting for.

    Gran Turismo formula is back!
    PS4 players deserved a real Gran Turismo experience. Of course, the new gen version couldnt be so ahead of the old gen for obvious reasons, but it's clear that it pushes the PS4 to it's limits (and beyond) and PS5 with a good gap for the next game.
    I love Forza Motorsport series, but the big difference between both games is that Forza is pure racing, and    Gran Turismo formula is back!
    PS4 players deserved a real Gran Turismo experience. Of course, the new gen version couldnt be so ahead of the old gen for obvious reasons, but it's clear that it pushes the PS4 to it's limits (and beyond) and PS5 with a good gap for the next game.

    I love Forza Motorsport series, but the big difference between both games is that Forza is pure racing, and GT is pure automobile passion and history.

    As a car lover, I rather the second option. GT7 provides this, a game that you enjoy on and outside the track, enjoying the culture of cars and it's universe. The progression is not so easy like Forza, it's hard go get money and good cars at the start. And thats pretty good at all! You feel more connect to the game and take value in your actions and choices, making you give more importance to your garage and car list/upgrades.

    In Forza, I have cars in garage that I never drove, lots and lots of infinite money and absolutely no reason to think next moves or upgrades on cars, you can just buy a faster one and it's done.

    GT7 is not perfect, of course. The microtransactions it's a shame thing. The starter races are so easy and that classic thing of start in last place it's totaly out of reality of real racing. Imagine if all the races in the real world the last racer tooks the podium? Something would be TOTALY wrong.

    But why I gave a 10? Well, a mix of nostalgia and satisfaction of it's deep respect and depth in car culture. GT7 is a love letter to the old fans (like me, a kid from the 90's), a good welcome for the new players that love cars and a promissing game if you think of whats next to come in the next years updates.    … Expand

    El único problema que tiene este juego es que la IA es muy mejorable...aun así hay carreras especiales que mejora incluso! espero que en futuras updates eso lo mejoren, en resto el juego es amor a los coches, una pena que todas las reseñas negativas hagan alusión a malos gráficos y por eso ponerle un 0 a eso se le llama odio,

    It’s a great simulator game! If you don’t like simulator, don’t get Into it! You need to understand at least the basic of cars, otherwise you will get kinda lost!

    Gráfico fantástico, nunca vi efeitos de iluminação tão bons. Muitas pistas, muitos carros, modo campanha robusto, modo pra tirar a carteira de motorista, modo online competitivo igual ao GT Sport. Isso sim é Gran Turismo!

    A precious love letter to all car enthusiasts. This is exactly what the last three Gran Turismo games should have been. After a disappointing fifth and sixth games, and a correct but feature-lacking spin-off, this feels like a gift out of Heaven.

    Technically speaking, the game is a masterpiece. The game runs at a native 4K resolution and has a rock-solid frame rate, being really hard to    A precious love letter to all car enthusiasts. This is exactly what the last three Gran Turismo games should have been. After a disappointing fifth and sixth games, and a correct but feature-lacking spin-off, this feels like a gift out of Heaven.

    Technically speaking, the game is a masterpiece. The game runs at a native 4K resolution and has a rock-solid frame rate, being really hard to experience any drop. If RT mode is used, replays and gallery views are still rendered at 4K, though the frame rate is halved. Still, native 4K and RayTraced reflections are a tremendous achievement. Polycount-wise, the cars are more detailed than ever. Some models are based on the already stunning GT Sport cars, but unlike GT Sport, the gameplay LOD of these models is brilliant, even in full grids. The combination of materials and light is so real, you can almost touch them. Like in previous installments, the cars get more love then the scenery, however the lighting engine makes everything look gorgeous. Even though it is considered an intergenerational title, the game is more than on par with the latest Next-gen visuals, while being free from Forza Horizon's terrible popping and draw distance or the plastic-looking cars from most PC sims. Apart from car models and draw distance, the game features an amazing day-to-night cycle and dynamic weather transitions.
    Upcoming racing games are going to have a hard time trying to top Polyphony Digital's superb work.

    Gameplay-wise, the game mixes the classic Gran Turismo winning formula with interesting new additions, like the GT Cafe menu books. These menu books act like some sort of RPG quests. The game still allows you to compete-where-you-want while completing them, though the first ones act more like an 'on rails' guide while you unlock the main game features. The core mechanic of the game is the expected from GT: complete races and collect the 420+ featured vehicles. The game features a superb tuning system. From spoilers to hood clips, custom rims and an huge collection of mechanic parts, you can modify and customize everything in your ride. Heck, you can even swap engines and fine tune the headlight's light temperature. The livery editor returns, but with a higher decal limit and new options.

    The handling has also been reworked from GT Sport. For anyone who has played also some demanding racing sims, it's obvious this is a more "simcade" approach. However, when you turn off all driving assists, the game becomes more difficult but also extremely fun. You have to be carefull with oversteers, brake locking and so on.
    GT has always been friendly to gamepad players as well as wheel users, and this entry is no exception. Even better, the game makes a fantastic use of the Dualsense controller. I wasn't expecting a racing game to make such a good use of the Dualsense's capabilities, from haptics, to driving with the sixaxis, to the triggers. The haptic response is freaking awesome, it's only topped by Astro's playroom. You can almost even feel how each gear is engaged, how the car weight os transferred during hard turns... Everything.

    Moving on to sound, which was one of GT's biggest flaws in the past, the game shows huge improvements, even over those of GT Sport. Not only the engines, skids and overall car sounds are great (good riddance of the stupid vacuum cleaner jokes and the filthy lies of PS1 skid sounds being carried over), but also the game features a ton of ambient sounds and details. Stop for a while near a couple of trees and you can hear the birds chirp, the wind shaking the tree branches and helicopters and planes in the distance. Mute the music while it rains and you can hear the rain drops falling against your windshield and the wiper engine noise. Park inside a long tunnel and you can even hear a slight buzzing sound coming from an old light system. From flawed to outstanding, that's GT's sound evolution.

    There are two things I still dislike about GT's latest entry. First one is the visual damages on cars, which are very limited, like in GT Sport. The crash physics have improved but it's easy to see damage is not amont PD's improvement road yet. I don't care that much about this though, damage models for street cars in games are crap in almost every game save for BeamNG or Wreckfest.

    The second one is the AI and race duration. While some advanced events show huge AI improvements, the first half of the campaign is plagued with classic 'chase the rabbit' GT formula, something I hope gets better when Sophy's AI system is added to the game via update. I also miss much longer races and championships, as well as qualifying sessions from past GT's.

    Overall, this is a masterpiece for me. A well deserved entry for Sony's Next Gen console that I had been waiting for since almost 2011.    … Expand

    Buen juego, muchos autos , mapa muy variado, mas opciones de juego, que te mantienen enchufado , modo campaña (cafe) muy fácil pero esta enfocado al coleccionismo de coches y desbloqueo de circuitos y recompensas , Modo Chili la IA mas complicada aunque desproporsionada con respecto a velocidades en curvas y en rectas . Having to unlock everything and being forced into certain races with certain cars was annoying at times along with the time spent going through the menus. The Cafe did make collecting cars fun.

    Incredible, one of the best looking games I’ve seen and the best looking racing game on the market. The weather, ray tracing, cars and tracks all look amazing.

    **SOUND/8**

    The music is so-so and the voice acting is ok but most of the sounds of the cars are done well.

    **GAMEPLAY/9**

    The gameplay on the tracks is better than ever. The cars handling can be extremely tricky at times and the AI is better than it was in GT Sport, making for some challenging races. Tuning has been added and is a great addition. You can really feel the changes you make to the car when racing. I don’t know how I feel about forced tuning in the online races but if they have two tuning races and two BOP races then I think multiplayer will continue to be as great as GT Sport.

Les développeurs ont honoré avec classe et justesse le titre. c'est très beau, ça fonctionne, le retour aux sources façon next gen plus que réussi, les nouveautés également très sympas.     Best possible comeback of the GT series, back to the roots in a lot of ways, looks amazing graphically and the café progression system leads properly throught the GT mode. Most buy for every car game/racing sim fan.

    I normally don't enjoy racing games, but GT7 really hooks me with the presentation, stories, various modes, and the driving itself is really engaging, feels like I'm actually driving where I have to be careful on a turn, know when to break, try not to hit the other cars or be hit, it's really fun, the most fun I've had in a racing game for the last few years.     I expect frequent updates from polyphony to improve this game further with new cars and new tracks and we also got to look forward to the sophie ai engine which will added later inn the game

    Long story short, exactly what I've been waiting for. Makes me nostalgic for a simpler time like back in the day playing GT2 And GT3. Only word of warning, definitely look up cafe award cars before making a purchase! Don't hesitate to purchase this!

    The downside from what I can see is that Russian barbars have attacked Ukraine and are destroying their cities and killing civilians, therefore some of the reviews here are crying russians who give the game 0 score.

    I wish that metacritic would restrict the access for users from Russia at least until they stop their war in Ukraine and retreat. Also wish that metacritic could clean up their comments so that we would have a clean score calculated based on the reviews from the civilised world.    … Expand

    The game Gran Turismo7 is amazing, but the only issue was the third and first viewpoint Car camera system, but the game is well deserved, and we hope that an update for Kaz-San will be released.

    Here we go again. Xbot fanboys review bombing. Excellent game. Absolutely stunning visuals, and no bugs!! Glorious 4k. Gameplay and controls very tight and responsive. I'm not even a racing fan and I'm having the time of my life. A must buy for the PS5 and PS4!

    This game brings GT back to it's roots. Some people may not be patient enough and want every car given to them like Forza but this game makes you work for it. Progression is awesome in this game and makes you feel like you've earned everything you have. I believe it is a masterpiece.     A return to form for the series, very comprehensive single player campaign with a huge list of cars and track and it's great to see dynamic day night cycle make a comeback.

    A bit dissapointed with the AI it seems bareley improved over what we got in gran turismo 5 and they should really add some newer cars.

    Absolute Referenz für mich in Sachen Grafik!
    Und man bekommt hier nicht wie bei der Konkurrenz aller 2 Minuten 10 Autos die schon über 800ps haben innerhalb der ersten menüclicks.
    Hier muss man sich noch anstrengen um alles auf Gold holen zu können/wollen.

    My first ever racing sim and it’s incredible, the graphics look real and runs flawless on 4K 60 fps ray tracing settings , im now addicted to this game and the feeling to be able to drive the real way is so rewarding ..the speed and the cars are mindblowing ..I thought I’d never like a game like this but now it’s my number one this year ..I have a hidden gift for driving I thinks :)

    Ignore the zeroes. GT is back and as good as ever. The only issue I have is after all these years and multiple titles in the franchise, they still insist on rolling starts which is fine but when you unlock missions catching the lead car can be frustrating. They get a good 1/5th of a lap lead in some cases. Other than that it's a solid 9 out of 10.

    This is the Gran turismo game that the fans of the franchise we were waiting. Basically they picked the sport mode from the past game and then they put together with the classic Gt mode. The physics of the game has been improved. Now the cars feels more responsive. Graphically looks very good. Finally the decision of buying it is up to you.

    I am very excited about GT7. The graphics are really very nice. The sound is fantastic via the "Sony Puls3D" and the haptic feedback of the DualSense really gives you a mega feeling. Forza Horizon 5 is cornered by GT7. The only thing I don't like is that you are forced to "collect cars" in the garage and cannot sell or delete individual items. Nevertheless, GT7 is a mega game.

    On of the best driving simulators this day. Really reminds me of the good old days of GT1.
    The licences are really fun to get them all to gold. I´ve been grinding the SP for a few days now and the feeling of the car and the road is really good and realistic. The sound and lighting and weather systems really add a new dimension to the game. 4K 60 so the visuals look really good.

    A wonderous mixture of fun, addictive (just one more race) gameplay, nostalgia and gorgeous visuals. This is one classy product, not some testerone soaked drive angry arcade game, this is refined, made by people who's love of cars is utterly infectious. Sad that people feel the need to use this site as a platform to weaponise games and reviewbomb on here, just enjoy games and grow up.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]
