    One of the best Gran Turismo games in a long time. Just look at the actual reviews, don’t look at user reviews. The majority of these guys are Xbox fanboys than organize review bombs on Discord for any games they can’t play. Metacritic is embarrassing.

    A true marvel for my eyes and hands to play this on a PS5. Officially the 1st racing game that has me eyeballing a wheel to dig into sim driving even further then just the casual fun weekend of couch speeding. Amazing experience! Their are MT’s but I’ll be ignoring those and it’s easy to enjoy playing and unlocking only what I really care about.

    Right so I don’t usually do reviews, but it’s quite clear that this game is being review bombed by people salty about the always online nature of the game. (I mean, who on earth is gaming offline these days really?)

    Gameplay is absolutely superb, it’s repetitive in the sense of you’re essentially doing the same event on a different track with a different car, but each car feels different enough to where you never really feel bored.
    It has a great sense of progression too, starting you off with the slower, more boring cars & allowing you to work your way up into the more powerful cars at a steady pace, which is much better than just throwing HyperCars at you like forza does, here, you always have something to work towards.
    Graphics & sounds design is also flawless, the relentless screaming of a turbo charged RB26 tearing up tarmac & 150mph feels, looks & sounds outstanding, I’d argue outside of asseto corsa mods on pc, this is the best sounding racing game you can play.
    So then, the only drawback would be the microtransactions.. which really aren’t a huge deal, yeah you can just splash out to unlock the ability to buy whatever car you want whenever you want, but it never becomes pay to win, because a lot of the events online & offline are locked by things such as; cars power, region, drivetrain etc.
    All in all, this is the best gran turismo since 4, and it excels it in a lot of ways, if you’re a car enthusiast & don’t just play racing games to go fast with no knowledge, this is the perfect racing game. This is a true car enthusiasts game.    … Expand

    Micro transactions are ruining my favorite game. I don’t have time to grind what it takes to drive these awesome cars. Nerfing the payouts was a bad move. Sad. I also have to say, this is the best driving experience there is right now. Awesome game, just needs more of the rare cars to be accessible.

    Great game. Haven’t played since GT4 and I really liked this one. Great soundtrack, great graphics and photo mode. The cafe brings you some challenges in order to unlock some cars and the customisation is pretty neat

    Gran Turismo 7 is a wonderful celebration of 25 years as the premier racing franchise. It's a triumphant return to Polyphony. Much more than just a racing game.

    Honestly after going to forza after the release of gt sport.. im going back to gran turismo… this is honestly one one of the best gt’s since gt2 and gt4. All the stuff we wanted since the previous titles they actually delivered adg gave us what we wanted.. The graphics are effing amazing. Might sell my xbox now lol

    If you see the game the same as the losers on here that give it zero, that's what you'll get. The game is a long journey that educates you on the motoring world, teaching you every aspect, then leaves you competing online in league competition that never ends. Most of the nay sayers don't get past the first two hours. B.U.Y.

    All of these negative reviews for the always online and microtransactions. I'll agree the always online does suck but as far microtransactions are concerned, it's obvious who hasn't been a GT fan since the beginning. The microtransaction (buying credits) has absolutely no effect on the game. Gran Turismo has always been about grinding from the bottom, starting out with races that don't pay out much and working your way up to the big leagues. The mtx is honestly superfluous because GT7 hands out cars like candy on halloween. Two cars for golding each license group, 3 cars for winning 3 different menu book races (on each menu book; there are over 30 books), a car for each championship, and cars from extra lottery tickets which are solely earned through gameplay. The credit grind is the EXACT same with or without that MTX and it solely exists for people to skip some grind, thus defeating the entire spirit of singleplayer GT. The game is a nostalgic nod to GTs of old while also having a modern identity. The graphics are wonderful, I do think there was room for improvement and unfortunately it was decided to dumb the game down a bit for cross generation but overall very aesthetically pleasing. The driving is very fluid in most cars and it's extremely satisfying to pull off a series of complicated turns smoothly. Now for the mediocre and bad. The grind to unlock arcade races, split screen, and multiplayer is very offputting for casual playing. It's not long per se but it shouldn't exist. The option to jump in to arcade from a pre baked car list needs to exist. The menus are somewhat convoluted and require WAY too many button presses to reach each feature. The AI is still pretty terrible, even on the hardest setting. I sincerely hope sophy has different options to bridge the gap between current AI and the "faster than human drivers" that Polyphony claims sophy is capable of. Something feels off with RWD cars, especially on banked turns. I race on a wheel setup and it feels a little too easy to kick out the rear, even easier than Project Cars 2 which was notorious for how slippery the rears were. It's something I've managed to adjust my driving style to compensate for but sometimes it feels like the rear wheels are on wet pavement during a dry race. The absolute worst thing about GT7 is big but minor at the same time. Rally physics are TERRIBLE. The purpose built rally cars can not handle small jumps in GT7 in any way shape or form. It's as if a dice roll is being done to determine if you land smoothly or bounce like a bouncy ball and careen off in to a wall. This surely has to be a bug because the suspension damping appears to be nonexistent. Landing smoothly requires a borderline pixel perfect line off the jump, something that I feel would be next to impossible to do reliably on a controller. Overall GT7 is a very good modernization of the Gran Turismo franchise though has room to be improved. If I could rate it an 8.5 I would but a 9 will have to do. It's not perfect but comparing it to the PS2 era GTs puts it at a solid 9 if GT3 and GT4 were 10s.… Expand

    A great 'just one more go experience', with the excellent car handling we've come to expect from the Series.

    It would have been nice to have a version on PS5 freed from the shackles of cross gen, but nonetheless enhancements such as haptic feedback and better visuals really do lift the game.

    Los que se quejan en esta página son Fanboys de xbox o en su vida han tocado un gran turismo.
    Y no es pay to win. Todo lo puedes desbloquear jugando con créditos del juego. Lo que pasa es que en estos días a la gente le da pereza jugar y el juego apela a esa gente ofreciendo la oportunidad de comprar los carros que quieras.

    It really seems suspicious that Polyphony changed race payouts after all the big reviews happened.

    Getting small change for races feels very annoying if you try to grind for a very expensive car. Also FOMO is a big part of the game with special invites to buy expensive cars that run out after a given amount of time.     this is one of the best if not the best racing games on the market, it's a game made for fans of cars, it seems like the devs themselves like car's racing, the game even teachs you about the history of cars.

    another stronge point is the realistic draving and the great graphics

    Driving experience is great, graphics on the cars the best there is, track graphics acceptable. Game economy rocky to start with to say the least, but at least they seem to be listening. 1.11 has been and improvement and hopefully more to come. Overall despite still not being perfect it is a great racing game.

    Absolutely fantastic game, I absolutely love it, from the cars to the licences and the menus its all great in my opinion, the music is also great, actually forgot how much I enjoy gran turismo as I have been playing Forza on the Xbox for years as gran turismo doesn’t come round very often, have to say this is without doubt the best racing game I’ve played on in a long long time, pleaseAbsolutely fantastic game, I absolutely love it, from the cars to the licences and the menus its all great in my opinion, the music is also great, actually forgot how much I enjoy gran turismo as I have been playing Forza on the Xbox for years as gran turismo doesn’t come round very often, have to say this is without doubt the best racing game I’ve played on in a long long time, please ignore all the negative comments as most of the are from Russians, as the dev’s has pulled the game from Russia, due to Russia’s unprovoked attack on Ukraine, although I’m not sure what it has to do with Russian gamers, however they better get used to it as Sony are planning to stop trading with Russia altogether until the conflict is resolved one way or another, anyway yeah gran turismo 7 is great and I’d highly recommend it if your a fan of the series, or even someone new to the series you could still seriously enjoy it especially if your a car fan.… Expand

    Tengo platinado GTsport y llevo ya bastantes horas de GT7 y es una carta de amor hacia el autimilismo, superó en todos los aspectos a GTsport. Se ve increíble y las licencias son una delicia, el multiplayer es muy parecido a GTsport.

    30 hours of downtime, some of us have very tight schedule. This is not professionalism and no compensation given at all. On top of that they nerf the credits acquisition from the most profitable races so we are pushed to buy their microtransaction **** I will give 5 stars if they make it offline friendly and if they remove microtransactions.
    Im out of this game until then.

    En unas cosas se ve bien, en tros aspectos no mejora y tros titulos lo aplastan, como el Forza Horizon 5 que en muchas cosas lo destroza, no veo ningun techo tecnico, la verdad se nos ha vendido bastante humo... como el humo o neblina volumetrica del Horizon Forbidden West, una decepción... y las microtransacciones es de risa pura y dura, abusivos¡¡¡

    Lo han intentado, pero les falto.

    Gave it a 0 at first for their MTX stuff but after they fixed it it’s 100% better. Thank you PD for listening to your fans, don’t do this ever again. On the other hand, the game itself is fantastic honestly, I can’t stop playing it, true definition of addiction.

    It's a good game, it's solid and it's fun. The problem is they made the whole game about collecting cars, made the only way to collect cars buying them and made making money way too slow. That and the online only **** is a really bad idea.

    PD has made great strides to address what its' fanbase was critical of at launch. The in-game economy feels much much better - still can't wait to be able to sell cars! The addition of endurance races was also very welcome. The game looks beautiful. The gameplay feels more nuanced than GT Sport, and with tuning options there are never-ending ways to play the game.     cars are too much expensive. If you want some good cars, you should pay more and more.
    Just a few cars can be over the price of the GT7 itself.
    And the maker is lying, they say they don't want to do repetitive work just to get cars but they reduced the credit you earn. They just want you to buy cars and pay more.

    The game itself it's a love letter to car lovers. Each car feels like it has a story mode on its own thanks to the GT Cafe mode. The cars are the protagonists of a racing game and Polyphony knows that, the 3D models are extremely detailed, the sounds are very good and the physics are the best in the franchise. The online mode grows from the very solid foundation that GT Sport settled.

The weather in this game is arguably one of the best all time implementations in a game. And there is literally a mountain of content here. And it has infinite replay value with the multiplayer mode, which is essentially getting Gt Sport for free. Kazanori Yamauchi is clearly the most inspired he has been since his days as a young 25 year old programmer whose vision for racing games would change the gaming industry and revive interest in certain parts of car culture.     Amazing! Really fun, this is an RPG but with cars, the progression is awesome and you really enjoy earning new cars. This an awesome driving simulator and a really really great driving game.

    Completely amazing game but I think it keep some old gen aspects graphically. Sony needs to burty the ps4 definitely and makes your engine competitive with UE5 for exemple. By the way, where is the SUV category? C’mon Sony! The SUVs are the most selling category by now. The controller dualsense is amazing to driving! And UX HUD team needs to understand the less is more.

    This game takes me back to when I played the first version. The game is much better than the previous versions. The variety of cars is great. The personalization of this game is great. I can only say that this game is the best driving simulator.

Tras 17 horas de juego (siguiendo la "historia" sin farmear nada ni repetir eventos) he logrado conseguir cerca de 570.000cr. es infrahumano teniendo en cuenta los altos precios de algunos coches y la cantidad de los mismos que hay.     Best car racing game. Beautiful graphics, amazing gameplay and sounds. Lots of tracks and cars. Brilliant game. I can only recommend.
    I'm sorry the Russians can't play with it and therefore get more negative reviews. I don't think the Russian people should be deprived of that. They can't do anything. I hope there will be peace soon and they can experience this wonderful game too.

    The game is amazing, awesome graphics, great gameplay and a massive improvement to GT Sport. Ignore the haters this game is Masterfully Done. The only downside is you have to be online to play the game properly.

    Another masterpiece by Playstation studios, this time Polyphony Digital, they have raised the bar when it comes to customization and single player career mode in racing games not to mention the amazing multiplayer brought from GT Sport and my gawd the graphics are gorgeous. Best car models ever!!!!

    Technically there are no downsides to the game. Lighting effects, weather effects, car physics, it's all pretty impressive. really enjoying this game.

    After many hours of play... It has definitely exceeded my expectations, it's a very good game. It's like going back to your childhood to play Gran Turismo 4 in the afternoon.
    It is a video game made with a lot of love and for fans of the motor world in general

The game is perfect, and as PD has stated, it is to prevent tampering with the game file. A lot of complaints also seem to be complaints of boring career mode or lack of cars and tracks. This is going to change with updates.     Its an evolution, not a revolution from GT Sports but its a great game on its own rights. Micro transactions dont really get in the way of gameplay. All new AAA games are way too expensive but if you wait you can catch it on sale for real VFM

    Another Amazing addition to the franchise, stunning graphics for a console, very good physics that the Gran Turismo franchise is known for, sure it doesn't have the absurd amount of cars right out of the game like some other racing games, but Polyphony Digital takes their time to ensure the vehicles are as true to life as humanly possible, and it shows, and they managed to turn out anAnother Amazing addition to the franchise, stunning graphics for a console, very good physics that the Gran Turismo franchise is known for, sure it doesn't have the absurd amount of cars right out of the game like some other racing games, but Polyphony Digital takes their time to ensure the vehicles are as true to life as humanly possible, and it shows, and they managed to turn out an impressive 424 cars which isn't terrible by any means, with cars and tracks coming in hot each month, its surly going to continue to be another great title in the long history of the Gran Turismo franchise.… Expand

The cars handle really well too - at its' core, it has everything a really decent driving sim needs.

    Add to that very limited free play options - you can't design your own races or just pick from the selection of cars and... well, race. In a racing game. And then add to that an always online requirement for single player and hideous microtransactions that inevitably lead the game design to feature hefty grind mechanics and... well, you have a ball that has been well and truly dropped here.

    This should have been great. It isn't. And that's a crying shame. As said, the racing itself is fine - good even - but there's many more games, even within the GT series itself, which does it just as good, if not better, without having to deal with the maddening nonsense that surrounds it in GT7.

    Update: with the update promise I am updating my rating. If pd delivers these promises I will increase the score further more. Content update was the most crucial one.

    Looks like pd is listening !
    My biggest regret. I cannot be more disappointed. Microtransactions, limited menu career content. Stay away!!

    After the 25th March update, including the generous 1m credit pack for everyone, happy to give this game a 10. Just like the GT experience we all know and love, only with next gen graphics and an even more refined driving experience.

    Dropping one point for the fact that it's always online and another for the live service nonsense, but otherwise the game is absolutely perfect. Easily one of the best GTs. Although I'm bummed about the transition to the live service model, I'm sure Polyphony will continue to improve the game by adding much needed features like selling cars, higher payout events, etc.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
