    This is an incredible game. It got off to a rough start, but they listened to their customers, and in my opinion, they got things straightened out. It’s the best racing sim that I’ve ever played and I’m confident that it’ll continue to get even better with future updates.

    Don't be fooled by the haters, this game is excellent top to bottom. While there is no 'uber' neural networked AI to smash you yet, the AI itself is vastly improved and cars are constantly trying to overtake - however since its GT and you can tune your cars to be so much more powerful a lot of races can be made very unfair in your favour :)

    The weather effects and new physics model is    Don't be fooled by the haters, this game is excellent top to bottom. While there is no 'uber' neural networked AI to smash you yet, the AI itself is vastly improved and cars are constantly trying to overtake - however since its GT and you can tune your cars to be so much more powerful a lot of races can be made very unfair in your favour :)

    The weather effects and new physics model is just outstanding from a hardcore simulation sense driving this game with all the assists turned off is very close, and in some ways better than the best hardcore sims out there - this is not a joke, nor a exaggeration, when this comes to PC (please please please), this will be very much welcomed by those fans.

    Graphically, its a dream and due to its immaculate interior and exterior detail really can give you just a little slice of that feeling you get from actual car ownership.

    Amazing work, how do they do it. A labour of love that's for sure.    … Expand

    This game is absolutely exquisite. People saying that it's anything other than amazing our fooling themselves. The game isn't for everyone but it is left open for a much wider range of players. I had to give this a 10 out of 10 because of the amount of stupid reviews that are present here. Anything under a seven is just shenanigans. Fanboys need to stop being so childish!

    I think it's the best release yet. Alot of people in the GT7 Facebook group and in these reviews are so fixated on the microtransactions and always online aspect, but nobody is forcing you to buy credits, the in game economy (pricing and rewards) is much the same as it has always been and we connect most of our devices to "Always online" connections. I think players these days will findI think it's the best release yet.     A pesar de que muchas personas esten en desacuerdo con este juego y den calificaciones tan malas yo llevo algunos dias jugando y me parece increible.
    Lo unico que no me gusta es el hecho de no poder vender los autos adquiridos que no queremos.

    Amazing graphics, gameplay, sound, etc. Even with the recent “scandal” of the patch 1.07, by forcing MTX, Polyphony recognized they did wrong, by giving us a million credits and by introducing in early April a better reward system, more events, and more cars. Not every developer has the humility to recognise they did some things wrong, and that needs to be praised!     I am a long time GT Fan and this is one of the best Racing games in have Played. Sorry Forza H5, someone just took over your spot. The Racing is Brilliant, it is Hard to master but accessible for anyone. The Haptics and Triggers are amazing and wouldn't play it without them. The Textures and Models of the cars are some of the best i have ever seen, you can barely tell the difference fromI am a long time GT Fan and this is one of the best Racing games in have Played. The Textures and Models of the cars are some of the best i have ever seen, you can barely tell the difference from real sometimes. the tracks are nicely detailed and a major step up from GTSport. The inclusion of Dynamic Weather, Time and Stars is a great Addition and add to the experience.

    The Cafe Menus, the main part of the game is something different and is a good experience. Gaining so many cars with minimal work is great while getting up to 6 Million Credits for more cars.

    The Tuning makes a return and is better than ever. The Added Customisation is great too, adding various bumpers and wings adds that "your own Car" feel. The Updated Livery Editor is way better than GTSport and i love that i could import mine from there.

    The Music Rally is definitely weird, but gives me Ridge Racer vibes trying to beat the time. The Arcade mode is just an Arcade mode, and that is all it needs to be. the Custom Races are better than GTSport for sure thanks to the Weather and Day settings.

    The Pre-made races and Championships are fine, considering you will be playing these more than other modes.

    Licenses and Missions return and well, they are difficult, but if you can try and push past that and keep trying, they add to the GT7 experience.

    The Car list is better than GT Sport with new additions. There 3 ways to buy them (Used, Brand central and Legend Cars) and 3 ways to Earn them for free (Cafe Menus, Licenses and Daily Workouts). Legend Car dealer is for your more rare cars that can have a hefty price tag, the most expensive being 18.5 Million with others low as 100K. the Daily Workouts return and now include Tuning Parts, Credits and Cars. there is 6 tiers with the top tier giving you Cars worth 3 Million Credits, and credits in the Millions. the lowest Tier gets you 5K Credits as the lowest payout

    Now for MTX... they are only there to top up your Credits. 100% optional and not needed at all unless you are someone who has a gambling problem. This comes to Progression... It is fine for what it is. you can get 500K Credits in 1 hour, so to get the rarest most expensive car will take you about 37 Hours Racing time. You might see others Complain about the times... but each one is wrong with their Estimates say it will take you 4 Days playing time or more... when in reality less than 2 days...    … Expand

    After some recent updates have really improved on the credit front as well as some more races. Hopefully future updates will make this 100% better than it was.

    It’s the best GT game in the series and a must buy if your a car enthusiast. There’s so much to do and with more content to be added via updates, the King is Back.

    Its a great game overall, they pretty much fixed the whole economi in the game, i think they were testing us, now it feels great and rewarding, tuning feels nice, big stepup in the physics from sport and it feels great on logitech g29, kinda short, but still beautifull and TOMS of informations about cars.

    The online only thing is a bit drag, and to be honest it is the only reason I'm not giving it a 10. The server downtime when 1.07 was released was a kick in the teeth, but it was working flawlessly for me prior and since.

    With regards to the micro transactions, while they are there, they are not presented in an invasive way (like your pointer doesn't default to click on it or anything) and although I don't like "pay to win"platforms, the easiest way around it (and to send the message) is to not support it.

    The in game grind isn't such a big issue, even since patch 1.08. I have mainly been sticking to the Trial Mountain Cup which is roughly 10 minutes, four laps of Trial Mountain and an easy win as there is no PP limit. Provided you race cleanly, you'll walk away with $100K every 10 minutes or so.

    Online seems to be great fun also, but there are some shocking drivers out there!

    Anyway, I really enjoy it and I think most others would also if they look past all the needless raging.    … Expand

    I’ve been playing Gran Turismo since the first one came 25 years ago, and I love the series. My interest in cars owe a lot to Gran Turismo. GT7 has a lot of good in it, but also a lot of things that needs to be fixed, like the rolling starts, lack of content, and cars made after 2017.

    The main issue however, is that I will never be able to actually own and race the cars that I want to. I have 1-2 hours a day to play GT, and to be able to afford e.g. the Mclaren F1, I would need to grind the same race over and over for 3 weeks after they nerfed the already low credits output. BUT the car is only available for a few days in the time limited legendary shop, so by the time I have enough credits, the car is unavailable again. So – how I am going to be able to drive the Mclaren F1 in the game I paid 80 bucks for? Microtransactions! 200 bucks of them! And that’s only 1 car. I would have to keep feeding them hundreds of dollars in microtransactions to actually play with the cars I want.

    There’s a lot of cars that I just want to buy so that I can tune them, make liveries, and photograph them in the scapes mode. But because of the insane grind to gain credits, I am reluctant to use the credits I actually do have. Even for cheap cars that I just want to fk around with. I can’t afford do that, as the in-game currency is too scarce to use them just for photo mode and making liveries.

    Make no mistake, I want the most expensive cars to be something you have to grind and work for. It’s just that the level of grind is too extreme, to the point that mtx is the only realistic way to obtain them. The broken economy in the game makes it really difficult to enjoy it, even though the driving itself feels good.

    Apart from that, there are many xbox fake accounts downvoting this for obvious reasons. Don't believe the overall scores. Just try this    This game is amazing. Best GT ever. But it is still incomplete and waiting updates and for now its hard to get money and cars, thats why some impatient people are crying.

    Been a fan since GT1. GT Sport and its multiplayer focus pushed me away, but GT7 pulled me right back in with the focus on single player. I feel like i'm playing a better version of GT3 and i love it.

    I really enjoyed the game. The bugs and championships with fairly low rewards don't bother me to the point of being angry, I just have to spend a lot more time.

    The core game is absolutely amazing. While the always online and mtx implementation are questionable. There's so much to enjoy and earn without spending a single cent on mtx. People are exaggerating once again.

    I'm liking this game a lot. I'm not super glad about the micro-transaction policies, but am not planning on spending on credits anyway.

    However, GT 7 is incredible. The graphics are superb and the racing is absolutely brilliant and the most fun I’ve had on a racing sim for years. The attention to detail on the cars, reflections and circuits is astonishing.
    Now, a quick jump back to the original GT on the PS1. I remember spending literally DAYS grinding the game to save enough credits to buy certain cars. That’s the enjoyment of the game, or any game isn’t it? I want to race on a racing game, that’s kind of why I bought it? It’s no secret that all developers are using micro transactions in all types of games! Even a pre-order is a micro transaction dangling the carrot in front of people to pay a bit more to get a little extra. I’ve been playing GT 7 for over a week and have felt no need whatsoever to even consider buying credits for real money. The fact they are there does not annoy me in the slightest. The fact I can literally get every car in the game by playing the actual game is what I thought people realised when purchasing. For anyone really complaining just think about it, race cars, win races and grind for the credits. Don’t be upset because you can’t be bothered to grind and want to fast track but can’t because you don’t agree with the cost of micro transactions. The game is truly awesome for anyone reading these reviews. Ignore the majorly critical reviews or take it with a pinch of salt. ✌    … Expand

    This game was besieged with haters rating the game low because THEY didn't get everything THEY wanted in the game! I LOVE the game myself. Improvements are being made; bugs are being fixed and new content is being added. Plus Kaz reached out and explained to everyone what happened.

Son cómicos esos haters que no tienen juegos para jugar y vienen a calificar con 0, es un juegazo, mucha gente dice que si las colisiones, que si el daño a los carros, que si blah, blah, no son carritos chocones, es un simulador de conducción y este juego es de lo mejor que hay en este momento en el mercado y gráficamente es precioso.

    It was great - real cars, I didn't have a ps2 since I didn't work then and there wasn't much talk about it in Russia - and only    Hello Sony and Polyphony Digital and KAZ
    I'm from Moscow I got acquainted with your work in the distant 99-00 playing GT2 with a friend on two discs on PlayStation one (we didn't even know in Russia at that time that everything was pirated, we were ten years old)!
    It was great - real cars, I didn't have a ps2 since I didn't work then and there wasn't much talk about it in Russia - and only at the demo booth I was able to play gt4,
    For the sake of your game, I saved up and bought a ps3 and gt5-I played on an analog TV almost every day (amg school, Vettel Suzuka, Northern Loop and a lot of cars and stuff and stuff) and then gt6 -Senna-moon-stars sky, academy GT in silverstone!
    Later I bought a PS4 and GT sport-photo realism and super lighting seemed incredible at first!
    And so I wait and buy g29 and playseat and buy GT 7!!!
    Download, launch and after 4 hours you take away my game (which I bought and played) and for a week now I've been looking at the lock on the icon and how the game goes on YouTube!

    Easily the best in the series. I'm very impressed with the new AI who will put up a real fight through corners on the harder difficulty now. Improved physics although still on the SImcade side but getting closer to PC sims :) Absolutely stunning graphics especially with the dynamic time and weather systems which were sadly missing in GTSport. There was always grinding Gran Turismo and the ppl complaining about buying cars with real money, guess what u can play the game fine without spending a dime, u just got to work for it. Go play Forza or another arcade racer if u want it to be easy and less grindy

Gran Turismo 7 is getting better every day after the complaints made, many unfair and heavy but some really necessary and important so that the game doesn't become boring and tiring. Now all that's left is to remove the "always online" to make it perfect. But I will give the development team a 10 as an incentive, as I believe they are not primarily responsible for the forced and clumsy attempt to force microtransactions out of reality.… Expand

    Amazing racing simulator that’s great for both newbies and veterans. It’s got a real nice atmosphere so you’re pretty much chilling in between the exciting races. The car customisation is also easy to use with lots of features. The graphic options are the same. It was tricky to figure out how to get my photos out of the game. Nowhere did it say that you could use the website!

    We moaned, they listened, great game with plenty of tracks and cars to drive, this is the driving game i spend most my time on as there's plenty to keep you busy , even if it's just beating all your friends lap times

    This would have been an easy 10/10 if there is no online always bs in place. I really hope Polyphony Digital take this and modify game not to always be online.

    One of the best PlayStation 5 games so far and definitely a MUST to have tried at least once.
    Brings back the nostalgia of the older parts and is really fun.
    The staging of the "story" can be quite dry and tiring, but the side activities are incredibly fun and challenging, as you would expect from a real driving simulator.

    so its a review bombing, not actual complaints, because the game plays great and looks great, the downside is always online, but that's been a thing for most games for some time now, the game is solid, and will get better with time, just have to stick it out, and not complain like a bunch of whiny baby's.

    This is hands down the best GT ever, and the best driving sim that I have played. The main point of this game is racing, both off line and on line. Driving Nordschleife with Gr 3 cars or formulas to beat your own best lap time, or competing against other enthusiasts. It seems that a lot people a giving a critique about microtransactions, but you do not need them to progress and enjoy the game.

They aren't broken to the point where it's un drivable, but with hours of tuning you can kind of get the car to behave. MR cars in general are the worst examples of this, along with and 4wd or rwd car without downforce a banked track (high speed ring is a goodThe credit increases to the game have helped.     Visually stunning on a PS5. Fan since GT1. Plenty of content to get the wheels rolling. Controller Haptics are nice if you don’t have a wheel but the DD Pro is worth purchasing for a sim like experience. Plenty of future updates coming just like GT Sport in that regard so review bombing this game is childish and these kids needs to grow up.

The graphics are beautiful and the weather/time-of-day effects are among the best in the business.     I don't feel there is a huge leap in graphics compared to GT Sports. The interface feels dated by modern standards. The car list doesn't have any newer european models at all.

    Great driving physics.
    License tests and missions are challenging and fun for the most part.
    Multiplayer is fun, but tuning exploits needs fixing.
    Looks great.
    It's just a joy to play.

    Cons:
    Campaign too short, feels unfinished.
    Always online.
    BoP is exploitable in online races, so they took it out for now. Should've been fixed before release.

    The game is absolutely fantastic. I am new to GT series.. use to play GT in PS2 era and now I came back to play it again.. and this is one of the best racing game I have ever played. The driving seems like real driving. No doubt why it's called the best Racing Simulator. Though there are minor hiccups but that's not going to take away any rating point from my side. Will give it a 10. A solid 10

    A game i have thus far thoroughly enjoyed and will sink many, many hours into.

    I just not buy in-game credits. I have no ploblem with the system.
    The game is, as same as all previous GT games, pro-legacy autos, pro-ICE cars, and pro-Japanese cars, but not big problems to me.

O modo offline ficou excelente, vc joga horas sem enjoar e é rico em histórias automobilísticas. A simulação do jogo é muito boa também, a IA do jogo também é boa, bem melhor do que a média dos jogos da mesma categoria inclusive tenta teO jogo ficou excelente, recuperou quase todas as características dos Gran Turismo 1 e 2 do PS1, mas agora com gráficos e jogabilidade de nova geração. O modo offline ficou excelente, vc joga horas sem enjoar e é rico em histórias automobilísticas. A simulação do jogo é muito boa também, a IA do jogo também é boa, bem melhor do que a média dos jogos da mesma categoria inclusive tenta te fechar e fechar outros carros na disputa por posições. O jogo também tem uma ampla variedade de carros de diversas categorias. O único lado negativo que notei é que não é possíve é vender carros usados (pelo menos até a parte que estou no jogo, lembrando que já tenho quase 30h de gameplay).     Now that the game economy is fixed we cqn really enjoy the game. Still a lot of margin for improvement, as most of the games these days anyway, it will get better at each update. We need major upadtes on the cars available, most of them are still the same since years. It should bring back a lot of tracks of the past in addition to new ones. Bring finally back PIKE's Peak !!!!

    Great game. Was a few issues initially but most ironed out. This game got lots of criticising at the start but I honestly feel the developers have done a great job. Especially like scrapes aspect of it which looks incredibly on the PS5 especially.

Everything about this game is otherwise fantastic. I have not had this much fun in years. The physics of the cars and graphical details alone are simply astounding. The single player provides endless hours of racing exhilaration. The multiplayer will also continue to provide even more hours of fun for the bright future of this game. There is just so much to do and discover in this game. You can tell that the developers have an appreciation for cars and their history.… Expand

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
