    Ok, firstly after reading a lot of these so called “feedbacks” it’s clear there a lot of Forza players in disguise. I remember when the original Gran Turismo launched on the old faithful PS1. It was incredible. With car models never seen before in a game, or at least a fist to me.
    Each release has improved immensely over the years, with the exception of GT Sport which I agree felt a little    Ok, firstly after reading a lot of these so called “feedbacks” it’s clear there a lot of Forza players in disguise.     Each release has improved immensely over the years, with the exception of GT Sport which I agree felt a little empty with content.
    However, GT 7 is incredible. The graphics are superb and the racing is absolutely brilliant and the most fun I’ve had on a racing sim for years. The attention to detail on the cars, reflections and circuits is astonishing.
    Now, a quick jump back to the original GT on the PS1. I remember spending literally DAYS grinding the game to save enough credits to buy certain cars. That’s the enjoyment of the game, or any game isn’t it? I want to race on a racing game, that’s kind of why I bought it? It’s no secret that all developers are using micro transactions in all types of games! Even a pre-order is a micro transaction dangling the carrot in front of people to pay a bit more to get a little extra. I’ve been playing GT 7 for over a week and have felt no need whatsoever to even consider buying credits for real money. The fact they are there does not annoy me in the slightest. The fact I can literally get every car in the game by playing the actual game is what I thought people realised when purchasing. For anyone really complaining just think about it, race cars, win races and grind for the credits. Don’t be upset because you can’t be bothered to grind and want to fast track but can’t because you don’t agree with the cost of micro transactions. The game is truly awesome for anyone reading these reviews. Ignore the majorly critical reviews or take it with a pinch of salt. ✌    … Expand

    What a dissapointment this game is. We had to wait 9 years for a proper gt game with single player campaign. And lets have a look what we got in return for being a fan an supporter of the gt games. 1st single player campaign need a online connection, and for what reason? So we got a bull**** story of they need to protect the safe files from cheaters. Now surely it is not rocket sience toWhat a dissapointment this game is.     2nd, after a game breaking update 1.07 we all could not play the game, not even the single player content. To make matters even worst is that this update is to cut the race credits rewards for winning a race.

    3rd, when review copies was given to the critics for review, those nasty micro transactions was hidden, got some good reviews and then boom, in is the micro transactions. so basically they are trying to force us to buy cars with real money. Who will be so crazy to buy 1 car for $40???

    Being a loyal supporter of sony and polophony digital, right from the beginning when gt 1 was on ps1, it looks like its time to move on. The one thing that sony allways had over xbox is exclusives, now they are starting to mess up their exclusives. We....... the loyal fans of Sony sould not stand for this nonsens, This game is a greedy cash grab. Xbox is making all the right moves, sony all the wrong ones. I got this game on ps4, and was 100% sure to get a ps5. Sony get your act together and soon, other wise it will be off to the xbox side for me, and hopefully many other sony fans.    … Expand

    Micro transactions make it too grindy for credits. They went as far as to nerf the races that you could actually get credits on.

    Mandatory online connection for the single-player campaign means they can royally **** over the game and your access to it whenever they damn well please. And it gets way, way worse when you peel back the layers and discover just how much they've rigged this game to push microtransactions. But that online requirement means THEY decide how and when you can play the game, not you.

    The game was ok when launched, but the "always online" system is a joke. Then we received a poorly tested update which resulted in being unable to play the game for 32 hours. The developers should be hanging their heads in shame. Then it was patched with credits for winning races slashed. $40 to buy one car.     graphics are almost no different from gt sport, UI looks like im playing mobile game. the fact that I have to spend about 20 hours just repetitive riding the same track for 1! cars.     Gran Turismo 7 really doesn't deserve a 0/10 but this is more for Sony to take notice what their greed has done to a loyal fan base. This game has a good experience when it comes to driving each car and visually its incredible the amount of detail they've presented on them. The biggest killer is the lack of respect for people's time and intelligence, there is an ridiculous amount of grindGran Turismo 7 really doesn't deserve a 0/10 but this is more for Sony to take notice what their greed has done to a loyal fan base. This game has a good experience when it comes to driving each car and visually its incredible the amount of detail they've presented on them. Cars can't be sold, there's no grid start for the majority of races, the single player campaign is lacking and they included a rigged roulette reward that locks engine swaps behind it.     The online only thing is a bit drag, and to be honest it is the only reason I'm not giving it a 10. The server downtime when 1.07 was released was a kick in the teeth, but it was working flawlessly for me prior and since.

    With regards to the micro transactions, while they are there, they are not presented in an invasive way (like your pointer doesn't default to click on it or anything) and although I don't like "pay to win"platforms, the easiest way around it (and to send the message) is to not support it.

    The in game grind isn't such a big issue, even since patch 1.08. I have mainly been sticking to the Trial Mountain Cup which is roughly 10 minutes, four laps of Trial Mountain and an easy win as there is no PP limit. Provided you race cleanly, you'll walk away with $100K every 10 minutes or so.

    Online seems to be great fun also, but there are some shocking drivers out there!

Menus are annoying going back and forward, downtime in navigating, there is no Ray tracing during gameplay (False Advertisement). Garage do not display cars in 3D during scrolling, just icons.     This used to be my favorite game. I even liked GT sport. I think $5 cars with the ability to win cars is fair.

    Y’all went full EA on this one. You can do microtransactions fairly or you can gouge the gamers and force them into bad situations. Guess which one you chose.

    Got the 25th Anniversary deluxe version and nothing to show vs the regular version. Cars are too expensive vs winnings made in races. Online game only, so if server is down, no game play for you! Micro transactions suck!! Wait til the game drops in price is my recommendation.

    Thanks to everyone who exposed This Fishy BS practice from Sony, I originally was planning to buy PS5 Solely just for GT7 alone, now i am skipping both, i will be selling My PS4 as well cuz i can't support those greedy bastards

    I will be sticking to PC for good
    I still have my Nintendo Switch, & so far it's going alright, i hope it won't be affected by the MTX in future

    Imagine playing GT Games since GT1, beeing a Fan since day 1 Back in the dass when, building the Love towards this Franchise and it took "only" 1 day to destroy my passion for this greedy attidute. This is it for me, i Sold my ps5 today since GT7 was the only reason for me to buy this overpriced, scalped console. GG Sony, this is the last Play Station Product for me.

    Tons of micro-transactions. Every "Roulette" ticket I've gotten so far has been literally the lowest payout possible. Cars cost an unrealistic amount compared to race rewards. Plus the story of the game is insufferable. Racing mechanics and car customization/selection are the only highlights.

    Absolutely insane that they change the game so dramatically post-release. If I would have known that this game would have been extremely anti-consumer I definitely wouldn't have got it. All of the goodwill that polyphony has built up with its fan base is going down the tube.

    Bought the 25th Anniversary edition installed it and wouldn’t run due to servers being down. Constantly getting disconnected and can’t play the game. Been playing GT since the original Playstation, what a shame it is to see the last couple of entries of such a legendary series dip to such a low.     The games mechanics are fantastic, however the always online drm and exceptional greed from the devs on the mtx completely ruin this game. Do not buy this greedy game.

    Grew up playing all the GT games and Sony/PD have managed to ruin their sterling 25 year reputation in one update. Always online singleplayer, MTX and abysmal race payouts have ruined what otherwise is a great game.

    The best way to destroy both the PlayStation 5 and The Entire Gran Turismo library for the last 25 years simultaneously. A $70+++ rental with no refunds and no actual ownership so yeah I don't want a PlayStation 5 and a Gran Turismo game ever. Thank you Sony for allowing me to easily make the best financial decisions in my life. Microsoft get me out of here!

    Lack of content offline. Online needed to do anything. Very few race tracks. Overpriced cars and rewards nerfed leaning towards micro transactions is killing the game.

    The only thing worst than micro transactions is the stupid music’s of this games, not even my grandma listen this kind of music.
    The FFB is worst than ever, MR cars are almost impossible to drive, they spin all the time with no reason.

    Thank you Jim Ryan and Hermen Hulst for ruining GT7 with always online DRM and micro-transactions. This was the only PS5 exclusive I was excited for because I’m a big fan of Polyphony Digital (and this being the ONLY remaining Japanese first-party studio) but it looks like “out of touch” grandpa Jim Ryan wants to completely destroy Japanese devs image.

    so this is the way they revive the series !! while commanding a high purchase price and microtransactions to tell you the truth the series died after gt5

    plus the gameplay, mission, championships were so short.... tracks that have been on since gt1 have been taken off

    good luck trying to get anything with the roulette wheel

    Another good game and a good series raped by micro transactions. You can no longer sell cars you win from races and they recently made the meager race payouts about 60% of what they used to be. Been playing since Gran Turismo on playstation 1 and they've convinced me not to play at this point.

    The driving aspect is phenomenal, but unless you are ready to spend hundreds, even thousands of dollars to get those exotic cars that we only dream of driving in real life or grind 10 to 12 hours to get enough credits to get just one of these then this game is definitely not for you.

    A beautiful and fun racing game completely ruined by a scummy f2p style game economy pushing you to buy currency in a $70+ game. I bought my ps5 in anticipation of a next gen Gran Turismo. The scope and pricing of micro transactions was hidden until after reviews came out. I can’t trust this company anymore.

    I'm not going to waste time typing out all of the problems because I'm too busy grinding credits to buy basic things in the game.

    Please fix this and remove the online requirement, micro transactions and rolling starts.

    Compared to a Forza Motorsport game where I’d have every car I’d want within this time since release, GT7 wants players to spend money on top of money for the same experience. Even with the 1.5 mil with the digital deluxe I’m still broke from upgrading and the race payouts are slave wage. Multiplayer payouts you ask? HA.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
