    Have been looking forward to this game for a very long time. First impressions looks amazing and feels good. Put a huge smile on my face. I am currently in line waiting to buy a Wi-Fi extender so I can play story mode at my girls house. I paid good money for this game and I have to be online to play it. Why?     $70 for a game that is unplayable if you aren't connected online is trash. sometimes my internet sucks at my house. My crappy ISP shouldn't be able to dictate if i can play a game I spent hard earned money on. i'm only about 15 to 20 hours in so the lack of credit accumulation and ability to buy and drive the best cars hasn't hit me yet but unfortunately its coming for me. I genuinely dislike micro transactions (and those present in GT7 should be criminalised), but I understand that this is how companies like to make huge profitargins on top of the purchase price already paid.     Bait and switch. Offer a single player game that is unusable offline is a major turnoff. Then once reviews are done, PD/Sony 1.07 release nerfs payouts to increase grind, ridiculously high priced "legendary" cars, no ability to sell cars, all in an effort to push MTX. BS

    I'm liking this game a lot. I'm not super glad about the micro-transaction policies, but am not planning on spending on credits anyway.
    Can't wait for GT7 to add more cars and music rallies!

    After the infamous patch 1.07, it's clear what they are trying to do. Force you to pay real money to buy cars. It takes all the fun out of an otherwise great game. You can't sell your cars in any way, the roulette doesn't seem random at all. Limited timed cars in the used and legendary dealership to force you to use microtransaction.     Less car than GTS, parts can't be Uninstall, no car selling but push you keep spending CR(and real money), price is 20 times expense than same car in GTS. GT7 just destory the name of GT. I will play another game once similar on market.

    It pains me to have to say this but I feel no joy playing after 1.08 patch. How am I supposed to get credits in game to buy new cars?! In previus games there was a beutiful balance with progress of skill and amount of money you got. Please fix this asap. I am a big fan.

    I mean after all we are so dedicated to them really VALUING good reviews, just like we are supposed to value good cars. We don’t want to short change them.

    For the price paid - a $10 increase over the long-standard $60 - you deserve a complete game with all content available through reasonable, achievable, non-frustrating progression that does NOT encourage microtransactions. In fact, there shouldn't be ANY microtransactions for cars themselves (or credits needed to buy them).     Being a long time fan of the series I love the GT series. Not this one. Even bought a PS5 and new 4K tv to play this. I regret that decision. Gran Turismo 7 belongs in the garbage bin. Yet another game ruined by micro transactions. Highly disappointed. Save your money and buy WRC10 instead. Definitely more fun.

    The Game is Broooken!!! Trying to enter the manufacturers cup for the third time and when qualifying should start, either there is an error or nothing happens!!! I just wasted 3 hours for this broken game!! Fix your game!! Omg...I will return to play Forza Motorsport with my friends. Big disappointment

    This is just ridiculous...

    A - The BLOOM from the sun in the game is way too much.
    B - Forced online play? What even happened to ye olde arcade mode that worked offline?
    C - Game does NOT feel next-gen at all to me, you can hardly notice the raytracing in the replays, and the amount of shadow pop-in is laughable.
    D - This car list is getting REALLY old.

    I am deeply disappointed with GT7. I was so excited to play it, but not long after I started playing, things started to fall apart. Here is why:

    The "campaign" is way too small, that menu thing does not give a sense of progression of any sort. The events are badly grouped by region, a very small amount of events/races.     The events are badly grouped by region, a very small amount of events/races. Only 10 championships and many of them are only 2 races in one track (normal and reverse) with 2 laps each.

    The multiplayer daily races are weekly races actually. The AI does not follow the sportmanship.

    No endurances at all (custom races with 200 laps aren't the same thing).

    No formula GT.

    They say there's over a hundred tracks. IF you count the track variants. If not, there's not even 50.

    That roulette thing is so ridiculous. After so many gift cards to spin it, 95% of times I got the worse prize.

    No photo mode during races.

    The economy is terrible. If you want to buy cars below 100k credits it's ok, but there are many good and great cars costing 1 to 3 millions and some awesome cars costing arount 8 million to 20 million credits and with the ridiculously low races rewards it takes an extremely long grind to get them.

    After finishing the whole menu, with many sport races and replaying some events I couldn't get 6 million yet. This forces the grinding, but Polyphony don't want that, they wan't you to buy the credits via mtx, so they heavily nerf the rewards. If there were more events (much much more), the grind would reduce a lot, and so the overall purchase of mtx. They don't want that.

    Before the game launch Sony showed a state of play. Because of that I decided to buy GT7. I can't remember when I was so disappointed in my entire gaming experience since the early 90's, if I've ever been. I never felt so deceived.

    The graphics are really great (sometimes the raytracing feels weird in car showroom, but its ok), the simulation too. For the first time I managed to get gold in all licenses, probably the difficulty is not as high as in previous GTs, but I really liked that. It is difficult, but its not impossible. The game had everything to be GREAT at launch, but its not, and there's still a very long road to it, maybe one day it will be great. I hope it will. Because Gran Turismo was by far my favorite racing simulation game. But Sony/Polyphony greedy ruined it.    … Expand

    Seems people forget the OG Gran Turismo's. If not for the grind, many would complain its too short.

    Great game, I haven't been asked to spend a penny yet. Put in the work, the best cars take time, thats part of the reward.

    I spent £50 thinking I would enjoy playing but was quickly disappointed. To earn money for the car I want I have to play for several hours or spend extra money on the game. I work and I do not have time to grind for money

I got 2 star Roulette tickets from doing my Daily Workout and I'm Car Collector level 28. Every Roulette Ticket I use grants me the Worst Item, which is Usually 5,000 Credits, I can get 10x more in 5 minutes from races (which they NERFED). There is not a 20% chance of getting an item, it feels like a 90% of Worst Item and a 1% chance of getting a Car, 1% of getting a new Engine and the other 8% is either Invites to cars (yes you need invites for certain cars) and Upgrades for cars you don't own. When it comes to races the Payouts are Very Low making it hard to get Money, so it basically wants you to Pay to Win, like how EA and Rockstar Games has done with their recent Games (GTA 5 is the worst for Microtransactions and you know what EA is Like.) Back to Legend Cars, the prices of Some Cars are going up, Like the Ferrari F50 and Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion which have had Up Arrows next to their Price Tags, making it harder to get them. Majority of the Cars on Used Car dealership are cars I already own because I have completed ALL 39 Menu Books. Also when it comes to cars some of the cars have a low amount of Customisation Options. Most cars Widebodies are impossible to Notice, the Alfa Romeo 8C has a 100,000 widebody and it literally makes the tiniest difference whatsoever. Car handling sucks too. Rallying is Super Hard because you car decides it wants to Fly and attempt to do a back/frontflip. Another thing is that it's Online Only, people who don't own PS Plus are restriced to Doing Arcade Races with the Car they have Selected and EVERYTHING ELSE is Unavialible, in fact I have not seen a Courtesy Car Selections like Older GT Games have. Penalties are broken (AGAIN.) I watched a dude get punted off the track during a Daily Race and the Victim received a 46 second Penalty. This game is that bad it doesn't topple Gran Turismo 4, the best game of the series and on a Tier List I could put Gran Turismo 7 with Gran Turismo 3 because they are both Equally as bad, but GT7 feels Worse. I feel like GT7 is gonna get Abandoned like what EA did to NFS Heat.… Expand

    Nice job with false information about being able to sell cars.. no events to earn decent credits, barely no grid start races.     Owned & played every Gran Turismo since the first iteration. GT7 is the main reason I jumped through through numerous hoops to even get a PS5. Polyphony Digital’s decision to push micro transactions, and an always online requirement to even play single player modes is downright disgraceful.     El juego es muy justo, le restan muchas cosas, y el online obligatorio lo que más de todo, en resumen, pocas carreras, modo café repetitivo y poco a aportar más, no tengo sensación de juego de carreras de coches, pareces mas bien un misionero que un piloto.

    I am not one to join on review bombs but the economy of this game just ruins the experience. There is a very good racing game in here, but the economy robs the game of any fun or enjoyment. It feels like I am being swindled and if PSN supported refunds I would request one immediately.

    After the disaster that GT Sport was. I was really hoping for better. Instead we got a game with more micro-transactions than an enjoy-full experience. You have to buy the cars with micro-transactions if you don't want to have an awful bad grind type of experience. I expected so much better for and from this game. This is not what Polyphony Digital promised! Very BAD!

    On of the best feeling racing game out to date. Great sound great music over all on of the best racing game I have played. Unfortunately this is all ruin by a horrible micro transaction Harvey economy in the game and what even worst is the developer not seeing it as an issue

    The game was great fun up until the menus ended and it became apparent this game is essentially just one massive grind just to enjoy the cars you want. Then they updated it to reduce payouts.

    From a prior GT series fan and actual race car driver, this is trash. The physics are unrealistic, you can't drive a RWD without TCS on or it will constantly spin and whip. The café story progression is mind numbingly boring and repetitive. The chase camera is so stiff its nauseating, the rpm gauge doesn't even read true redline or have any numbers for any car so that is useless. Just repainting a car requires custom naming a save file. Multiplayer sucks and you can't even change a track or room settings without creating an entire new room and finding your party again.
    On the plus side it has good graphics and good information about history, but all in all its an awful game and has pushed me away from the series for good. And to think I bought a PS5 strictly to get this game only to be disappointed.    … Expand

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
